It's been a few weeks since George's birthday and it was the middle of March.
Ringo and George acted as if their almost kiss never happened. They didn't admit it to eachother but it was tearing them apart. Both of their feelings for eachother were getting stronger and stronger every day.

Ringo was getting so frustrated lately. First with his feelings for George but also the band. Well the band itself wasn't the problem but the fans were absolutely horrible to him. Once they found out that Pete had been fired and replaced they were resentful. The fans would always boo him and shout the same thing: Pete Forever, Ringo Never.

George was also upset at the way the fans were treating Ringo. He couldn't help but feel responsible for this whole mess. He was the one who hated Pete and wanted him to get fired. He was the one who convinced Ringo to join and helped him with his audition.
George saw how distressed Ringo was and it broke his heart. He could feel his heart shatter with every frown.
George couldn't take this any longer, he had to do something about it.

Tonight the Beatles had another show and the boys were backstage getting ready.
"So you lads know the set list?" John asked brushing his hair and looking in the mirror.
"John for the fifth time yes" Paul said folding his arms. "Sorry I'm just getting nervous"

Paul's expression softened. "You will do great. But not as great at me." He smirked. John groaned and playfully pushed him.

A couple minutes past and everyone was getting excited to preform. Well everyone but Ringo he was getting extremely anxious. His hands were clammy and his face was pale.
George and Ringo were sitting on a couch together and John and Paul were on the other side of the room in their own conversation.

George looked at Ringo and was immediately concerned.
"Ritchie are you alright?" He asked.

Ringo made eye contact with George and he could instantly see that his eyes were alarmed and bloodshot.
"Yeah I'm fine" Ringo looked away.

"Are you sure?" George asked softly and patiently.
"I said I'm fine!" Ringo snapped.

"Ritchie-" George tried to say but Ringo already stood up and walked toward the bathroom.

George sighed and he wondered if he should follow him or not. It had been like this for a couple of days now. In front of Ringo, George acted like he was alright with Ringo's mood but inside he was breaking down. He just wanted all of this to be over and to see Ringo's kind little smile again.

George decided to stand up and go find him. George walked into the bathroom and found Ringo splashing his face with water in the sink. Ringo wiped his eyes with his sleeve, sniffled, and looked George in the eyes.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you Geo." Ringo's voice cracked.
George frowned "Hey its okay I understand."

Ringo nodded and George saw small tears escape Ringo's eyes.
George walked over and pulled Ringo into a hug. "Everything will get better I promise. And don't ever forget that I'll always be proud of you."

Ringo put his arms around George's waist and his head on his chest. George rubbed his hands on Ringo's back in comforting circles. George rested his chin on Ringo's head.
"Everything will be okay"
Ringo's grip on George tightened and George kissed the top of Ringo's head.

George was not going to let this go on any longer.

Once the lads got on stage everything was going smoothly and they were preforming their songs perfectly. But about halfway through the show when the boys were getting ready for the next song something happened. It all seemed to happen in an instant.

There was this one fan. He was yelling nasty remarks at Ringo. George had enough and for once yelled and argued back. John, Paul, and Ringo told him to cut it out but George didn't listen at all. The two continued to argue back and forth yelling insults at eachother. George must have said something very offensive because the fan climbed up on stage and punched him.
Punched him staight in the eye.

The security quickly arrested the man and the show was immediately cut short.
"Are you insane?!" John yelled at George.
"At least I did something about all of this!" George argued.
"Oh you did something alright!" John yelled folding his arms.

"Stop arguing!" Paul said breaking up the fight.
"Arguing will get you nowhere. I understand that you're both angry and upset but it's not worth yelling at eachother."

John glared at George and walked away. Paul sighed "He'll come around just give him some time." Paul walked off to find John.

George sat down on the couch and put his head in his hands and sighed. Ringo sat down next to George without a word. They sat next to eachother in silence for minutes.

Ringo sighed and George looked at him disappointed at himself. Ringo shook his head. For a second George didn't know how Ringo was feeling. He didn't know if he was disappointed, angry, or proud.

The corners of Ringo's mouth turned into a small smile "Geo you should have warned me that when I met you I would be in for one hell of an adventure."

George just stared at Ringo and then his eyes flickered down to Ringo's lips.
Ringo let out a breathy laugh "Geo-"

George pressed his lips firmly against Ringo's closing the gap between them. The kiss was short because George got nervous and backed away.
Then to both of their surprise Ringo cupped his hands around George's cheeks and pulled George into a passionate kiss. George put his hands around Ringo's waist and Ringo moved his hands up to George's hair tugging it and messing it up slightly.

But it had to end at some point and they both needed to breathe. They both pulled away and rested their forehead against eachother's. Both of them were blushing and breathing heavily and their eyes were still closed.
George mumbled against Ringo's lips "I think our adventure is only beginning"
George once again joined their lips together in a kiss. Ringo smiled through most of it though. But George wasn't complaining because he was getting that smile he always wanted from Ringo.

Well there you go the moment you have all been waiting for.
