[f/n] BackStory Part: 2

"Drink it you little beast,"
the rogue ninja scolded.
Grabbing a fist full of my [h/c] hair and forcing my head back, as he poured a cold thickly liquid in my mouth. The taste of a mixture of milk and copper overwhelmed me. I struggled slapping the cup away, along with what was left of the disgusting drink.
"You little ungrateful brat."
He yanked my hair harshly outwards, throwing me down on the spilt red liquid that covered the ground.
"Lick it up like the animal you are,"
he mumbled in a disgusting tone. Even in the dim moonlight I could make out his cold dark eyes peering down at me.
"So what next?"
He questioned another ninja standing close by holding a open scroll.
He went back to looking it over after the brief distraction, quietly reading it to himself before giving a answer.
"From what I can understand, it says they have to experience a great tragedy of some sort."
He rolled the scroll back up, before safely tucking it away out of sight.
"Well how the hell are we gonna accomplish that, when all of her love ones are already dead,"
the previous rogue ninja complained in annoyance. He placed a foot on the back of my head, steadying himself as he grinned my face against the ground. I let out a grunt of discomfort, but refused to give him the satisfaction of fighting back.
"What a waste you ended up being. Even after sparing your life that night and taking care of you over this past year. Ugh...what a let down."
His voice was filled with disappointment, but I didn't care. In fact I didn't care about anything anymore. I just laid there, hating the world and all the people in it. A stern unfamiliar voice drifted from the ominous surrounding forest.
"What are two rogue ninjas doing just outside my village?"
The mysterious voice from the darkness demanded. Both of the rogue ninjas stepped backwards as the fear of being discovered masked their faces, giving my battered head relief. I shifted myself up into a kid w sitting position, glaring into the darkness.
"I asked y'all a question,"
the darkness shouted out in a fierce tone.
Before the trembling rogue ninjas could even give a answer, a tall yellow haired ninja emerged from the shadows. His long white cloak hovering just off the ground and flames nipped at it's bottoms edge.
I don't know if it was the recent trauma to my head or if I was just imagining things, but even in the darkness he stood out clear as day. It was like a light shrouded him, even from the night.
"Shit, it's the fourth Hokage. Let's clear out before the Ambu show up."
I heard one of them order.
"What about the girl?"
Another one asked confused.
"Leave her, she useless right now anyway."
They scattered off into different directions in hopes to confuse their attackers. I expected the yellow haired man to give chase after them, leaving me behind like everyone else. Instead he cautiously approached, taking a kneeling position to become eye level with me. He had the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen.
"Are you ok? Did they hurt you?"
He asked genuinely concerned. I gave a shy nod no, not wanting to break eye contact for even just a second. He gave a soft smile that made my heart flutter just a little.

"Good, now could you tell me your name."

I felt my cheeks get flushed a little from his kindness. I twirled my thumbs together, needing to find a distraction from this new strange feeling.
"It's [f/n]," I whispered.
His soft smile turned into a closed eyes wide smile as he spoke.

"Nice to meet you [f/n]. I'm Minato Namikaze."

I could feel myself smiling back at the kind stranger.
Suddenly a young gray haired ninja appeared next to Minato. A mask rested just above the brim of his nose, covering the lower part of his face. He didn't even bother to acknowledge my presence.
"They have appeared to have gotten away sensei."
Even though he appeared to be around the same age as me he didn't come off that way. He seemed way more mature and independent than I could ever be.
Minato face turned serious at the young boys news.

"I'll add extra security around the village perimeter to be on the safe side. Luckily we seemed to have foiled their plans for now."

As he spoke the last line Minato starred straight at me, his beautiful soft blue eyes were now hardened and cold. His smile had been replaced with a thin line of frustration. His brows narrowed together causing a couple wrinkles to appear on his forehead. I had never once experienced what fear was, but in that moment cold chills raced up my spine and I felt myself tremble. My primal instincts told me to obey this man, fear this man, don't turn my back on him or try run.

"Let's head back Kakashi. Sitting around out here won't bring us any closer to what those rogue ninjas was doing out here."

Kakashi nodded in recognition. I think Minato knew I was to scared to move and to confused on the subject at hand to speak. He picked me up, cradling me softly in his arms before darting off behind the young silver haired ninja. I felt a sudden wave of tiredness wash over me, I tried to fight it but it was futile. I took in one more look at the handsome yellow haired ninja before I drifted off to sleep.
