Naina's POV

After three tiring weeks, I was finally allowed to go out, but ofcourse with load of precautionary instructions and I have to keep this puff with me, just in case I have any difficulty in breathing.. Ugh..

I stepped inside the elevator and pressed the Ground floor button...

Because apparently staircase may exhaust me, Aaarrghhh. What crap is this..! 

Today I was going to meet my friends at the Clubhouse, I was so excited to see everyone especially, Him !

Well last month was new experience for me, like my stupid fight with older men, my illness, and Arjun, My long time enemy who was becoming my best friend now...

Why did I hate him anyway..? I don't really remember now why I disliked him... he's so sweet, caring, responsible person...

I can't believe I never noticed his qualities, All I did was to fight with him, even now we do argue, but it's different, I don't get angry on him now...

Last month changed my perspective towards him completely, he's really nice, not to forget incredibly handsome, he even took my side against Aditi...!

Naina control... just because he's your friend now, doesn't mean you start behaving like his fangirl..

I frowned at my thought and stepped out of the elevator...

And there he was, waiting for the elevator, Or I am just imagining him..? He smiled at me, and I just stared at him.. He wore a Royal blue t shirt and black three forth pants...

Wow, blue suits him... And he's not here Naina... you're hallucinating..

'Oooo.. Hello, Earth to Naina...' He shook me

I swear his mere touch was like electricity running inside me...

I stepped back, 'You are real...?' were the words came in my mind, also out of my mouth...

'I guess you are thinking about me these days, that's why you imagine me everywhere..' he smirked, Damn he looks good...

'Well can't help it, I have that charm, to make any girl fall for me..!' He continued blabbering..

'Haha.. In your dreams.. ' I roll my eyes

'Well.. I know girls even dream about me...! Don't they Naina...?' He smirked again

'How will I know...'

'It's hard to believe, but you're a girl too Naina... Just start behaving like one...' He mocked..

'Ha Ha, Very funny Arjun...!' I glared and he chuckled 'Please enlighten me why are you here...?'

'Well, I am Secretary's son, you see I can go anywhere...'

'Really...' I raise my brows

'Yes, Really, and besides it's my duty to check on the people who create nuisance in the society, And you My dear are one of them...' He said pointing towards me..

'Are you done...?' I reply bored and he laughed

'I came to accompany you to the clubhouse, Come everyone is waiting...' He smiled and put his hand forward..

I smiled and took his hand, 'That's very thoughtful of you... Thank you..!'

'I know I am brilliant...' He started his blabbering again

We walked in silence for a while, With him holding my hand, it was kind of hard to concentrate on anything else, but I decided to break the silence..

'Arjun...?'

'Yes..?'

'Thank you...' I smile

'You've already said that Naina...' he laughed

'No, not for today, but for the other day,  for taking my side.. when Aditi was making fun of me...' I said in a low tone..

His hold around my hand tightened..

'Aditi was way out of line that day' He gritted, rage clearly visible in his eyes 'I had to teach her a lesson, she cannot just make fun of your....'

'Vulnerability...' I cut in between, hearing this, his expression softened and he squeezed my hand..

'You are not vulnerable Naina, you just have a minor allergy, it can happen to anyone alright... Don't think you're going to die or something, I was there, when doctor informed us about your condition, It's you'll be fine...!!' He assured

I smiled at him, he tensed a bit, I don't know why... but then looked ahead, not leaving my hand

'As I said, always my pleasure' he pulled my cheeks... Again...  I rolled my eyes, he chuckled... 'Come...'

We reached the clubhouse, where everyone was busy in playing indoor games...

Arjun let go of my hand and smiled at me 'Go... They're waiting for you...'

'Aren't you coming..?' I ask

'I have to give these papers to the treasurer, You go, I'll join you guys in few minutes...' he said showing the red folder in his hand

'Okay...' I said and went inside

Sid spotted me... 'Naina...!!!' He yelled, so now, everyone's attention was on me..

I smiled and waved at them... 

'Hey everyone..'  I say and they gather around me, except Aditi and her friends, they didn't notice me...or pretended.. who cares....

'Hey Naina... How are you feeling kiddo ?' Jai asked ruffling my hair..

'Good...' I smile, readjusting my hair

'We missed you..' The twins exclaimed

'I missed you guys too... everyone of you...' I say

'Come, let's play....' Sid said

'Yeah Come on everyone....'  Jai said and we headed towards the games room

I moved around to find Radhika & Niki, just then they walked out of the restroom...

