Gray POV

Laxus carried Natsu inside and put him in front of Gramps. Gramps talked to Natsu. "Natsu my child. I'm glad your back. Are you alright?" I saw that Natsu responded but the guild was so rowdy that I didn't hear what he said. After that moment my heart sank. I saw that Natsu collapsed in front of me. Just like his legs were made of jelly. Everyone yelled "Natsu!!" I ran as fast as I could towards him. I hold his head in my lap and the group and gramps were very close as well. I was so worried. "Natsu please wake up. Respond to me." I said at the brink of tears. "Wendy what's wrong with him?" She looked panicked and did her magic to look what's wrong. Gramps looked worried as well. Actually everyone looked worried. Gramps then yelled "Everyone give them some space." The guild member shoved a little backwards. "Gray carry him towards the infirmary." "Yea gramps." I did what I was told and Wendy was following after me as well as gramps and the others from the mission. I heard gramps yelling "Only these people get in the infirmary. Please wait outside the rest of you." I heard all kind of noises outside. But I couldn't care anymore I was scared and worried. 

When I put him on the bed and sat beside him the tears started to come. Wendy was doing her magic. I hold his hand in the hope he woke up very soon. Gramps walked towards me and said "Gray or someone can anyone explain what just happened out there? Why did he collapse?" I couldn't react at that moment but Erza did. "Master, Natsu was very nervous to come back to the guild. The specific reason I don't know of. But he wasn't responding at any of us the whole trip towards the guild. He froze in front of the guild and we had to take him with by force to get him inside." "With force?" Laxus looked guilty. He rubbed the back of his head. "Yea old man, I had to punch him in the gut so I could carry him inside." Gramps sweat dropped. Erza continued "Well after that we came inside, I believe he was overwhelmed with all of it inside the guild. And then he collapsed. The reason of that I don't know that. Wendy do you know?" "Well he is breathing heavy and sweating a lot. He was indeed panicking in front of the guild but inside as well. I believe he had a panic attack." I was still crying. "Wendy why would he get a panic attack? This isn't like Natsu." Wendy looked at the floor. "I don't know Gray-san, Natsu-san isn't like himself lately. Maybe he was scared or something, I don't know." Gramps sighed. 

"Gray-san I heard him say something at gramps before he collapsed." "You could hear that Wendy?" Gramps asked. The other dragonslayers were shocked as well. "You all couldn't?" She looked towards the other dragonslayers who both shook their heads. "So only I heard. He said this to gramps. It was quite soft though. 'Gramps. Loud.' Only those two words." Everyone looked confused. "So he probably did mean by that that he was indeed overwhelmed with the sounds of the guild? I guess." Erza said. "I believe he meant that." Gramps said. "What can we do gramps?" I asked. "We have to wait till he wakes up. Make sure he doesn't leave. Also Gray I want to know what you're response towards Natsu was and what you're going to do with Juvia." I didn't expect to hear this question so early. I gulped. "I love Natsu, that's what I told him and what I feel." I sighed again. "I will tell Juvia this honestly as well, but now I don't want to leave his side." "I understand. Please take care of him. You all will take turns to watch Natsu with Gray as well." They all nodded. "I will have the first watch with Gray-san." Wendy said. The rest nodded again and left the room. 

Wendy took a chair to side beside me. "Are you alright Gray-san?" "Yea kind of. Can't you do something for him right now Wendy?" I looked at her. She looked guilty and looked towards her lap. "No Gray-san, I can't help him right now. He has to wake up with his own power. I made sure he didn't get a fever or his condition of breathing wasn't getting worse. He is stable now. There is nothing more I can do for Natsu-san. I wish I could." I ruffled her hair. "Thanks Wendy." She smiled lightly. Then Natsu was searching with his arms for something. I tried to calm him down by pushing the arm downwards lightly. At that moment Natsu took a hold of my hand and was at rest again. He had a firm grip on my hand. I shed some more tears. "He is happy he has you by his side, Gray-san. I can tell." "How?" I said between sobs. She smiled lightly. "I believe he was panicking again because he thought you weren't near him. Now that he felt you he calmed down, Gray-san." I smiled between tears. "You think so Wendy." She nodded. I was happy to hear that. 

