"Who says?" She halt her track and turn around. Her eyes widened as she saw the figure. "D-Dae Joon?" She called. Dae Joon is the guy who Yoo In beat up in her previous school. The guy that caught in coma. "Park Yoo In. Do you miss me?" He said. Smirking at her. Opening his arms widely as if he was waiting for Yoo In to hug him. "What? You want me to beat you again?" She said sarcastically. Dae Joon were taken aback a little. "Awh, come on, Yoo In. I just recovered." He coed. Yoo In rolled her eyes. "It's been 2 years and you said just recovered. Such a good liar." She claps her hands sarcastically and walk away. "You change a lot, Yoo In." He said. Making Yoo In halt her track again and turn around. "Nope~ I'm still the same. Unless you want me to kill you right here." She spat. Yoo In gave him a thousand of death glare. "See! You don't behave like this. You could've just kill me right now instead of saying those words like 'I'm going to kill you. Haha.' with your evil smile." Dae Joon imitates the old Yoo In. She exhaled. "I wonder who has change you. Hm~" Dae Joon wear his thinking face on. Yoo In were too lazy to entertain that guy so she just walk away from him. "Hey~ Wait up. I'm not done talking." Dae Joon catch up with Yoo In. She gave a glare. "What do you want, Kim Dae Joon?! Aren't you finished yet?" She exclaimed. Making a few eyes were on them. Yoo In stared straight to his eyes. "Relax, girl. I just want to talk to you. Let's go. Sorry, everybody. She's just broke up with her boyfriend!" Dae Joon said to everyone that were watching them. Yoo In's eyes widened. She clenched her fist. Preventing her to just punch him in the face. Instead of punching him, she grabbed him to a nearest cafe. Good thing there's not really much people there. They took a place and face each other.

"Why the hell did you say that?" She screamed in her whispered. Dae Joon wore his clueless face. Yoo In heaved a hard sigh. Massaging her nose bridge. "Did I say something wrong?" He asked. Yoo In gave him a are-you-kidding-me face. "Seriously, Dae Joon. People know that I'm in relationship with BTS Jungkook and here you are saying that I just broke up. What will the media say? And if this news spread around, what am I gonna say to Jungkook? What... Aish, nevermind." She blurted. Totally done with her life. Dae Joon looked at her unbelievably. "Looks like you really love him." He said. Yoo In looked up at him. Sighed. "I don't know." She finally said it. "So that Jungkook guy change you. Finally it makes sense." He said. Yoo In rested her forehead on her arm on the table. 'What am I gonna do now?' Sighed deeply. "What's the the problem? Just tell them the truth." He shrugged his shoulder and leaned back. "It's not that easy, you brat." She spat. Glaring at him. Resting back her head off. "Is it that hard? Tell me then." He said. Dae Joon waited for her to say something but nothing came out. "Yoo In~ Are you still alive?" He asked weirdly looking at her. "What's the matter if I die though? My life could've be even better." She stated. Lifeless. What to do? She gave up with everything. First, she cheated on Jungkook. Second, Jimin might confess to her anytime and she have no idea what to response. Third, she's in a big trouble with media in this few hours or maybe minutes. Forth, Dae Joon is totally getting on her nerves that she might just kill him anytime even in the cafe if she had to. Fifth, she might have a little conflict with her parents since she didn't come home last night. Sixth, she was worried that if Jungkook would know what had happened between her and Jimin last night. And last but not the least, her sister might question her about school and why didn't she come home. She had no way to escape Soo In. Repeat once again, NO WAY. Sighed. Seven things at one time. Who could even handle it? 'Why is my life so complicated?' She thought. "Why would you said that? You could tell me if you need my help. Even though you always tried to kill me but I'm sorry for what I've done to you. Actually, I like you. The feelings never change even after 2 years. I'm serious, Yoo In. I really like you." He confessed. Yoo In were speechless. And again, another problem had come. Yoo In let out a deep sigh. Hard. She know she can't do what she have done in the past. Like commit suicide. It might worsen her condition. She needs to fight the depression. She needs to survive. To make people around her happy. She looked up to Dae Joon. The person that once she beat up until he was in coma confessed to her. She took a deep breath.

