Spoilers for Danganronpa

I completely forgot the tie mechanic because it never happens so here I am with a horrible preposition.

What if you had two mock executions for both parties?

Like the blackened and the framed spotless would be pulled into different scenarios where they'd have to prove their innocence while also trying not to die.

For example if there was a tie between Gonta and Kokichi they'd have their own little trial and the rest of the class can throw out accusations that they have to disprove and if there are any that they cannot disprove then they get one step closer to dying like Gonta getting tied to the pole if there's a claim that he cannot avoid

As the protagonist you would have to choose which one you wanna accuse and what to accuse them with, you also have sway everyone else to stop shooting at the one you think is innocent or whatever

After you (hopefully) come to the correct conclusion they get sent into what would be the actual execution except one (the one you didn't choose as the blackened) malfunctions and saves the person's life while the other one dies.

You'd still have the whole "you all die if the blackened gets away" thing but now its more directly your fault if you lose it