Days after day went by. All of the members of the mission group went by. But Natsu wasn't waking up. I hadn't left his side. Because when I did for a minute he would trash around and search for my hands again. I was a little glad he did. But I was still worried about him. After a week when I was asleep I felt something shift on the bed. "Mmm. Erza five more minutes." I said. Someone giggled. "Okay sleeping beauty sleep a minute of five more." That person said. I was glad I could sleep some more. Then I realized that I recognized that voice. It could only belong to one person so I awoke startled. There he was, Natsu sitting in his bed smiling lightly. I teared up again. "N-Natsu." "Yea." He smiled. I hugged him. He was clearly shocked. "I was so worried." I said crying. "S-sorry. It's okay Gray. I'm fine." I looked at his face. We were in our moment when I heard the guild getting rowdy again and some running towards the infirmary and indeed at the entrance the whole group stood there. Erza, Wendy, Gajeel, Laxus and gramps. Lucy was looking behind the corner with Happy on her head. Happy was so glad he could see Natsu that he flew towards him. I let go of the hug. Happy flew towards Natsu wailing "Nasshuuu!!!." I was smiling lightly. Natsu looked shocked.

Natsu POV
I woke up with something soft on me. I saw it was black raven hair that only can be of one person. The love of my life. So I started caressing it again. He felt it and woke up because of my caressing. He responded with "Mmm. Erza five more minutes." This sounded something I would say not something Gray would say. So I giggled. My throat felt sore. I was wondering how long I was out. I only remember the panic attack. I thought I should respond to the remark Gray made. "Okay sleeping beauty sleep a minute of five more." My voice sounded a little off, but I didn't care. I was still caressing his hair. After a little he jumped up, he was wide awake. He looked towards me. He finally realized it was me he started crying I wondered why. "N-natsu." "Yea." I responded and smiled at him. He attacked me with a hug. He then spoke again "I was so worried." He was still crying. I still didn't know why. "S-sorry. It's okay Gray. I'm fine." I looked at his face. I was still looking at Gray when I heard many people run upstairs. Suddenly at the entrance there stood many guild members. The group that came to get me were inside. Lucy with Happy on her head were behind the corner at the doorpost like many more. Gray let go of me. Happy flew towards me wailing "Nasshuuu!!!." I was shocked to see so many people at the entrance. I opened my arms lightly so he could hug me. I was glad Happy was happy to see me again.

I was getting nervous, so many people were standing there. What were they planning. I was petting Happy at that time, Gramps came walking towards me. I gulped. "Natsu, are you alright?" I just nodded. I wasn't ready to speak up. The sound of all of them were getting louder again. I put Happy on my lap and putting my hands on my ears to block out some sound. Gray looked towards me. "Natsu, are they to loud?" I looked shocked he understand and I looked at him and nodded. Gramps heard as well. He nodded that he understood. "Can everyone leave the room except Gray, Wendy, Erza, Happy, Gajeel and Laxus." Gramps shouted. I cringed. It was loud how Gramps yelled. I saw Lucy kind of disappointed and leave with the rest. I took the hem of the shirt of Gray and spoke quietly "Can you ask to gramps that Lucy can return?" He looked shocked. "Gramps, Natsu wants Lucy to stays here." Lucy heard that and she turned around. Gramps walked towards the door and spoke to Lucy about it. She teared up. "Is it really okay Natsu?" she asked. I nodded. She came inside and closed the door. "Can you all speak more quiet, the sounds are very loud for me at the moment." I said. They all nodded. "Natsu, is everything alright with you?" Gramps asked while walking closer towards me. "I'm fine, getting better. How long was I out for?" Gray looked towards the floor so did Wendy. "You were out for a week." Erza remarked. I was shocked really a week, oh my god.

"It's alright Natsu." I flinched. "Why aren't you angry at me?" I asked afraid of the reaction they would give. "Why would we be angry Natsu?" Lucy asked. I didn't understand why she asked such an obvious question. I made myself smaller hidden under my arms. "Because I left the guild." Erza sighed. "Do you really believe that we would be angry?" Erza said. I dare to look through my arms. Gray put his hand om my shoulder. I looked at him. "Natsu, we aren't angry with you. I just want to know if you're alright. You collapsed a week ago, just out of nowhere." Gramps said. "I-I don't know." I said unsure. "What do you mean child?" I gulped. "I don't know if I'm alright in the sense I'm my old self. Because I'm not my old self." "I understand. Do you know the reason you collapsed?" he asked. I took my arm beside me, I understood they wouldn't harm me. Foolish of me. Gray nodded so that I would continue. "I was overwhelmed with all the sounds, everything sounds very loud to me. I was panicking. I can't handle the whole guild jet." I said looking guilty at my lap. 

