Chapter: 3
Reader Pov.
I entered the crowded village of Yagukura. The air was filled with the busy noise of villagers, an travelers much like myself. Shops of all kinds lined the streets and people lined up to see what they offered.
I immediately felt out of place. Anytime I ever left the village I had itachi with me, keeping a protective strong arm wrapped around my waist as if daring someone to touch what was his. I took a gulp hoping to swallow down some of my fear into the pit of my stomach and carefully made my way through the crowd on shaky legs. My eyes danced from roof top to roof top, for any sighting of Sasuke hawk. For a second I was pretty sure I caught a glimpse of it flying deeper into the village. I took after it's fast fading trail. I dashed down a long heavily shaded dead end alleyway that I swore I saw it fly over as I reached the end.
"Back to the beginning."
I mumbled out loud, with a disappointing sigh. I had been so caught up in the case that I didn't even realize I was being followed. I sensed their chakra ten seconds before I actually saw them. Three middled age ninjas jumped down from the roof tops directly above blocking my path. They didn't look very menacing, but their chakra told a whole other story. Their looks was nothing special worth mentioning over. Bland facial features and that overly used short brown haircut that most shinobi sported these days. My gut instinct also screamed something wasn't right with this picture.
"Now, what's a pretty young woman like you doing down here in a place like this on your own?"
The middled ninja asked, trying to coat his evil intentions with kind words. He was doing a rather poorly job of it too, if you asked me.
"I got a little turned around, but I was just leaving."
I responded, my eyes darting from Ninja to Ninja. Never resting more than a second on each one.
"Don't fret your pretty little head dear. We can help you find your way. Can't we boys."
The middled ninja asked, his sly tongue spilling nothing but deceit. The other two ninja nodded their heads in agreement letting out snake hissing chuckles.
"No thank you, I'm sure I can find my own way."
His face twisted with displeasure and the other two ninja's chuckling fell silent. I could feel my heartbeat speeding up as I felt the unavoidable fight coming my way.
"Now, why did you have to go and make things complicated doll?"
His words came out ice cold, he no longer felt the need to sugar coat them. My body coiled at the sound of his words. Ready to strike.
"Take her, and try not to ruff this one up as bad as the last one. We lost 20% percent, because you two dummies broke her hand and gave her a busted lip."
He commanded, waving his hand in the air with closed eyes, like he was to good to look upon his dirty work.
"It wasn't our fault. She put up a hell of a fight."
The ninja on the left whined in frustration, causing the middle ninja eyes to flutter back open as he back hand the whiny ninja so hard I'm pretty sure he saw stars.
"Did I ask for an excuse....NO. Now get the damn woman."
He shouted, angrily pointing his finger in my direction. Sending the two ninjas charging towards me. The whiny one was the faster one, so he reached me first. I grabbed his out stretched arm as it grasped at me, slinging him into the alley wall with a heavy thud. His partner raced to his rescue only to receive the same punishment. I admired their determination, but they was no match when it came to speed. They recovered quickly and tried a different approach. Each one being sure to attack me simultaneously this time. I crouched down getting ready to leap straight up dodging their attack, but as my feet came off the ground I felt something wrap around my ankles and yank me crashing face first back to the hard ground. I winced, propping myself up on my hands as my eyes followed a chakra chain leading from my body to the middle ninja hands.
"Let's see you get out of this bitch."
He gloated, giving the chain a quick yank dragging my body harshly across the ground towards him. I swung my arms trying to lash out at him like a wild animal that had it's paw caught in a trap.
"Oh man, we got us a feisty one here boys."
He laughed, making the chains slither up and wrapping around my entire body constricting me tightly. Before reaching down to grip my face with a free hand, bringing it inches away from his.
"Looks like we'll need to break that out of you, before we sell you to the highest bidder."
He whispered softly in my ear, causing his hot breath to tickle my ear and my body to shudder. I knew exactly what he meant as he spoke those words. I panicked, planting a head butt directly to his face. I heard a bone crushing sound, followed by a scream of agony.
"You broke my nose you crazy bitch."
