Oracle: Fascinating. You're an illusion worker aren't you?

Oracle: So you didn't take away their voices. *points at Zyren & Same* You just created an illusion that no one can hear them.

Irina: Wow, you're a smart bear. :3

Hunter: Hey, can you fix them? I don't think they can handle it any longer.

Irina: Okay, fine.

Same: I can speak!

Zyren: Ah! My voice! My beautiful and gorgeous voice!

Zyren: *hits him*

Hunter: Anyways, I'm still bored.

Irina: Weeeelll, I could tell a story.

Zyren & Same: NOOO!!!!

Hunter: But I wanna hear a story. D:

Zyren & Same: NOOO!!!!

Oracle: I agree. Perhaps Huntress should be the one doing the storytelling.

Huntress: Yes, indeed I should.

Irina: Wow, you just popped out of nowhere.

Huntress: It's what I do. Now then shall I tell a story.

Zyren: Go for it.

Same: I'm down.

Irina: On your knees with your-

Same: SHUT UP!!

Hunter: Yay! Story!

Oracle: This should be interesting.

Huntress: As you know, I love dimension traveling so I see a lot interesting things.

Hunter: Will this be a true story?

Huntress: Of Course!

Irina: Will there be-

Huntress: Just mentioned.

Irina: Works for me.

Zyren: Who is it about?

Huntress: I can't tell you their real names so we'll be calling the first character, Cas. And the second character, uh, Iz.

Same: Seriously, Cas and Iz?

Huntress: Shut up! No More Questions! Let me tell my story! Now, everyone, sit back and relax as I tell you "The Story of the Exorcist who Cursed a Demon"

A long time ago, when demons freely roamed the earth and humans who hunted them called "exorcists" existed. On the outskirts of a town lived an exorcist named Cas. He was well-known in the town and does his job well, and while there were many who came to him for help, there were those who feared his abilities but that was common for exorcists.

Now, Cas had an everyday routine which included scouting the town and the outskirts for any demons, there were also times when he went hunting for them in the forest. But there was a particular demon Cas didn't bother for unknown reasons, this demon called itself Iz.

Iz was a peculiar demon, its kind lived off of roses or human blood. There was a time when Iz was once one of these humans itself, but now cursed into its demonic form. Iz liked following Cas and watched him during his daily routines, its reasons being it developed an 'interest' in the exorcist.

This went on for a while until...

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~

Cas slammed the door open, stomping in, while a demon followed behind him.

Cas: I can't believe I'm doing this!

Iz: Pardon my intrusion~

Cas: Shut up!

Iz: 'What an idiot, he only cares about his sister. He let a demon into his house. Stupid! ... '

As soon as they entered room of Cas's sister. The exorcist pressed a rosary again the demon's back.

Cas: You can really fix her curse, right? If you're lying I'll kill you, don't forget I'll always catch you in the end.

Iz stepped away from Cas and waved him off.

Iz: Relax. By the time I'm finished, you'll be praising me.

'I look like an idiot. Just seizing every chance I get. I know he didn't want to invite me in. He only did this for his sister.'

The demon sat next to Cas's sister. The exorcist sat behind it.

Iz: 'Does it hurt? The pain will be over soon. Because I will take it.'

Iz placed its hand on the girls's chest. It glowed briefly, taking away the dark magic. The girl slowly opened her eyes. The exorcist quickly rushed to her side, pushing the demon out of the way. Iz clutched its hand which was quickly corrupting with the curse.

Cas: Thank goodness! How are you feeling, sis? Do you want something to eat? Hey Iz-

Cas turned to the demon, but it already left.

Iz rushed through the forest, clutching its arm, panting heavily.

Iz: 'This curse is powerful. Did I take it just because he let me in his house for a bit? No, that can be true.'

The demon collapsed onto a rose field.

Iz: 'Where he touched me with the cross, it burns. I have no more strength left.'

It weakly reached out and grasped a rose; the flower withered away.

~~ ~a few days later~ ~~

Cas's Sister: Hey, Bro.

Cas: Yes, are you feeling better?

CS: Yeah, but I was wondering if you could introduce me to the person who saved my life. I'd like to give them my thanks.

Cas: Well, they're pretty busy, so I don't think you'll be able to.

CS: I see. But if you see them, by any chance, please give them my thanks.

Cas: Right.

"I wanted to thank Iz, but I haven't seen it around lately. That cold body that looks human... I wonder..."

Then all out of a sudden, the voice of one of the townspeople rang out.

Person: It's terrible! The roses in the forest!-

Iz dozed off peacefully under the tree but was woken by the sounds of footsteps approaching.

Cas: Hey.

Iz: Cas?!

Cas: Yeah, it's me.

Iz: I admit, I'm glad you came even though you have no reason to. How's your little sister doing?

Cas: Actually, I wanted to thank you. Why don't we go to my house for a bit?

Iz: 'W-What?! C-Cas is?!...'

I don't want any thanks from you.

'Ahhh! No! That not what I meant.'

Cas: So annoying!! Come on!!

Cas grabbed Iz by the wrist and pulled the demon to his house. Iz blushed but the exorcist didn't notice.

Cas: Just stand there and close your eyes. Don't open them until I say you can.

Iz: What are you doing?

Cas: just close your eyes.

The demon closed its eyes.

Iz: 'This feels like a strange way of thanking me.'

Cas stood right in front of Iz.

Cas: Open your mouth. You don't have to be afraid. I'm just giving you my thanks, right?

