She woke up the next morning to see a nurse standing over her. She jumped out of fright her hair getting in her eyes.

"Sorry to scare you miss I'm just checking up on you." The nurse said trying to calm her down. But to no avail, her breathing got faster as thoughts like 'how long has he been here?' and 'has he been watching me all night?'

"What are you doing?" She said a little louder than she intended. She waking up her roommate with the shout. She heard a groan as her roommate turned over in her covers.

"I'm here to check on you every 15 minutes to make sure you're ok." He said calmly.

'Alright so to keep a low profile I need to not be as loud obviously. I also need to make sure I'm doing ok enough so they will let me out of here so I can escape.'

"Miss are you ok" This snapped Amize back into reality.

"Yes, I'm good sir," She said looking at him and nodding. He smiled at her and walked out of the room.  Music started to play at the nurses' station. She walked out in her pants and long sleeve turtle-neck with her bare feet. She walked up to the nurses' station breathing still fast from that scare earlier. Her hair was a mess from the stressful night of tossing and turning with no sleep added on top of that.

"What does the music mean?" She asked the first nurse she saw.

"It means you can start to get up and get ready."

"Oh ok where do I get the things to get ready I'm afraid I don't have anything."

"Oh, sweetheart we made you a bin." The nurse said taking the bin and handing it to her.

"Thanks, miss." She walked away from the nurses' station and took the bin back to her room.

Her roommate was awake and welcomed Amize with open arms.

"So you're new here? My name is Maggie."

"Y-yeah I guess."

"That's so cool I have not had a roommate in a week. I'm leaving this place in 3 days btw."

"How do you leave this place?"

"You do as your told and tell the doctors the truth and you will be out in about 10 days."

'This has to be a mistake 10 days that's way too long to be away from Crylline' She thought

"Thanks for letting me know." She paused

"Could you show me the ropes because I'm new here"

"Of course"

'This is going to be the start of a long stay here.' She sighed.
