Story time! Pt.2

Huntress: Hey, guys, I'm back!~

Irina: I'm here too! :D

Hunter: Welcome back! XD

Same: Did Alex catch up to you?

Huntress: What do you mean?

Zyren: I'm gonna assume he didn't.

Same: Last time we saw him, he went looking for you.

Huntress: Did he? Oh well, no point in dwelling on the past. I should probably do what I came here to do

Zyren: And what's that?

Oracle: You're here to tell us the rest of that story, aren't you?

Huntress: Yup!~

Irina: Yay! :D

Hunter: Story time! :D

Same: About time.

Huntress: Okay, now where did I left off? Oh, that's right. The second part of  "The Tragic Story of the Exorcist who Cursed a Demon"...

===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== =====

Cas's thoughts - bold " "
Iz's thoughts - italic ' '

Iz: 'No help comes as my world quietly sinks, drifting slowly as my my last breath escaped in bubbles and disappeared, deeper and deeper to the bottom of the ocean.

Hey, did you know? The act of bloodsucking has an aphrodisiac effect. You freed me by giving me blood, so you must take responsibility.'

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Iz: Ah! I drank enough so...

The demon attempted to shove the exorcist away which resulted in Cas pushing Iz down.

Cas: So annoying.

Iz: W-Why... Let go. Ah!

Cas: You don't care who it's from as long as you get blood, right you bastard?!

Iz: No! Stop!

Cas covered the demon's mouth. Iz's eyes welled up.

Cas: Shut up. Be grateful I'm doing this.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~time skip ~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Iz: 'He's always in a bad mood when I come to my senses. Clearly, he doesn't enjoy doing this. He should just end it already.

There's no point. So why does he keeps doing this?'

Iz panted as it laid quietly on the bed with Cas sitting next to it.

Cas: You've gotten quiet. You must've drunk enough blood.

He caressed the demon's cheek.

Cas: Does it hurt anywhere?

Iz: What are you saying? You're the one who treated me so roughly. Anyone would've been quiet after such violent treatment.

Annoyed, Cas grabbed the back of Iz's head, and shoved demon's face into the bed.

Cas: Don't mess with me. You're a monter who drinks people's blood to survive. I'm just giving you blood out of pity.

Iz: I can survive without blood. Just kill me already. If you don't like it, then put a stake through me, or use that pretty cross of yours.

Cas let go.

Cas: Geez, what the heck. It's not like you have another place to get blood, right?

Iz: I'm not telling you. Anyway, what else am I supposed to do? You basically tie me up every full moon.

Iz stood up and got dressed.

Iz: I got the blood, so I'm going home. I have no more business with you.

The demon left, soaring through the night sky.

Iz: 'My body is boiling. As each day passes, my bloodlust grows stronger. Every time I drink blood, the less human I become and more of a monster. It's scary. I wonder what I'll become...

~~ ~~ ~~ ~a few days later~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Iz sat under a large tree, enjoying the shade it was giving. It heard someone humming and looked for the source. Iz saw a girl walking down the path.

Iz: 'A human.'

When the girl had passed by, Iz collapsed to its knees. The demon felt dizzy, its throat was dry.

Iz: Ah, no.

Iz grasped it's throat and started coughing violently.

Iz: 'I have to break this curse.'

~~ ~~ ~~ ~later~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Iz flew in to see the exorcist sitting on the altar.

Iz: An exorcist sitting on the altar. You must be very ill-bred indeed.

Iz smirked.

Iz: Well, you are a sinful exorcist who managed to curse a demon after all!

It said cheerfully.

Cas: Annoying. Can't you just ask what's bothering me?

The demon got closer to Cas.

Iz: I'm sorry, but I couldn't hear you.

Cas: Bull****.

Iz: If you say so.

Cas: I got a notice from my higher ups. Probably about your actions.

Iz: I don't care. It's nothing to do with me!~

Cas: More importantly, you're really bad at this, aren't you. You got spotted by the townsfolk.

Iz smiled smugly.

Iz: What are saying? Don't tell me you're worried about me.

Cas: As if. Who would be worried about you? Demon.

Iz: Then tell me who it was. I can protect myself at least!

Cas: What are you getting angry for? I'm not letting you go after the townsfolk. Besides, a demon who gets itself cursed by an exorcist so easily probably couldn't do much anyway.

Iz: I get it. I said it many times before, I don't need your blood.

