George cleaned off the table and looked outside the window.
"Ritchie come look outside!"
Everywhere you looked outside it was snowing. The snow didn't seem to be stopping either. It was just snowing harder and harder by the minute.
Ringo walked up to the window. "Oh God how will I get home? I mean there's no way I can walk home in this weather."
George thought about it. "You can just stay the night here"
"Really? It won't cause you any trouble?"
George smiled. "It's the least I can do after you helped with the driveway"
Ringo grinned "So what are we gonna do?I mean we are going to be stuck inside for awhile."
"Um do you want to play Monopoly?" George asked.
"Sure. But I have to warn you I'm pretty great."
George smirked "I'm better"
"We will see about that"
Ringo stayed in the kitchen while George walked to his bedroom to get the boardgame. However on his way the lights started to flicker. Oh great now the power is going to go out.
Sure enough on George's way to the kitchen the lights flickered and eventually went out leaving them in almost pitch black darkness.
"Ritchie where are you? I can't see you"
George felt his way into the darkness and found a closet that held a small lantern. He turned it on and walked to the kitchen.
George found Ringo sitting at the table with a pale face and wide eyes. He soon felt relief once the room lit up with George's lantern.
"You okay there?" George asked concerned. "Um yeah I just don't like the dark very much"
George frowned and sat right next to Ringo. "Why are you afraid?"
Ringo sighed "I just don't like the feeling of not knowing what monsters are out there"
George took Ringo's hand in his and rubbed his thumb in comforting circles. "Don't worry Ritchie I will always be here to explore the darkness with you"
Ringo looked into George's eyes. Even though it was still pretty dark even with the lantern, he could still see those big beautiful brown eyes. Ringo quit doing this to yourself, this is wrong.
But why does it feel right?
Ringo took his hand away much the their displeasure. "Um do you want to play Monopoly now?" Ringo blushed.
"Oh um yeah"
Even in the darkness they could still make out eachother's blushing face.
George and Ringo played Monopoly for a couple of hours. At one point Ringo was almost bankrupt and he landed on one of George's property's.
"Ha pay up Starkey!" George laughed.
"You know I'm broke!" Ringo folded his arms. "Oh I guess you have to file for bankruptcy" George tried to hide his laughs.
Ringo gave George his puppy dog eyes and pouted his lip acting like a child. He's so adorable.
George don't think like that!
"Please Geo"
George gave in "Fine you don't have to pay me this time"
"Yes!" Ringo cheered and the game continued.
The game eventually ended when Ringo had to file for bankruptcy. Since George won he made Ringo cook dinner but he still helped. And it wasn't really cooking though they were just making sandwiches.
Later the night the temperature went down. To say it was freezing was an understatement.
"Ritchie I could lend you one of my jackets"
Ringo blushed "I don't know Geo"
But George had already gotten a jacket for Ringo to wear.
"Um that's a little big for me"
George held the jacket up "I'm sure it's fine. Here I'll help you with it"
George went behind Ringo and held the jacket for him to put his arms through it. Then George stood in front of Ringo face to face with him. Their faces were only a couple inches away from eachother. George could see every shade of blue in Ringo's eyes.
The jacket had buttons so George help button them up. Ringo could easily have done it by himself but George wanted to do it. And Ringo wasn't objecting. George started at the bottom and worked his way up. The two were quiet trying not to act like George's hand were very close to Ringo's chest. By the end of it the two were a blushing mess.
George and Ringo awkwardly stood there until Ringo spoke up "I'm still cold"
Then they laughed trying to act like that never happened.
"I have some blankets. Do you want to sit on the couch?" Ringo nodded.
George and Ringo sat on the couch with the blankets over them. George sat on one end and Ringo on the other.
Ringo was wrapping the blankets around himself but he was still so very cold. His teeth were chattering and his cheeks were pink but that could of been from before.
George turned his head toward Ringo. "Ritchie I read an article were whenever penguins are really cold they huddle together for warmth. Do you want to-" By the time George was even finished Ringo was already snuggling himself in George's side.
Ringo put his head on George's chest and hung his arm loosely over his waist.
George blushed heavily but hoped Ringo would see it as the cold.
George grabbed a blanket and put it around them. Then George put his arm securely around Ringo.
With the both of them feeling warm and fuzzy inside they didn't feel cold anymore.
"Penguins are smart" Ringo whispered tiredly. George chuckled "Yeah they are"
"Um Geo thanks for letting me stay here" George smiled "No problem"
George looked over to the lantern sitting on a table next to them. George hesitantly turned it off.
"Are you scared Ritchie?"
Ringo's grip on George tightened. "No because I know that you're here with me to protect me from the monsters"
George blushed and smiled.
Ringo yawned and fell asleep with his head on George's chest. George soon followed.
But before they fell asleep they were thinking the same thing.
If having feelings for someone of the same gender is wrong then I don't want to be right.
Fun Fact about me I haven't experienced snow since I was only three months old. I live in a place where it's always hot even in the winter so yippee.
What is this snow that everyone speaks of? Where can I get it?
Whoop Well hope you enjoyed♡