He whizzed through his broken nose, launching me against the alley wall. Holding his nose with both hands. He gripped his free cosmetic surgery thanks to me, before turning his rage back on me.
"I'll kill that little bitch."
He spat, charging towards me as he noticed my face held a smile at his pain. The other two ninjas made an attempt to intervene blocking his path.
"Boss, you can't kill her. We need her."
He thrusted his arms between them, parting them like new chop sticks, looming over me with pure intent to harm.
"Oh I'm not gonna kill her. That would be to easy, but she'll sure as hell wish for it after I'm done with her."
He reassured them.
"Step away from her."
A loud familiar voice boomed, causing the ninjas to flinch, and look frantically for the stranger behind the voice. Finally discovering him at the opening of the alleyway. Sasuke towered in the entrance of the alleyway giving the ninjas a disapproving glare. My heart skipped a beat seeing him standing there. I wasn't sure if it was because of my current situation or just seeing him period.
"Who the hell are you?"
The middle ninja asked, looking slightly amused and feeling just as half cocked as his nose was.
"Sasuke."
I whispered, wiggling a little in a futile attempt to loosen my captor's chains. The middle ninja eyes shifted to me for a split second after hearing Sasuke name.
"Sasuke huh..well Sasuke, this here woman belongs to me now. So if you want her back you gotta pay."
He yanked on the chains again, forcing them to constrict even more. I let out a low scream of pain.
"You ugly bastard."
I cursed, out loud to anyone willing to hear it.
Sasuke tensed taking a step forward as my screams filled the alleyway.
Sasuke Pov.
"I'll make them pay for putting their fucking filthy hands on her."
I thought, reaching my right hand behind my back and clasping the handle to my katana. I didn't want to kill these ninjas and I knew I shouldn't, but I could feel the rage coursing through my body. I fought for control to keep it from taking over.
"Kill them...kill everyone of those fuckers."
My bad subconscious started to mumbled, before letting it turn into a battle cry. My control snapped after hearing my bad subconscious words of war. I felt everything go into slow motion as I unsheathed my katana, giving the blade a quick spin. It was like watching a movie in slow motion, too slow actually, as I sick'ed my katana on them. They tried to fight back, but it was foolish. My katana sliced into each one like wet tissue paper, sending blood splatters everywhere. It felt like it took me a century to mow down the three ninjas, but in reality it took me 3 seconds. A second for each one. The poor bastards never stood a chance. There bodies hovered in the air for a minute before realizing they were dead, collapsing to the ground. I looked down to [f/n], she was shaking like a leaf on a windy day. The scent of iron and blood overwhelmed the alleyway. I know
[f/n] had to be getting the worst of it though. Even as skilled as I am, I still couldn't manage to keep any from getting on her. Blood drenched her beautiful [h/c] hair, turning it a blood stained red. She didn't speak, she didn't move, she barely breathed. The chakra chains had disappeared along with their user's soul. I bent down running my arm just beneath her butt, so her legs faced inwards towards me, allowing her chest to fall against mine and her head rested on my shoulder. I felt the warmth of her right arm as she reached up securing it around my neck for extra support. I dashed up onto the rooftops leaving the murder scene behind and all it's bad memories, as I headed back to the hotel resort with [f/n]. I stayed along the roof tops, before finally ducking down into the private hot spring that connected to my room. Cost me a extra two Hundred a night, but after this I think it was well worth it. By not having to explain why the both of us supported blood on our clothes and hair. I gently placed [f/n] down, making sure she had her footing in place before completely letting go.
"I'll leave you here to clean up and return back shortly to check in on you."
She clung to my empty arm sleeve before I could even so much as to turn half way around.
"Please don't leave me."
She whispered so faintly, I almost didn't catch it. I pulled her into a tight embrace, her delicate arms doing their best to completely make their way around my whole body, before locking her hands together.
"I'll never leave you as long as you don't want me too."
I confessed to her, before thrusting her startled body backwards into the hot spring. Lashing out towards anything to grab onto to stop her slow descend, but only caught air. Her face showed shock, then betrayal as her body hit the hot water sinking under it's steamy waters. Leaving a bloody ripple ring in her stead.
