Trying to forget someone who you love

Is like trying to remember someone you've never met.

Especially if it's your first love.

It has been a while since they have seen each other. That really hurt the both of them. People say that detectives shouldn't have a lover, they should only focus on their job, but that's not how it shoul be. Even the world's greathes detective can love and needs to be loved.

Kokoro was Ryuzaki's first love and last one as well.They met at school and since then she couldn't get out of Lawliet's mind. He thought of confessing his love to her,but his job stopped him from doing that. He had new cases to solve and that really annyoed him. For the first time he didn't wanted to work. Cocoa also helped for the Kira case. L didn't believed that he would see her again,but it happened,they met again. She was the only thing that kept Ryuzaki going. He wanted to solve the Kira case for her and maybe then he could confess to her.

Kokoro didn't showed much love emotions,just like L. But he didn't know if she was just shy or didn't like being around him. That was really bothering him,but he promissed himself that he'll find out the truth and how she really feels about him. They weren't that far from solving the case,at least that was what they thought. Lawliet couldn't wait to confess,but he had a really strange feeling that something would go wrong. He was feeling like he didn't had much time here,on the Earth.

-'I should tell her while i'm still alive...Before i become one of Kira's victoms.'-Those were the only thoughts that ran through L's head. He had to make a decision.

-"I really should enjoy my last days here.."-That was the sentance that made him decide to talk with Kokoro.

Even though he hated mobile phones he had to have one. And in it of course was Cocoa's number and only hers. He sent her a message that said that he wants to see her.

She replied.-"-Sure,tell me the place."- After the detective read the message a small smile appeared across his lips. He told her to meet him at the restourant 'Epinal' in an hour. So that's what exactly happened. Ryuzaki got ready and Kokoro did the same. She put a cute purple dress and black heels. This sounded like a date to her,that's why she dressed up other than usual.

L got there faster and earlier,he didn't wanted to keep his lady waiting. When Cocoa arrived at the restourant she entered it and looked around.It was indeed a fancy restourant,she really liked it. She could easily see on which table Ryuzaki was sitting. A bright blush appeared across her cheeks. Kokoro walked to the table and smiled shyly at him.

-"Good evening."-The girl greeted him and sat down on the chair that was opposite L.

-"I'm glad you came Cocoa~"-he spoke and smiled at her. She giggled a bit,looking at the male.

-"I was really surprise that you invited me on..a date? Is there something important that you have to tell me ..Um,maybe something about the Kira case..?"-She started asking. Kokoro trying her best not to blush,but she couldn't help it,she almost always blushed when she was around Lawliet. When L heard the word 'date' a red line appeared on his face,he was also blushing. She had never seen him blush before,so it was really strange for her seeing that.

-"N-No...It's not because of the case or anyhting like that. I wanted to talk about something else...something that we have never talked before. This might sounds strange to you,but i must tell you this..."-He started expalining himself,trying not to get nervous. Kokoro was getting really excited,it was awkward for her as well.-'Something that we haven't talked about before..? What might that be..?'-She asked herslef in her mind,she got nervous as well.

Kokoro remained silent,she didn't knew what to say or do. L noticed that she was getting nervous too and that really made him happy and got his hopes up.

-"I always wanted to tell you this ...Since the first time we've met,i started feeling really strange. I couldn't look at you with the same eyes i look at everyone else. I also started acting strange and worried myself about that,but with how the time passed,i realized what is really happening to me."-He spoke in a soft tone,locking his eyes with hers.

Kokoro shivered. Now she was totally frozen. Her cheeks were now dark red.-'C-Can he feel the same way that i feel?..'-She thought.

L leaned on the table,now their faces were really close. Their noses were almost touching. Ryuzaki placed a hand on her cheek and smirked,closing his eyes. He was confident,he wasn't nervous anymore.

Once their lips met she closed her eyes,enjoying their long,deep and passionate kiss. They didn't actually care if someone was watching them or not,they were just enjoying their moment.
After a few minutes the kiss ended. L pulled away and opened his eyes,looking at his love. Kokoro opened her eyes as well and smiled at him.

-"I sill love you..Cocoa"-He said.

-"L..I always loved you and i also still do."-She replied,still blushing.

This night was really perfect for them. They were together every single minute and made love all night. To be honest,nothing better could've happened to Lawliet than this. He was finally together with his first love and she was his last as well. That night changed everything in his life. The feeling that he had about dying was wrong,but it helped him get with Kokoro. He did solve the Kira case and soon the both of them got engaged and then married. Ryuzaki and Kokoro lived a really happy life together,they even formed a family and had kids. It turned out that a detective can handle more than one job-He was also a housband and a father.


If you only keep trying you'll reach your point and what you've wanted.

A person only needs faith,hope and love to stay alive.

Without those 3 things,a person's body can be alive,but not his soul~
