Katie's POV
I looked at the wall thinking I hate myself! I don't deserve to live... I hurt my brother and sister! At least I was able to free Cadenza. A guard walked up to my cell, opened the door and said "Get up! It's time for your execution." Two more guards walked in and grabbed me. They transported me to a big courtyard and there was the king, sitting on his special chair, I looked around, people were gathering to see my execution. I saw the rest of the Jury of Nine looking at me, some showed hatred but three or four showed sadness and pity for me. They put me in a chair in front of the king. I stared at the king, waiting for him to say something. The king said "Katie the Frostfist. You are a traitor to O'Khasis and to me. And with that, you are to be executed. Got any last words before my guards kill you?"

Katelyn's POV
I looked at Katie with desperation and horror. Rosy was looking at Dan with confused eyes and asked "What's wrong Daddy? Why are you angry and why is mommy in a chair handcuffed?" Dan just looked at her and didn't answer. I don't blame him. Urhhh! We have to do something! I looked at Jeffory and he's thinking the same thing. "We can't just watch her die!" I whispered to everyone. Before anyone could answer, the king said "Bring the traitor's family!" Guards walked over to Dan and Rosy and grabbed them, pulling them to where Katie was. "Let my daughter go! You piece of crap!" Dan yelled at one of the guards and the guard hit him on the head. They were in front of Katie and the king said "I'm going to get you a second chance if you kill your family!" "NEVER!" Katie screamed. "Fine. Kill them all." he said. "What?! No you can't do that!" Katie yelled. "I don't care." the king said. I nodded at Aphmau and we charged at the guards and killing them. People screamed and ran away. We started to fight the Tu'La guards and I ran to Katie and cut her cuffs off and hugged her. "Let's get out of here!" Abby yelled. I heard a scream and turned around to see a guard walking slowly towards Rosy with his sword ready to kill.

Katie's POV
I saw a guard walking towards my daughter ready to kill her. I looked at Katelyn with sadness and whispered "I'm sorry." She looked at me with confusion. "Wha-" she stopped when I ran towards Rosy. The guard had his sword high above his head ready to stab her. I yelled "NOOO!!!" as I ran in between them and felt a sharp pain in my heart and looked down to see the guard's sword in my chest. Katelyn screamed "KATIE! NO!" I fell to the ground in pain. I looked at Rosy and said "I love you and your father so much..." she said "No! Mommy! Please don't die!" she started to sob. Katelyn ran over and killed the guard. She said "Katie! Don't leave me!" I just whispered "Mallen......Katelyn......Dan......Rosy." I closed my eyes and I let death overtake me.
