Jeffory's POV
I woke up to Katelyn screaming and heard her sobbing. I ran up to her and hugged her, I felt her relax. "It's ok I'm here." I say in a soft voice. "J-Jeffory I had the worst nightmare I ever had." "What was it about?" I asked her concerned. I could feel her tense up and she said "I watched all my friends and family die all over again and I couldn't do anything to stop it..." she trailed off. Why did I ask her that? "It's okay Katelyn. We're here to help you." I said. "How long was I out." she asked. I said "A few days now." She asked "Where's Ivy?! When I find her, I'm going to rip her head off!" I tense up and saying "I killed her... When I saw her stab you. I went rage and I stabbed her in so many places..." I stopped looking at Katelyn with worry in her eyes. "It's okay Jeffory. You just wanted to protect me." she said. I should tell her about my feelings for her. "Hey Katelyn there's something I want to tell you." I said. "Yes?" she said looking at me with worry and concern in her eyes. "Well, I uh..." I took a deep breath and said "Katelyn I love you. I loved you ever since I met you." She looked at me shocked, "I understand that you don't lo-" I was cut off by Katelyn's lips connecting with my and I kissed back. We broke up from our kiss. "I love you too Jeffory, I was so shy to tell you." she said looking at me with love in her eyes. "Awwwww!" Abby said looking at them. Katelyn and I quietly looked up at Abby. "How long have you been standing there?" Katelyn asked blushing a very dark shade of red and I felt myself heat up too. "Oh long enough to see you guys confess your feelings for each other and kiss." she said smirking evilly. Then Aphmau ran up the ladder and said "Guys come quick! There's two people at the gates and they claim to know Katelyn." "What?" Katelyn said surprised. "Come on now." I said getting up. When we got to the gates, I saw a purple haired man and a light blue haired girl with him. I heard Katelyn say "No! He can't be alive!"
Katelyn's POV
I stared at the man saying "Mallen! How in Irene's mother you're alive?! You died with our parents and other brothers!" I start to tear up but I stopped myself. "I ran from the place and I knew that one day that I would find you again sis!" he explained. The blue haired girl he was with said "Katelyn I know that you're shocked that your brother is alive but Tu'la is planning to invade New Mitili (I know that I spelled that wrong)." Everyone was shocked. "What?!" Aphmau yelled. "We have to warn Candenza!" Levin said. "Hey sis can you follow me and the girl with me, there's something we should tell you." Mallen said. I followed them into the house where me, Jeffory, and Abby live in. "So what did you guys wanted to tell me?" I said. I don't know but that girl looks a lot like me. The girl took a deep breath and said "Katelyn. I'm your twin sister and our parents took me away from the house and gave me to a nice young woman." I stood there just in pure shock. I fell to the ground and I blacked out.
