"You saved me, Lucy" dad smiled giving me a hug but I couldn't take all the credit 

"But it wasn't just me" I corrected him, "it was Fred too"  

Dad let go of me and turned to Fred. He obviously didn't know what to say to Fred but he had to at least say thank you because he did save his life. 

"Thank you" dad said simply but I raised an eyebrow at him, "Mr Weasley" 

"You're welcome" Fred nodded and dad held out his hand but Fred had other ideas he actually hugged dad, dad hissed at Fred but he just laughed, "only real men hug!" 

"I was thinking more - " 

"Dad!" I whined 

Fred let go of dad but kept the smile on his face but I stepped in. 

"Fred you just hugged you're old potions master, is that mission accomplished?" 

"Correction, Lucy, he is now my friend rather than an enemy" 

"WHAT?!" Dad yelled 

"Play nicely dad, Fred's only trying to be nice" I sighed 

"Fine..." 

Then Tonks stood up and joined our little crowd and stood next to me, she prodded dad in the arm and smiled. 

"You're daughter saved my life you know that?" She beamed 

"Is that true, Lucy?" Dad asked 

"Yeah..." I said 

"That was such a brave thing to do" 

"I know but I can't have the people I care about most, die" 

"You've risked you're life because of it and - wait! You didn't look at my memories!" 

"Yes I did, I've been there and done that" and I showed my dad the time turner, he stared at me then I could almost see his brain figuring it out he seemed shocked, confused and worried all at the same time, "time turners come in handy" 

"You...I...How..." Dad stuttered 

"Yes me and Tonks went back in time to save you and Fred, you should of seen me if I didn't get you back well what can I say I might as well be a dementors dinner" 

"So brave of you..." He shook his head, "so you know who your mother is now I presume?" 

"Yes, I know who she is and why you didn't listen to me when I was younger" 

"Because I was embarrassed about how much you looked like me - " 

"- And you thought you're house was simply perfect" 

"I did, I paid too much attention to the people who didn't matter in life and no attention to you the one who's taught me a lot of things"

"Yeah..." 

There was a bit of awkward silence and we were all looking each other when Tonks butted in a little impatiently. 

"We've got to get back the castle and let the Weasley's know that Fred is alright!"

"No! We can't show Fred yet! We have to wait! And plus if you-know-who sees dad he'll be killed!"

"That's very true..." Tonks whispered, "oh well! But can we get out of here? I fear this place will collapse any minute..."

"OK, lets go"

Fred's point of view 

We made our way out of the shrieking shack then began walking up the hill towards the castle but we couldn't be seen other wise we'd be in trouble. Tonks and Lucy walked ahead but me and Snape trailed behind. I placed a hand on my left back pocket and then remembered the ring that I had found and that I was going to give it to Lucy because...Well, I wanted to marry her. And I had to ask Snape's premission first.

So as Lucy and Tonks hurried ahead I decided to make my move, I caught up with Snape then tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around sharply, making me flinch. He didn't look happy but then again he seemed curious under that anger, after all I did save his life.

"What is it you want, Weasley?" Snape asked me

"Er well, I want to ask you something that is probably the hardest question you'll ever have to answer in you're life" I whispered, he raised an eyebrow, "as I saved you're life down at the shrieking shack I was wondering if I could ask something - "

"Would you get on with it!" He snapped

"Alright, I want to propose to you're daughter"

He stared at me. Just simply stared at me. His mouth hung open slightly and coldness filled his eyes, he didn't seem very pleased about this question. And somehow I can understand why, he didn't want to let go of his daughter.

"Weasley, I - " he began but was re-thinking his words, "no, I'm sorry but she's too young and I don't agree with it"

"But - "

"No is my final answer and don't question me"

Snape contined to walk forward, I sighed and my shoulders slumped down and I followed them all. I really wanted to marry Lucy, she had been the only girl that I had ever loved. I wouldn't stop until I got to marry her...

Suddenly Tonks and Lucy stopped and they turned around and waited for us to catch up. When I had finally caught up Lucy spoke.

"OK, we have to hide you two until this battle is over, any suggestions?"

"Room of requirement?" I shrugged kicking a stone that was on the floor 

"It's too risky to get you there..."

"LUCY!" Someone yelled from the castle, Lucy turned around and saw Harry running towards her. She waved nervously. 

"Hey, Potter" she said 

"Hey, oh! You managed to save your dad and...Fred?" 

"Yeah, well me and Tonks did" 

"OK" he panted, "I guess you need to hide these two" 

"We'd like to but we can't think of anywhere...Any suggestions?" 

"I have an invisibility cloak but I don't know if it will hide them both, it's worth a try though" Harry reached in his pocket and pulled out a piece of fabric, he un wrapped it and then handed it to Lucy 

"I owe you one, Harry!, Thanks so much!" Lucy smiled 

"You're welcome, i've got to go now!" 

"OK, see you later!" 

"Er yeah..." But Harry didn't seem so sure, he hurried off towards the forbidden forest and then Lucy turned to me and Snape. 

"Alright you two, you'll be under this thing until the battle is officially over whether you like it or not. I don't want any fights or arguments at all" and she draped the cloak over us. "You can follow us but make sure you're not seen otherwise you're toast!" 

"OK..." We both grumbled and followed Lucy and Tonks up the hill and into the main courtyard

About five minutes later the people who had survived the battle flooded out of the great hall and as well as that on the bridge the death eaters were walking across. Hagrid was there too carrying someone, I convinced the old grouch to move next to Lucy so I could talk to her.

"Oi" I whispered in Lucy's ear making her jump, "who's that Hagrid's carrying?"