'OMG.. Naina...!!!!!' Niki squealed and ran towards me.

Both of them jumped on me at the sametime for a hug, however I lost the balance and fell on the ground, with them above me...

'Easy there girls...!' I laughed but both of them were horrified..

They quickly let go of me & started apologizing...

'Oooo Freeaakkk.. We're so sorry Naina... we didn't mean to....!' They began

'Shut up both of you, It's nothing, I missed you guys soooo much...!!!!' I exclaimed and was about to get up when someone held me by my shoulders and picked me up...

'I leave you for few minutes and you end up in a disaster...' He said angrily

'What.. No' I tried to defend and turned to him, Man he looked mad...!!

'We're so sorry Naina.. ' The girls apologized..

'C'mon man, it's not a big deal..'

'It is...' He gritted... 'Be careful with her, both of you' He said to them, they gulped and nodded, he turned to me and said

'And you, Stop being so clumsy...' He scolds

We stood there, where Arjun was lecturing me about how I should be careful, when Aditi approached us along with Gauri & Tanya, They ignored us and went straight to Arjun...

Aditi was teary eyed and spoke in her sugar coated tone...

'Hey.. Listen Arjun.. I'm so sorry,  I... I didn't mean to upset you... Please don't be mad at me...' she faked tears atleast I think they were fake, shouldn't she be  apologizing to me ? Huh... who cares anyways... let me see what he says... this is so fun...!!!

I rolled my eyes and he noticed this, and stiffled a chuckle... 

'See... your silence is killing me, You are... you are... special to me... what we have is special..!! Please....' she continued completely ignoring us

He raised his eyebrows at this...

'What we have is special....?  Can you please elaborate what is that special thing we have...?'  He said sarcastically...

Wow.. that was mean.... He surely is a heart breaker...

She looked embarrassed... 'I meant our friendship Arjun....' She said

'Please forgive me...' She held his hand..

And a pang of jealousy ran inside me, but why...? 

I looked away, because a part of me didn't want to stay there and watch him being persuaded by another girl...

You're mad Naina... he's just being nice to you.... he's not your property..

I turned and begin to walk away from there, but he held my hand, I felt butterflies in my stomach, what is this feeling...? I glanced at him, he looked directly into my eyes and said without even glancing at her...

'It's not me you should be apologizing to Aditi....' he said not leaving my gaze, I wasn't able to say anything...

Neither move nor even look away..it was like his dark brown eyes held mine.. It felt so good... his eyes are so....so...Dreamy....

After few moments of silence.. I finally heard Aditi's voice, I looked away from him.... Damn...

'I'm sorry Naina.. that day.. what I said was way out of the line... I shouldn't have said that... I just thought you behaved a bit...' she was about to say, but Arjun glared at her

'Go Ahead Aditi, I won't get an attack... I promise...' I smiled and she looked down..

'I...  I... am really very sorry..... I didn't mean to.. .' She stuttered

I felt really bad for her, though we didn't share a very great bonding right from childhood... but she's still my friend... Afterall she was trying to impress her crush.. may be in a very stupid way... but still...

I held her hand... 'Hey.. hey... don't apologize... I know... I behaved stupidly that day... You were right.. if it wasn't him, maybe I wouldn't be standing in front of you right now, possibly I would be dead or in coma by now...' I said..

'SHUT UP.....!!!!' Arjun and Radhika glared at me...

'What now...' I whined...

'Don't say stupid things Naina...' he grits

'So we're cool...?' Aditi asked and looked at both of us, Arjun Nodded..

'Absolutely...' I smiled and hugged her...

'Man I missed fighting with you....' I said and she chuckled..

'Let's go and play...' Radhika said and others followed her..

I didn't realize Arjun still didn't leave my hand, he was still looking at me intently... probably thinking of something...

'Hey ! Let's go...' I nudge him

'That was really sweet of you..' he smiled

'Err.. Thanks, we must not hold grudges for our friends'

'Yeah Right...' he chuckled.. 'I'm seeing a new Naina.. you know..'

'She was always there... But in a silent mode...' I laughed at my own stupid joke

'I like this new Naina...' he whispered and kissed me on the cheeks...

'Just need to work on her sense of humor...' he said and walked away...

I stood there rooted on my spot, did he just kiss me, I blushed...

Ooo My god...!! I'm having a Crush on Arjun Thapar...!!
