I know in the first time in forever I gave it a good title

But whatever, so I have an idea for a story, (that I will never write) and I thought it was pretty good.

So all their life, this kid (who i'll name Ari) thinks all their life that they are the chosen one. They keep on seeing odd things happen, like things floating or wood randomly catching on fire. Ari it convinced and keeps on learning about magic and witches at the school library (which turns out to be all wrong, unsurprisingly)

And when Ari is finally visited by a magical creature asking for assistance, they aren't asking for  Ari, they're asking for their mom.

Now let me give you some backstory on the mom. The mom (who is named Celeste) was (and still is) a reckless teen. She partied, drank, and got a little too frisky with the quarterback, resulting in Ari. Now Celeste had Ari when she was just 15, so she was going to school, working, partying, dating various people, and taking care of Ari all in one day. But mostly partying. Now Celeste wasn't a bad mother, she just was never ready to be a mom.

So the whole adventure is following Celeste and Ari learning magic and bonding.
