Aunt..er..Uncle

"Welcome to my home." Krystal said.

Thankfully Kreacher was there to keep the portrait of Mrs Black covered up and quiet.

"This is our house elf Kreacher, Kreacher this is my boyfriend Cedric Diggory."

"You are of pure blood." Kreacher commented.

"Yes, my family has a long linage of wizards and witches."

"Kreacher's old master was kind of a blood status snob." Krystal whispered.

They made their way into the dining room and Krystal sat Cedric down.

"I have a confession to make." She said flatly, "there is no aunt."

"So you live here by yourself?"

"No, this is a friends house and he is like a father to me, we'll call him my uncle to make things slightly easier." Krystal said.

"That doesn't sound too bad." Cedric assured her.

"Alright, now my uncle he's is a normal sort of guy but he's been dealt a rough hand when it comes to life." Krystal told him.

Just then Sirius entered the room and Cedric jumped up from his seat and grabbed Krystal "stay behind me Krystal...you're Sirius Black!"

"I am."

"What the hell are you doing here, I will contact the minister and have you escorted back to Azkaban you monster."

Krystal walked out from behind Cedric and stood next to Sirius, "Cedric this is my uncle Sirius and this is his house."

"Krystal!" Cedric said holding his wand up at Sirius still "I know you're new to town and all but you have to know that this man escaped Azkaban."

"For a murder that he did not commit." She finished "yes I know all about the story of the murderous Sirius Black and I also know that none of it is true."

"How do you know?" Cedric asked skeptically.

"Because i'm a seer, I'm not trying to brag or anything but I can see both the past and the future, and I've seen Sirius' past."

"Prove it." He demanded.

"I know that in your fifth year you captained your team against Gryffindor in the first match of the school year. Originally, the match should have taken place between Gryffindor and Slytherin, but Draco had been injured. During the match, you and Harry both went after the Golden Snitch. But, Harry was startled by the presence of Dementors and fell from his broom. You caught the Golden Snitch, winning the game for your team."

"Everybody knows that." He stated.

"But not everybody knows that as soon as you realized what happened to Harry, you approached Oliver Wood and offered to replay the match. Only Wood declined your offer, knowing that you had won the match fair and square."

Cedric stayed quiet so she continued.

"I also know you were one of the first people to congratulate Harry on getting the new firebolt." Krystal said, "I also know that Mad-Eye Moony told you to take the egg into the bath with you an listen to it underwater."

"But I never told you that." He said slightly baffled as he began to lower his wand.

"You didn't have to, I told you I am a seer."

Cedric took his seat a little unsure of anything at the moment.

"Can I get you anything to drink?" Sirius asked.

Cedric simply sat there Un-responding.

"Two butter beers please." Krystal spoke for him.

Sirius left the room and Cedric snapped out of it.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked a little sadly. "Did you feel like you had to hide the truth from me."

"I wasn't allowed to tell anyone about Sirius, those were Dumbledore's orders." Krystal admitted, "as for my own secret, well to be honest it's a long story and it's quite scary really."

"So you said you can see the future, have you seen my future."

Krystal looked down and nodded. "Yes I had seen your entire future before I even met you, but back then you were a faceless name" she admitted, "But your entire future changed when you talked to me that day on the train, now that you're linked to me I can't see your future."

"Why?" He asked softly.

"Because I can not see my own future." She admitted. "I'm glad I can't see my future but I worry about not being able to see your future."

Her word were made up, but they rang with a scary truth.

"You make it sound like a bad thing." He said.

"I don't regret meeting you for one second, but that one action did change the course of a lot of things" Krystal filled him in, "nothing horrible has happened yet but so far I can't see as much of the future as I use to, just bits and piece when certain things take place."

"So is there anything else I should know" he asked as Sirius returned with the drinks.

"Yes, but I think someone else should probably tell you about that part." Krystal said taking a seat next to Cedric.

"I'll go and get him." Sirius offered as he left the room once more.

"I hope you don't hate me." Krystal said softly.

"I couldn't hate you ever, I'm a little frustrated that you kept all of this from me and the fact that you lied about your aunt but i'll get over it."

"Well you're about to find out everything little thing and I hope you still love me afterward." Krystal got out just as Dumbledore and Sirius walked back in.

The two sat directly across the table from Cedric and Krystal, Dumbledore folded his hands comfortably on the table before speaking. "Mr Diggory have you ever heard of The Order of the Phoenix?"

. . . . .

"So even at the end of school when you disappeared, you told us you were having private lessons with Dumbledore." Cedric stayed a little hurt.

"In Ms Montgomery's defense, this was a secret that wasn't hers to share, she had no choice but to stretch the truth." Dumbledore pointed out.

"Why weren't my parents original members?" Cedric asked sadly.

"Many wizards and witches did what they had to, to survive back then." Dumbledore told him, "and for a lot of people that meant laying low and staying under the radar of the death eaters. This doesn't mean they weren't brave they just simply wanted things to be as normal as possible in a not so normal time."

"Why don't you two go upstairs and relax before dinner." Sirius said gently.

Krystal got up and Cedric followed her silently all the way up to her bedroom.

"I feel like my head is spinning." Cedric announced.

"Here" Krystal said, "lay down on my bed."

Cedric did in fact lay down and the room was quiet for a few minutes as Krystal sat in the antique high back chair.

"Do you love me Krystal?" Cedric asked.

"Of course I do," Krystal responded without even having to think.

"Then no more secrets, if there's anything else please just tell me right now because I don't know if I can handle finding out anything else from someone else later on down the road."

"I saved your life once." She admitted. When Cedric didn't say anything she knew he was waiting for her to explain. "In the original future I had seen for you, you died in the maze at the Tri-Wizarding Tournament, Harry brought your body out of the maze and I watched as your father wept over your unmoving form."

She dried her cheeks as she had begun to cry at the thought of Cedric dead. She looked up and came face to face with a now kneeling Cedric and she finished.

"But I fell in love with you and I didn't care what I changed in the future, I just couldn't let you die, that's why I begged you not to enter your name but I was too late, so instead I revealed something to Dumbledore that set of a chain of event that prevented you from being in the place of your death and instead I sat next to your father and watched as you an Harry both emerged from the maze alive and well."

He grabbed her face and kissed her deeply. The door opened and someone said something about dinner but the two couldn't be bothered.

"I love you Cedric and I will do anything in my power to keep you safe." Krystal confessed.
