"Goodbye." {bwam} (I'm not leaving, don't worry)

Requested by TodaysDreamCatcher

"Thomas, stop!" Maliyah mumbled against her boyfriends lips. Thomas whined in annoyance but pulled away anyway. Maliyah looked at her boyfriend and placed a chaste kiss to his lips before getting up. She walked to the bathroom a checked herself in the mirror to fix anything before waking out. Her dark skin glowed with happiness and her brown eyes shone with love.

Maliyah's parents were in the room just across from them, neither of them knew their daughter was dating Thomas. They just assumed the two were playing video games or doing homework like they usually do, not innocently kissing on their couch.

"Are you hungry?" Maliyah called out into the house, waiting for someone to answer. Her parents responded with quiet 'no's and went back to doing whatever they were doing. Thomas didn't answer but followed the slightly shorter girl into the kitchen. Maliyah rolled her eyes when she felt Thomas wrap his arms around her waist but let him hold her as she made some pasta.

"You're so beautiful." He breathed out, nuzzling his head in her neck. She giggled feeling his short, dark brown hair tickling her neck and continued cooking. "I mean it." He said turning her around to face him.

He carefully shuffled them away from the stove and looked into her eyes. Maliyah's heart stopped beating in her chest from the look Thomas was giving her. His brown eyes filled with admiration and joy as he gripped her waist tighter. Without thinking she pressed her lips to his and closed her eyes. Her arms moved from her sides to his neck as he deepened the kiss. The two stood in the kitchen kissing, completely oblivious to the water that was boiling over the side of the pot.

"Maliyahs I think there is to much wat- oh my!" Maliyah's mother squealed as she walked into the kitchen. The couple broke apart and jumped away from each other, startled by Maliyah's mums shouting.

"Oh god, mom." Maliyah started but was quickly cut off by her father walking in the room.

"What's the problem?" He asked placing a hand on the small of his wife's back. Maliyah groaned as her mother started exaggerating the story.

"I found this boy practically forcing our darling daughter into something. I just came to check up on the food she was making and I found the two kissing."

"What!" Her father roared which caused Maliyah to shrink back and shuffle closer to Thomas.

"Daddy, it's not like that." She pleaded grabbing Thomas' shaking hand. "We're dating, he's not forcing me to do anything." Maliyah could see her mom roll her eyes as her dad started shouting again.

"Even worse, you are to young to date and worse is that it's with him!" He dad yelled pointing at Thomas who was nervously running his hands through his hair. Maliyah furrowed her eyebrows and opened her mouth to talk but Thomas beat her to it.

"With all due respect sir, but what do you mean by that?" Thomas asked confused.

"Maliyah should be with another African, not you." Maliyah's mother scoffed, sending Thomas a dirty look. Thomas and Maliyah stood speechless hands gripped even tighter than before. Maliyah ever knew her parents could be such monsters.

"You will leave my house now!" Maliyah's father commanded to Thomas. Thomas gulped and nodded before turning towards Maliyah. He grabbed her other hand in his free one and leaned down so their foreheads were touching.

"I'm doing this for you." He mumbled pecking her lips lightly. "We should take a break." He sighed.

"No, no, please Tom." She whimpered kissing him repeatedly hoping he's ours change his mind. A few tears fell down both of their faces as they cherished their last time together. He kissed her tears away and gave her a sad wobbly smile. He looked at her sadly and placed one last passionate kiss on her lips before walking towards the front door. He turned to face Maliyah's parents who had smug looks on their faces and smiled weakly at them.

"Goodbye." He mumbled stepping out into the streets.
