(Evalen-at about 7:00am)

Me and Lani are talking in the Slytherin common room before breakfast. "So why did you wake me up this early again?" I ask, laying, curled up on the couch. "Because...I think I have an idea...plus it's only 7:00! Not that early!" Lani says pacing the room. "Uh...ok, what's your idea then?" I ask, resting my face in my arms and looking up at her.

"Well as you know...my father was a Death Eater...Christmas holiday's are coming up, maybe I can ask him if any...dark activity has flared up!" I say, sitting down next to her. "Oh! Do you think that would help?!" I ask sitting up excitedly. "Yes and my father has many restricted books on the dark arts and that era...I'm sure I can get into his study and take some!" Lani reply's standing again, "But...he did leave the Death Eaters...there is a small chance that they wouldn't tell him of course...he does work for the ministry now so...maybe he can get information from there..." she rants and walks around again.

I stand and grab our bags, "Here!" I start, throwing Lani her bag, "We can talk about it more later, for now lets get to breakfast!" I say and we walk out of the common room and up to the Great Hall.

(Bella-at about 7:10am)

Me, Grace, Carson, James, Chloe, Isadora and Cloud are sitting at Gryffindor table talking about school, Christmas and quidditch. "So guys! Only two more weeks until Christmas! We are going to hang out right?" Chloe asks hopefully. "Of course, we can have sleepovers and give each other Christmas presents!" Cloud replies grabbing some toast.

"We should have a sleepover on Christmas Eve!" Chloe gasps, grabbing a pumpkin scone. "Yes! That would be so fun! Who has a big house with parents that wouldn't care if we all came over?" Cloud laughs. "My parents wouldn't mind!" James says, taking a bite of a sausage. "Ok do you have enough rooms for everyone?" I ask, joining the conversation.

James nods, "Yes, Albus is staying at Malfoy Manor over Christmas and Lily is staying with Rose and Hugo so we have my room, Albus's room, Lily's room and the two spare bedrooms!". "Ok that's place settled, what about presents, we are giving each other presents right?" Evalen asks.

"Definitely! It's Christmas after all!" I say with a chuckle. "Can everyone come?" Lani asks, finishing her breakfast. "I will ask but I can't make any promises!" Grace replies, also finishing her breakfast.

I hug her slightly before standing, "What classes do we have now?" Isadora looks up from her book and grabs out her timetable, "Gryffindor and Ravenclaw have DATDA and Slytherin and Hufflepuff have History of Magic." Everyone stands and we leave the hall. I follow Grace and Carson to DATDA and we take a seat in front of Chloe, Cloud and Isadora.

Professor Roscutes walks to the front and starts the lesson. "Today we will have a quiz! Please close you books and get your quills ready," she announces and with a flick of her wrist, the test papers float around to each student. I look down at the paper and smile. "Uh, another test! Seriously! We had one last week!" Carson whines and I scowl at him, "And? This actually looks really interesting, it's on Werewolves, Animagi and Metamorphagi!" I say skeptically.

Carson rolls his eyes and we start the exam. I finish the test and hand it in early. "Well done Miss Prewett! You may go back to your common room now," Professor Roscutes says, handing me my test back. "Uh...actually professor? I was wondering if I could ask you something..."I say. "Oh, anything dear!" she says with a slightly confused expression.

"Could you tell me anything about Death Eaters? Any information would be helpful!" I blurt out. Her face turns white and her eyes widen, "I know much about Death Eaters...why would you like me to tell you about them?" I stand there thinking of an excuse, "I...wanted to know because...I wanted to do extra credit! Yes extra credit!"

She looks at me confused, "Oh...well then...Death Eaters are-were the most trusted of Voldemort's followers...many of them were caught and went to Azkaban though some of them are still out there...they would do anything for the Dark Lord, if it meant killing, kidnapping, torturing and they would always succeed or else they would be murdered by him, "she says, looking down curiously at me. "So...they are still around...has there been any activity from them?" I ask.

"I really don't know...Miss Prewett? Are you sure this is only for extra credit?" she asks me seriously. I nod with a thin, fake smile, "Yes of course Professor...thank you for your help!" She watches me as I exit the classroom with my friends and down the corridor with a confused and curious expression.

(Laylani-at about 6:00pm)

Me and Evalen walk down to dinner from Slytherin common room and sit with everyone. James smiles as I sit down next to him. "Hey...are you ok?" I ask with a nervous laugh. "Yep perfectly fine! How are you?" I look at him strangely before smiling, "I'm fine..." Everyone stares at me, though smiling warmly. I ignore it and start to pile food onto my plate.

We talk all through dinner and then me, Evalen and Darcy walk back to our dorms. "So...what are you guys hoping to get for Christmas presents this year?" Darcy asks and we all sit on my bed. "Oh...I don't know...maybe a nice new broom! Some clothes, Ooo maybe a magical tent!" I say with a laugh and take my hair brush off my desk.

"Lani? Who's that?" Evalen ask, pointing at the picture on my brush. "Oh...that's my mother...she was beautiful...wasn't she?" I say, looking at the image myself. "Yes! Very beautiful!" she says with a small smile.

We continue to talk about quidditch and the holidays:

"So next week the match against Slytherin and Gryffindor! Who's going to win?" Darcy laughs. "Slytherin for sure!" Evalen says with a broad smile. Darcy realizes something and laughs, "Lani you will have to verse James!" Evalen laughs too, "You have to catch the snitch before him!"

"I know, I will, don't worry!" I say. I put my brush down after I comb it through my hair. "Oh...I forgot! Lani, I was up at the owlery this morning and found this!" Evalen says passing me a letter. I take it and carefully open it. I read through it, my face falling with each line. "What is it?" Darcy asks, peering over my shoulder at the piece of parchment.

"Looks like me and Scorpius are going to be alone for about a week during the holidays...father is going away..."I say sadly, throwing the letter down on the floor. "Oh Lani...I would invite you over but my brothers...well you know my brothers..."Darcy says. I smile weakly at her, "Thanks Darcy...maybe we can stay over at the Potters...until father gets home..."I say, smiling.

Evalen nods, "And then we have the sleepover there so it should be fine!" We talk for ages until we get tired and fall asleep.

Ok so this chapter was a bit boring, I'm thinking of doing the quidditch game in the next on so who should win, Gryffindor or Slytherin?!