Do you even understand how strange your actions have been? This isn't necessary. You should just undo it now. Stupid.

Cas: Did you lose your ability to think when you became a demon? Once it's cast, the spell can't be undone unless I die... Here.

Cas outstretched his hand to the demon.

Iz: Huh?

Cas: Ah, you're such a pain. Just give me your hand. Hurry up!

Iz: Wai—

Cas grabbed Iz's hand.

Cas: Don't go anywhere else.

Iz: !!!

Cas: Creatures like you aren't worthy to be seen by others. Only I should overlook that.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~time skip~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Iz tossed away the book and pick up another one. It sighed as it flipped through the pages.

Iz: 'That almost sounds like a love confession.'

Don't go anywhere else, huh. What a cruel thing to say.

'I'm not stupid. I won't be deceived or misunderstand it. Cas just wants to protect his precious humans.

I need to find a way to turn human again.

Yes, I must turn back. It's no use knowing what he's thinking. Because of this curse I cannot escape and...'

~~ ~~ ~~ ~time skip~ ~~ ~~ ~~

The demon started laughing as it 'slept' with the exorcist.

Cas: You're annoying.

Iz: Haha! Ah, how funny. This body has developed quite a bit. It certainly wasn't this fun the first time.

Cas: Huh?

Iz: What's with that face? You were so rough that time. I healed thanks to the blood, but it still hurt.

Cas: What are you talking about.

Iz leaned closer to his face.

Iz: I'm asking how was taking my virginity.

Cas: You!!

Cas harshly pushed Iz down on the bed. It laughed.

Iz: Ah, what's wrong? Did you really think I would sleep with anyone? Did the other me cry and such?

The exorcist didn't respond.

Iz: Wait, did they really?! Haha, Cas is seriously mean!~

Cas: Shut up.

Cas bit down hard on his finger, making it bleed.

Iz: Oh, is it time to drink? That's fine, but that means the other me will wake up, you know? You really are thoughtless.

I pity me.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~time skip~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Cas: "It's pointless. Not something to dwell on."

The demon started to get dressed.

Iz: 'Unfortunately, when I lose myself I can't do anything about it. So it's better to just close my eyes and let it pass.

More importantly, I need to get back and keep researching before it's too late.'

I'm leaving.

When it finished, Iz left.

Cas: ... Iz.

Iz: 'This is terrible.'

The demon coughed as it flew.

Iz: 'The smell of blood is getting stronger. My vision is blurry. I'm so dizzy. My throat is parched.

It's too bad I can't watch Cas anymore...

It not worth grieving over.'

~~ ~~ ~~ ~the next day~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Cas looked up to the usual spot where Iz used to be.

Person: What's wrong, Mr. Exorcist?

Cas: Nothing.

"Why isn't Iz there?"

~~ ~~ ~~ ~a couple days later~ ~~ ~~ ~~

The exorcist entered the old abandoned castle, with a large cross in hand. He approached an open coffin surrounded by books. The demon sleeping inside it.

Cas: Hey.

Iz: Huh, Cas? Why are you here?

Iz lazily sat up in the coffin, rubbing it's eyes.

Cas: "It's complexion looks fine."

I didn't see you, so thought something might've happened. I took great pains to that curse on you, but it would pointless if you went somewhere else to feed.

"I can't calm down."

Iz: 'Ah, he doesn't trust me. Hm. Well, what did I expect? ...'

An idea formed in the demon's head.

Iz: You have good timing, Cas.

In that case, won't you just kill me? As long as I don't resist, it'll only take one stab of that cross.

Iz gestured to the large cross the exorcist held.

Cas: Hah...?

Iz: Hey, Cas. I want to be reincarnated as a human.

There's no one besides me who you want to destroy the most, right? So our interests align.

Kill me.

Cas: And why should I do what you tell me to?! Stop screwing around! That's absurd!

Iz: Why not? Thanks to you, the world will have one less demon living in it. You should have no objections.

And it's better for me than being in this body which prevents me from being with the person I like...

Cas scowled and narrowed his eyes.

Cas: Like...? Who?

Iz: That's a secret.

The exorcist used a pointed end of the cross to tilt the demon's head up.

Cas: If you die, you turn to ashes. There's no reincarnation for demons.

Iz: We won't know for sure sure until you actually do it.

Cas: Even if you are reincarnated, it might not even be during the lifetime of the person you like.

Iz: That's fine.

Cas: Who is it?