"I - " she began then squinted and gasped, "it's Harry Potter!" She whispered and then clamped her hand over her mouth. She looked down and she was obviously thinking about something, my guesses were, either: she thought it wasn't worth saving me and Snape or she was thinking of attacking Voldemort or something. 

"Who's that Hagrid's carrying?!" Ginny demanded, "Neville, who is that!?" 

"Harry Potter, is DEAD!" Voldemort jeered. Ginny screamed and dad just about managed to hold her back. "Silence!" 

The whole crowd stood back, I tripped on a piece of rock and if it wasn't for Snape standing next to me (he hauled me up) we would of been busted. 

"Harry Potter is dead, from this day fourth you put you're faith in me" Voldemort whispered, his voice surprisingly echoed through the open space. 

I glanced at Lucy and could see she was pained, it was as though she was arguing with herself on what to do...

Lucy's point of view 

I simply had to do this. If Voldemort had won I had to step forward and join him, I would sacrifice my own life for Fred and my dad it was the only way. And now Voldemort wanted me more than ever I had to step forward. 

"Harry Potter is dead!" Voldemort yelled and all of his death eater's let out menacing laughs, "and now is time to declare yourself" he paused, "come forward and join us...Or die" 

Everyone looked at each other, I was rocking back and forward and the balls of my feet. I had to make my move soon and let Voldemort have me. I'd be his servant and everyone I loved would be safe. 

"Draco!" A hoarse voice said from the death eater crowd, they were looking at a spot near me. I looked behind me and saw someone I recognised, Draco Malfoy, "Draco!" 

"Draco" Narcissa smiled, "come" 

Draco pushed his way through the crowd not even bothering to say sorry, when he reached the part of the crowd where I was stood he looked at me and pulled me forward, I shut my eyes and allowed myself to be dragged. 

"My Lord" Draco said, "I would like to bring my girlfriend too" 

There were mutters and gasps throughout the crowd, Narcissa had put her hands over her mouth and Lucius looked horrified that his son was bringing me over. 

"Well, well, well!" Voldemort grinned, "Lucy Snape finally presents herself to us all! Such a pleasure to meet her again" 

Draco turned round slightly in the direction of Fred, I would of sworn he could see him. Draco grabbed my hand the way Fred would and walked forward with me. We stood in front of Voldemort who was grinning at us, revealing some scabby teeth (does that dude ever use a toothbrush?!) 

"Yes, this is her" Voldemort smiled placing both hands on my cheeks, "after Harry Potter you were the person I have been looking for. Well Lucy, you may stand by me as well as young Draco but before any of you're friends try and rescue you lets make sure you have a bit of protection" 

Voldemort cast a spell over me so my feet were glued to the floor, my hands chained to my back and my eyes forced to look forward. Draco stood next to me and took one of my hands behind my back, he broke it free (Voldemort allowed this) and held it. 

Everyone stood still, some looked at me and some stared at the death eaters. Some death eaters stared at us too, I could sense that Narcissa's eyes were on me too I really wanted her to set me free. She was a sort of mother to me. 

Draco stood closer to me now making me flinch, he leant forward and kissed me on the cheek, then before I could stop him he kissed me on the lips. He was just about to do something else when he was knocked out the way and as well as that my chains were broken.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY GIRLFRIEND!" Fred yelled at Draco. Fred was fighting with Draco like he had at the Malfoy manor. I squealed but didn't move. Voldemort held his wand above his head and attacked Fred. 

"Enough!" Voldemort hissed at Fred, "unless you're joining us you better head back to you're filthy blood traitor family. Then I can kill you!"

"I'm staying with Lucy!" Fred rasped, he stood up and confronted Voldemort, his worst fear, "SHE RISKED HER LIFE TO SAVE MINE AND I'M GOING TO RETURN THAT TO HER!"

"I see...So Miss Snape has two boyfriends? How touching, she got around at school then?"

"DRACO ISN'T HER BOYFRIEND!" Fred shouted, "I am"

"LIAR!" Draco yelled getting up and swinging a punch a Fred but Fred simply grabbed his wrist, "I'm her girlfriend! I ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND THEN YOU STEPPED IN, IN MY FIFTH YEAR! REMEMBER?!"

"YOU WERE NEVER WITH HER! NEVER! YOU JUST SIMPLY SNEERED AT HER ALL THE TIME!" 

"Just because I wasn't with her doesn't mean I wasn't her boyfriend" 

"You're going out with Louise you idiot!" 

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Voldemort yelled, "if you're both coming to my side go now, if not I will kill you both" 

Both boys nodded and headed towards the death eaters, Draco walked over to Narcissa, Lucius and Louise but Fred shuffled to a spot on his own. 

Suddenly I was swept off of my feet and was being carried towards the Hogwarts castle. I had my eyes closed and wouldn't dare open them, I heard Voldemort continue to shout spells at me. Finally I was put down on a step. I opened my eyes and saw Draco.

"Draco?" I frowned

"Yeah" he nodded, he looked guilty himself, "I couldn't let that Weasley boy take you"

"Why not!?"

"Because he's not your boyfriend, I am" 

"Draco you are not my boyfriend, we've never gone out" 

"No, Lucy, that's where you're wrong. We went out since the end of second year but then at the end of fourth year you're memory was wiped" 

"By who?" I frowned 

"By me, it was an accident, I apoligise for my foolish my mistake" 

"You lie" I said, "I never lost my memory. You hated me ever since you laid eyes on me, it was only recently you fell for me. You were jealous of Fred" 

"I - I - I - " was all Draco managed to say but then a crowd of people rushed in and were fighting again. 

"I must leave now, Draco, good luck" I nodded at him and began fighting in the crowd with Tonks.