"Dae Joon, you know... my life is getting complicated lately...." Dae Joon was about to say something but Yoo In cut him. "No! Don't say anything. I want you to hear me. Look, it's not like I'm hating on you. No, I don't hate you. But for your happiness, I can't accept you. I don't want to let you down. Honestly, you're a best guy I ever met. Even though I've beat you until you're lifeless but still, you're still confessing to me. No one ever do that to me. No one. I'm so touched by that. But I tell you this, I can't live longer anymore. I'm dying, Dae Joon. I might get cancer but it's still in process of diagnosis. You're the first one to know this. I'm begging you, please don't tell this to anyone. I want to make them happy. I don't want them to worried about me. In the last time, can you help me with this? Can you be right here, beside me, as a best friend? I trust no one except you right now. I also have no idea why I did this but my instinct say that you could help me." She said. Tears start to falls down her cheeks. She covered her face with her palm. She can't live longer anymore. Dae Joon stood up and sit beside her. Giving her a warm hug. "I'll help you with this. How could I not helping the girl I like since 2 years ago." He said. Yoo In looked up to him. "I'm sorry, Dae Joon. But I can't accept your love. You deserve better." She muttered. "Yeah, I know. I'll be your guy best friend instead?" He said. Yoo In smile at him and nod. "Thank you, Dae Joon." She hug him tightly. "Let's grabbed some coffee to warm up your body." He said as he stood up, went to the counter and ordered 2 cups of hot white coffee. He brought it to their place and they enjoy it. "I'm sorry for what I've done to you 2 years ago." Yoo In apologize to him. Dae Joon just smile at her. "Nah, it's okay. My fault for insulting you. Emo girl~" He teases. Yoo In giggled at him.

It's actually already dawn. Yeah, they spend the whole day in that cafe. Talking about their life right now. Yoo In has become more open to Dae Joon. So does him. They become closer in just a few hours. No awkward. Yoo In finds out that Dae Joon is very comforting yet so charming at the same time but she just can't fall for him. She already had Jungkook but she cheated on him. After a quite some times, Dae Joon decided to walk Yoo In home. At least he could back up Yoo In if her family questions her about her whereabouts.

As they arrived, Yoo In opened the door. "You're home finally." Soo In said sarcastically. Yoo In sighed and looked at Dae Joon. "Wait, is that Dae Joon? Yah, what did you do to him this time? Dae Joon, she didn't hurt you, right? Beat you up? Head locking you? No, right?" Soo In asked worryingly since she's the one who treated Dae Joon's mentality. Well, he got that trauma to approach a girl after what had happened but he's alright now. "No, noona. She didn't do anything to me. She's different now. A lot has change huh? And we became friends too." He said as he wrapped his arm around Yoo In's shoulder. Yoo In shrugged away and glared at him. He smile awkwardly to her. "Thank God. Come in!" She invite him in. Park's family were a bit shocked to see Dae Joon's appearance. "Omo! Kim Dae Joon-ssi. Long time no see. How are you, son?" Mrs Park said as she hug him. Well, they already treat Dae Joon as a part of the family after they got the news that Yoo In beat him up. "I'm good, eomonim." He said as he hug her back. "Dae Joon~ It's good to see you back here, son." Mr Park shake his hand. And the only person that doesn't know about Dae Joon is Woo In. Well, he was in US that time. "Oh, I forgot. That annoying guy is my older brother, Park Woo In. You didn't know him because he was in states for 5 years to continue his studies there." Yoo In state. Woo In glared at her as he heard that his sister call him 'annoying guy'. Yoo In smile sheepishly to him. Dae Joon approach him and bow to him. He bow back. "Okay, since Dae Joon is here~ How about we have some dinner together? Is it okay with you, Dae Joon?" He nod at Mrs Park and they went to the dining table and eat their dinner.

After awhile, Dae Joon decided to go back home. Woo In offers him a ride. At first he was insisting that he's okay to just walk by but Yoo In want him to go back safely so he had to agreed. Woo In took his car keys and drove off to his house.

"I'm going upstairs. I'm tired." Yoo In said as she climbed the stairs and went straight to her room. She miss her room though. Yoo In crushed her body on the bed and stare at the ceiling. Sighed. "Good thing they don't ask me where did I go last night." She murmured. She then grabbed her bag and took out her phone. She switch it on. 7 missed calls from Jungkook. She frowned. 'Maybe he miss me.' She thought. She decided to call him anyway.

"Hey~"

["Oh, Yoo In~ Where did you go? I didn't see you this whole day. I go to the cafe but Se Ra noona said you didn't come to work. I miss you, babe."]

"Oh, yeah. Sorry. I'm not feeling really well today so I just stay at home. I miss you too, Kookie~"

["Awh, my babe miss me. Hyung! Yoo In miss me!"]

