..."Woo-hoo!!" Aaron whooped as he shot past me on his hovershield. The wind he created messed my hair up, making a few tendrils come loose. But I didn't mind.

"Hey Aaron, wait up!" I yelled, running after him. He turned and lowered himself slightly, holding out his hand.

"Grab on!" he shouted over the gale. I reached up and clasped his hand.
I have to admit, a blush crept across my cheeks, filling in the spaces between my freckles. I sighed and tried to ignore it as Aaron pulled me up.

"Wanna see something cool?!?" Aaron grabbed both my hands, holding me steady.

"Sure!!" I yelled back.

"Hold on!!" Aaron turned around to face the front as I wrapped my arms round his waist.

We shot over houses, meadows, and people, whooping with delight at the thrill of flying at such a speed. People pointed and stared at us, but we didn't care. We just flew on and on and on...

Finally, after 15 minutes, we landed on a grassy bank bordering a river. Silver fish rode downstream, birds chirped a love song in the trees, and I even stopped to appreciate how cute the flowers looked.

"This is a lovely place," I had to raise my voice above the weird rushing sound. "Shame about the noise...."

I had turned around to face Aaron properly, and finally caught sight of the raging, yet awesome waterfall! It was so...elegant. Majestic. I look Aaron in the eye, and said,

"Why did you bring me here?"

Aaron fidgeted. Was he blushing?.... I wasn't sure. Then he lurched forward...

And our lips connected.

Aaron pulled away. "Macy, I brought you here because waterfalls are beautiful...just like you. I wanted to show you this, because it's almost as beautiful as you."

I smiled at Aaron. "Are you saying you love me?"

Aaron smiled back. "Yes. Why?"

"Because I wanted to let you know...the feeling is mutual."