The room went silent until Gajeel broke it. "Why?" "I-I just need time for that. I can't explain it very well." They all looked not convinced. "So what is what you wish child?" "I just want to stay here or at my old place, but I want to visit the guild too. I just can't deal with it jet. The sounds the rowdiness. I-I." I started crying. Everyone looked shocked. "I just need some time off I guess, but I will slowly return. But I don't want to be lonely." Happy laid his pawn in my hand. "Is something like a house visit once a day and slowly coming to the guild with them, each day a bit longer an idea? Does that sound good to you. I don't want to push you Natsu." Gramps suggested. I was glad, that was what I would like. "Yea, something like that." Gray wiped my tears away. I hit his hand away. He and the rest looked shocked. "Gray, please don't touch me before you settle things with Juvia." He looked defeated and sighed. "That's fair." "I know it sound rough but it is something you have to deal with Gray. Please don't come by my house before you settle it. Because I won't be able to hold back." I blushed at that last statement. Just like Gray. 

"Okay I won't. That's a deal I will settle it with Juvia and after that I will visit you." "Can you help me to stand Gray?" He looked shocked.  "You want to stand already?" "Yea." "Natsu take it easily, I will make sure if you leave the guild after you can walk that everybody will be quiet and don't ask a thing." Gramps declared. "Thanks gramps." I said. After that Gramps left the room. Laxus and Gajeel as well. I stood with Gray, still little shaky on my feet. "You can let go of me." I said towards Gray. He did. I felt stable but not with much power. I took a step with a lot of wobbling. Gray was standing close by to catch me if I fell. "It's okay Gray." He didn't looked convinced though. "Should I leave?" Lucy asked with caution. "No, you don't have to. If I can walk, I want you or Erza to walk me back if possible." Gray, Erza and Lucy looked at me with wide eyes. "I can walk you home Natsu, I would love to." Gray said a little desperate. "No, you can't Gray. You promised you settle thing first with Juvia." I was disappointed at myself that I was this stern. But I didn't want to betray Juvia. Because I already did betray her, I don't want to make it worse. I looked at the floor. He looked defeated again. "I understand I will leave you with the girls then, I will go settle things." Wendy walked towards me and looked at me. "I can heal you so your power in your legs will come back a little." Wendy said. "Not needed Wendy, you did so much for me already. You need some rest." She bowed and left. 

I looked at Lucy and Erza. "Can you guys help me downstairs? Erza do you want to ask Gramps that he will keep the guild down?" "Sure" They both said. "Wait a minute Erza. I have one request." She turned around. "After I leave the guild I want to walk with Lucy alone to my house. I want to talk with her is that alright with you?" She smiled. "I understand Natsu, no problem." Happy flew at my head with caution he didn't want to put too much pressure on me, not like the lightweight he is could do that. Lucy came walking towards me. "Thank you." She whispered. I was glad. She put her arms under my so I could support on her. My legs wasn't trustworthy jet. Erza walked out of the door and screamed at gramps and the guild. "All of you shut up. Natsu can't deal with your loudness at the moment." I had to giggle at that. The guild went silent. Erza walked at the other side of me and did the same thing as Lucy. They walked with me downstairs. Very slowly. I saw all of the faces, silent, dead serious looking, but with relief as well. I wasn't used to the silence the guild could produce. But someone broke the silence. "Why are you leaving already Natsu?" Gramps and Erza were furious. The sound that person produced was so loud. I went a little wobbly again. Gramps went giant. Erza had an ominous aura surrounding her. Gramps yelled "Shut up! You idiot!" And smacked the guy who spoke. Gramps was louder than ever. It was getting dizzy. One leg of me gave out. But luckily Erza and Lucy had me. "It's okay Natsu your close." Lucy whispered. Erza whispered "Lucy can you take over the last steps?" She nodded. We walked through the door. I heard Erza pulling her knife out. 

"I feel kind of sorry for the guy." Lucy sweat dropped. "Let's continue Natsu." She was still whispering which I was glad for. "Thank you Lucy and I'm sorry." "What for Natsu?" "Thank you for everything, for having the patience for whispering, for having faith I would return. And sorry I made you worry and sorry I left you out." She was crying. "It's okay. I should of have figured it out. I was being stupid. Are you alright now? They were quit loud at there." I was glad she was accepting my apology. "Yea, was a little wobbly and dizzy because of it. But now we are outside so the sounds of the guild can't reach me." We walked the whole way to my place. I felt guilty she had to help me. She was breathing harder. "Lucy, Happy can take me if it is too hard for you." "No it's okay I will bring you home. You helped me out so many times Natsu. Now it is my turn." She said smiling.