["No, she lie! She miss me!"] - J-hope

["No, I'm the one who she miss a lot! Right, Yoo In?"] -Suga

And they starts to argue. Yoo In shook her head.

"No no, I miss all of you. EQUALLY. Now go to sleep. You must be tired."

["Awh, okay, babe. I love you, bye~"]

She hung up and throw away her phone. She felt guilty to say those words. She cheated on him. Sighed. 'I'm sorry, Jungkook.' She said in her mind. Looking blankly at her phone. Then she got up and went to the bathroom to clean up. She filled the water in the bathtub. Warm water though. Just as the tub were full, Yoo In unclothed and get in the tub. "Nice warm bath I ever had." She muttered. Then she remember something. The last time she use this tub were that time she drown herself. She smile sheepishly. How stupid she is that time. Now that she become stronger. 'I hope this cancer makes me stronger and won't let me down.' She thought.

After taking a warm bath, she wore her pajama and ready to sleep. Yoo In patted her pillow and lay her head on it. She stared at the ceiling. Thinking. Trying to settle down all her problems one by one before her times up. Then her phone beeps. She take it and open the message.

From: Min Go oppa

Yoo In~ Can you come to my hospital tomorrow? I have something to tell you. Meet me after your school.

She read it and suddenly felt a little uneasy about it. She flinched away and say that there's nothing happens. So she decided to tell Dae Joon about it.

To: Dae Joon

Dae Joon-ah~ The doctor wants to see me tomorrow after school. Can you come with me?

Send! She waited for a few minutes and her beeps again.

From: Dae Joon

Yeah~ I'll fetch you from school.

She frowned. 'If he fetch me from school, doesn't it means that Jungkook would see him? No, I won't let it happens. He might thought that Dae Joon is my boyfriend.' She thought as she shook her head.

To: Dae Joon

No! Let's meet at the cafe just now.

Send! She sighed in relief that Dae Joon agreed. She close her phone and threw it on the lamp table beside. Now, she can't sleep as she keeps thinking about what Min Go want to tell hher She felt curious. 'I hope there's nothing bad happens.' She thought before she drifted to her dreamland.

On the next day, as usual, schools day. She met Jungkook. They don't really talk to each other. Jungkook notice that but he flinched away those negative feelings. 'Maybe she's not in mood.' He thought as he keep staring at Yoo In. Yoo In were spacing out a lot at the school. Even when they were at the rooftop. Jungkook worried about her. "Babe, are you okay?" He asked. Yoo In snapped away and looked at him. "Hm?" She asked. She didn't focus on Jungkook. "Are you okay? I'm so worried." He said as he place his palm on her temple. Yoo In smile and held his hands. "I'm okay. Just a little tired. I don't sleep really well last night." She gave an excuse. Jungkook nod and give her a quick peck on her cheek.

After school, Jungkook as usual, he would send Yoo In off to Se Ra's cafe. But Yoo In was quite insisting that she could go by herself. Now she had to agreed because Jungkook might be suspicious to her. They walked to the cafe and arrived. Jungkook give her a peck on cheek and left her. She didn't even went in the cafe but instead she run off to the opposite way to the cafe where she need to meet Dae Joon. She already told Jae that she won't make it to the cafe but she didn't tell her that she had an appointment at the hospital.

From afar, Dae Joon saw her and waved at her. Yoo In catch a breath. "Sorry, I'm late. I had to wait until Jungkook leave." She stated. Dae Joon let out a chuckle and patted her shoulder. "Nah, it's okay. I just got here anyways. Shall we?" He said. Yoo In nodded and they stop a cab and went off to the hospital.

Just as they arrived, they need to sneaked in very careful because Soo In works at the same place as Min Go. She call Min Go to help her to get in his clinic. "Oppa~ I was in the emergency stairs now. Help me to sneak in. Well, Soo In eonnie works at same place as you though." She said. Then she hung up. "We'll wait for a second." She said to Dae Joon. He nodded and sit on the stairs. Yoo In fan herself by her hands. "I never thought that I'll be your friend." He said. Letting out a chuckle. Yoo In looked at him. She purse her lips. "Dae Joon, I don't know how long I can live now. But in case if there's something happens to me, promise me that you'll look after my family sometimes. And also, tell BTS that I really love them. Promise me, please?" She hand out her pinky to him. Dae Joon looked at her. Sadly. Then he slowly intertwined her fingers. 'She looks like she knew that her lifetime is about to end. She's dying.' He thought.