The demon blushed, but it hesitantly opened its mouth. Then Cas shoved his fingers into Iz's mouth and pushed the demon against the wall.

Iz: 'No... This is blood!'

The demon tried to free itself, but the exorcist held firm.

Cas: Just drink.

The exorcist commanded. He leaned closer to the demon's ear.

Cas: After you took away my sister's curse, all the roses died. I know you get your strength from blood and roses. You don't have enough strength, right? You need to eat, don't you?

Iz tried to fight back. It tried to resist the urges, but in the end, it couldn't. When it was done feeding, the demon slid to the floor, its back against the wall.

Cas: What? Are you done already?

Iz: I didn't say I wanted this. Just because the roses died, didn't mean I was starving.

Cas crouched down to Iz's level.

Cas: You're lying aren't you?

Iz swallowed.

Cas: Doesn't matter. That was all I was gonna give you.

Iz: I don't care that you fed me. I'm leaving.

Iz quickly got to its feet, sprouted its wings, and flew out through an open window. Cas watched as the demon flew away. He smiled-

Cas: There's no where you can run.

And closed the window, humming a tune.

Iz: Cas, you idiot.

'I can't believe he actually did that.'

Iz blushed and looked up to the sky.

Iz: 'It will be a full moon soon.'

The demon started to laugh.

'All my problems come from Cas and yet..

I'm such a fool...

You were made from a divine being. We were made the same, but have fallen to become the hunter and the hunted. That's right, we're the number one scapegoats, aren't we, Cas? You cannot forgive the existence of absolute evil.

But I still have a heart that loves.

But who would believe a demon falling in love with an exorcist?

Like the mermaid princess who threw her body into the sea and became foam when her love didn't come true. I wonder if you can be happy just to be near the person you love, even for one second.'

Iz hugged its knees to its chest and rested its head.

Iz: 'Just knowing I can't have it, makes it hard.

I remember the pleasures. The joy, the happiness, the relief.

I remember everything from when I was human...

I want it, but I can't have it again.'

*Knock Knock*

Cas: Come in.

The door creaked open. The demon floated inside and wrapped its arms around the exorcist.

On every night of the full moon, the demon would return to the exorcist, craving more of his delicious blood. Of course, the exorcist wouldn't just give it for free, there had to be some give and take. So the exorcist took advantage of the demon's body.

Iz: Hold me. Won't you, Cas?

Cas: "It attracts both men and women, regardless of gender, because it covets their blood."

Iz: Please give it to me. I want it.

Cas: Not yet.

"I don't want to see; I don't want to hear its enticing voice; because if I do, my own feelings will awaken.

My desire to monopolize Iz is so strong, it drives me crazy.

I can't let Iz's true nature be exposed to the public. I can't. I refuse. More than anything, no one else can know about this demon.

I want to lock him up."

~~ ~In the morning~ ~~

Iz: You're the worst! I had no idea it was you...

The exorcist sat on his bed while the demon got dressed. He brought the cigarette to his lips and let out a puff of smoke.

Cas: Says the monster masking itself as a human. I didn't even have to use force when I cursed you.

Iz: Wow, I wonder what everyone would think if they heard you say things like that.

The exorcist was unfazed. He blew another puff of smoke.

Cas: The curse will be active during the full moon. When that happens, you must come here. Not anywhere else.

Iz: 'Those words are rather possessive. However...'

There's no reason to put me under house arrest to feed.

You hypocrite!

If you don't like me then just kill me!

You're nothing but a monster with the face of an exorcist!

I hate you! Hate! I HATE YOU!!

Cas: Yeah, I hate you too.

Iz: 'I can't even remember what I did. I have no memory. But when the full moon comes, I'll lose all awareness and go there, and I won't be able to regain consciousness until I drink blood.

There are times when even demons want to cry.

I wonder how Cas held me? Was he gentle because I wasn't aware? Or did he just stare at me with cold eyes?

I'm jealous of myself. Such an idiot.

These empty hands.

I cannot be saved. From my true, cursed self.'

The demon spread its wings and flew. What it didn't see was two townfolk who saw it.

Person 1: Look, I knew it, there's a demon here!

Person 2: We must tell the exorcist!

Huntress: And that's it for the first part of the 2-part story.

Everyone except Huntress & Oracle: WHAT?!

Huntress: Yup, ya gotta wait till next time.

Irina: Hey, is Iz a male or female?

Huntress: Think whatever you want.

Irina: For real?!

Huntress: *nods*

Irina: KYYAAAHHHH!!!!

Zyren: Huntress, tell us the rest of the story!

Huntress: Sorry, but that's it for now, kiddies. Bye bye~ *leaves*

Same: Well, she was in a hurry.

Alex: Hey, guys.

Same: Hey, Alex, you're late. Huntress literally just left.

Alex: Oh. Really?

Hunter: Yeah! She told us a story, but she didn't finish it. ):

Alex: Bummer.

Zyren: Hey, Alex. I have a question.

Alex: Hit me.

Zyren: Does Huntress's eye color normally change from dark blue to violet?

Alex: ... I'll be right back. *leaves after Huntress*

Hunter: Hey, has anyone realized that Maker hasn't showed up all today?

Same: Huh, no wonder we weren't getting hit for cursing.

Oracle: Assir isn't here either.

Zyren: Oh, yeah, that guy.

Hunter: Poor Assir.

Same: New torture methods I bet.

Irina: So that's who I'm filling in for!... Wait, who's Assir again?

Everyone except Irina: *facepalm*

Same: That's it, I'm turning in for the day. See ya, guys.