Iz: I can't say.

Cas: Answer!

Cas pressed the cross harder.

Iz: Just add a bit more strength. You acting on your resentment is your strong point.

Cas: ... Ah, that's right. It's almost the full moon isn't it.

Iz: Huh?

Cas: It doesn't matter. You always confess in that state, so I'll get my answer then.

Iz: What are you talking about, Cas?

Cas turned and walked away.

Iz: Wait a minute! It has nothing to do with you!

Iz tried reaching out its hand, but let it fall.

Iz: You absolutely regret it... Why...

'Cas... Why aren't you happy? Isn't this all according to your plan? I don't get it.

Is the fact that I can't understand because I'm starting to lose my humanity? I can't even turn to dust.

A cursed demon.

A being who can't love.

A plaything with no heart.'

Just who do you think I want to be with so much that I would want to be human again...

~~ ~~ ~~ ~meanwhile~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Cas: "Why do I always get irritated by Iz? I can't say."

You've got to be kidding me!!!

"The full moon. Right, tomorrow's the full moon. I'll learn everything then.

Serves you right, Iz!

I won't let another human lay their hands on you! I'll expose all your schemes!"

He grinned.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~the next full moon~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Iz: It's rare to see you in such a good mood.

The demon said as it was pushed down onto the bed.

Iz: Did something good happen?

Cas: I was waiting for you.

Iz: Me?

Cas: Yes, you. Hey, Monster, who does the other you like?

Iz looked confused.

Iz: ...You?

Cas: We're not talking about me!

Iz: But you asked who the other me likes, right? It's you. You didn't notice?

Cas: ...Huh?

Iz: Aha, what's with that look? Don't tell me you're feeling guilty.

You're the one who made a demon your toy.

I always thought Cas had wicked interests! So much that you snatched away Iz's consciousness to give them blood. I always laugh when I think about how much they've been hurt.

Suffering alone, without the god who can call their name or the partner who shouts it. Serves them right! Locking me up this whole time. It delights me.

Cas grabbed the demon by the neck.

Iz: What's with that look? Are you going to shift the blame onto me again? How cowardly, Cas.

Cas: What about Iz?

Iz: Iz, well, they didn't want to do this. They'd rather suffer alone. But Iz doesn't really hate you, you know. The person they love just happens to be a good-for-nothing, that's all. Haha!

Hey, when a human has a strong mental consciousness and they become a demon, do you know what happens?

By drinking blood, that person's consciousness will be taken over be the consciousness of the demon. Hehe.

Cas: Hey, what are you saying? Weren't we talking about the person you like?

Iz: They never wanted to drink blood. So Iz was incredibly close to the consciousness of a normal human, but...

You gave them blood. They became parched and couldn't go to the town anymore. The smell of human blood was just too strong around that area. The smell became so strong that Iz had to seclude theirself in the castle so they wouldn't attack humans.

Until the cruel full moon appears.

You're the one who cast the Full Moon Spell, aren't you? You have no idea of Iz's anguish. The one who profited the most of course, is me. Thanks to you, I've slowly been able to take them over. You get angered just a little, and you immediately give them blood. So simple so foolish.

'And you didn't even notice your own feelings, you stupid human.'

So, who was the one who tore down all of Iz's carefully erected defenses and let me, the demon, out into the world?

It was you, Cas.

===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== ===== =====

Zyren: ... That's it?

Huntress: Yup.

Oracle: That was a rather... intriguing story, Huntress.

Huntress: Why thank you.

Same: What?! But that can't be it!

Huntress: Oh, I didn't know you so interested in the story, Same.

Same: I-I'm not. But you can't just leave a story on a cliffhanger!

Huntress: I think that was a great ending.

Hunter: But what happened after?

Huntress: You know what they say, "Curiosity killed the cat".

Hunter: But satisfaction brought it back!

Huntress: Just stop asking about it.

Irina: Such a tragic story indeed. Cas is so possessive yet he doesn't even realize his true feelings for Iz, and Iz just wants to be human again but their inner demon won't let them.

Alex burst into the room.

Alex: Huntress! *pant pant* The-*pant* There you are. I-I've been looking for you everywhere.

Huntress let out a small laugh.

Huntress: Well, that's my cue to leave. See ya!

Huntress: DISCLAIMER!! Remember guys, All_4_Fun doesn't own the story I told the others, just changed it up and shortened it a bit. It belongs to a different person!
