I woke up...Wait?! What? Woke up? Dear me! I had fallen asleep in the library! And I was in doe form! But I can tell you now I had had the most terrible dream! Harmony Malfoy was kissing Fred Weasley! And oh...Oh wait...That was real...I looked at my face in the reflection of one of the windows. Even though I was a doe I could see tears running down my face. I was heartbroken. 

I stood up and then heard shuffling noises. I perked my ears up and walked closer to the edge of the row I was in, a male voice and a female voice spoke... 

"Have you seen my daughter Madam Pince?" Dad asked Madam Pince the librarian 

"No Professor i'm afraid I haven't, she doesn't normally visit the library only on a few occasions. Have you checked the Gryffindor common room? She's probably there celebrating because of that wonderful catch she made of the snitch yesterday" 

"I've checked there and she wasn't there, I have checked everywhere I can, I have asked students and teachers but they have no idea" 

"I'm sorry but I haven't seen her, I hope you find her soon though" 

Dad sighed then strutted out of the library leaving Madam Pince to shuffle books. I knew there was a secret passageway in the library which led to the main courtyard. I walked out of the row I was in and trotted sadly towards a portrait of a women who knew me. I made a soft noise and the women looked down. 

"A doe? But she looks familiar...Miss Snape? Oh! Goodness me! Your an animagus! Come through my dear! Come through!" She said and her portrait swung open. I nodded at her and went through. 

I went down the passage (which I would normally crawl under) and found myself in the main courtyard. But then I stopped dead in my tracks. All my friends were sitting right in front of me looking the opposite way. 

"Has anyone seen Fawn?" Hermione asked 

"No I haven't seen her since last night, I thought she would of been in the common room after the game because we set up a party for her!" Ron shrugged 

"I wonder where she's got to..." George muttered 

I rolled my little doe eyes and avoided them completly because the traitor Fred was there. I plodded inside into the main entrance hall, then I walked down some stairs which led me into the dungeons. The door to potions was open so I trotted through and saw dad sitting at his desk. His face in his hands, he looked terribly worried. I went over to him and nudged him with my nose

"Huh?" He muttered then looked down "a doe?" Dad gasped then he held onto his wand, he looked panicky "no it can't be..." He muttred bending down and patting me on the head. 

I stepped back from him and stood up as I turned into human form. Dad's eyes grew wide in shock but I ignorned it, my face most probably still had tears on it. 

"L-Lucy?" Dad asked standing up and looking shocked 

"Actually it's Fawn, I am a marauder" I said softly 

"So that's why you wanted to stay at Grimmauld place, Black and Lupin taught you how to become an animagus" 

"They sure did" I shrugged, but then remembered the things that had happened at Grimmuald place. And why I had really visited there. I choked back the tears but dad saw that I was upset 

"Lucy, what's the matter?" Dad asked 

"Er-I-nothing..."

"And where have you been?" It's concerning me, he kept questioning me. I couldn't take it any longer. 

"Fine!" I shrieked "I dated Fred Weasley" I hugged dad. He didn't do anything he just stood there motionless

"Y-You what?!" Dad asked sounding half shocked half annoyed 

"I dated Fred Weasley" I repeated now crying 

"When you say dated do you mean - ?" 

"I'm not going out with him anymore. He cheated on me" 

"HE WHAT?!" Dad roared. Despite the fact I had gone out with a boy without dad realising he seemed even more shocked at the fact that he had cheated on me! 

"I know..." I muttered 

"Who with?"

"Harmony Malfoy, Draco's sister, the one who's just joined Hogwarts, she's in your house" I sneered even at the name, and to my surprise dad sneered with me (dad's got a mini me) 

"Yes, I know the one you mean, the one always with Miss Jeanie who refuses to follow instructions along with her." 

"So I guess you don't like her either?" 

"Lucy when have I ever favourited a student apart from yourself?"

"Never" I said smiling slightly "so what are you going to do?" 

"I shall have a talk with Mr Weasley and maybe Miss Malfoy, see if I can straighten this whole mess out" 

"But dad" I said sadly "what if I don't want this mess straightened out?" 

"What do you mean?" 

"I mean like" I ran my finger on the table wiping up a bit of spilled potion and studying it "what if I don't want to go back out with Fred? What if I want to be single and I won't have to suffer love's pain..." I whispered now squinting at the bit of potion that had been moped up by my finger. I placed the finger in which I had moped up the potion in my mouth and said "love potion" 

"Pardon?" Dad asked 

"Love potion, it was on the table, who's been brewing love potion dad? Have you?" 

"No I don't tend to brew it, I never do, but I did have the students in seventh year - in my N.E.W.T classes - brew it, only on a test" dad shrugged

"Curious..." I muttered

I brushed the contents of the love potion on my skirt, then sighed. My life was really falling apart wasn't it? Fred said he loved me but he loves another. Two girls like him, Harmony Malfoy and Angelina Johnson, but Harmony got in there first.  

"As you were saying Lucy?" Dad interrupted

"Oh right sorry, I just can't be bothered to go out with Fred because he cheated on me. Lets just leave it at that. It's better to be single than to be in a relationship so you don't get hurt physically or mentally"  

"That's true but didn't you love Weasley?"

"Your right I did love him but now I have moved on, I shall continue my life as though nothing had ever happened, now if you'll excuse me I will be heading to the common room so I can get dressed"  

I spun on my heel and left the dungeons. As soon as I reached the top of the stairs I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I wiped my memory clean as though I had gone back in time. I planted a smile on my face and skipped to the Gryffindor common room. I got changed into my casual clothes (it was the weekend) then I went to the Transfiguration courtyard and looked around. I hid behind one of the pillars quickly.

I watched him from behind the pillar in the Transfiguration courtyard, he was with his twin brother and they were or what they seemed to be talking about their new inventions for their joke shop they wished to open when they had finished school. 

I found it quite fascinating watching him he was jotting stuff down in a little notebook and an old quill and a nearly empty pot of ink. And his twin was talking away happily while he struggled to write everything down...

I watched for ages still behind that pillar, I could of been there forever but he decided to put his notebook quill and ink away, grab his case of jokes and stand up, his brother copied him and they headed my way.

I froze. I had to act casual as he walked by, I rummaged through my enchanted bag and found a potions book, like I needed to study potions anyway, besides my dad was the potions master anyway! I leant against the pillar and pretended to read, every few seconds flicking my eyes in his direction, and then he looked at me.

"Hey Lucy!" He said, he looked happy with himself... 

"DON'T YOU HEY LUCY ME!" I shrieked

"Lucy?" Fred asked, oh yeah he was trying to play it cool wasn't he?  

"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID!" I yelled as people looked at us 

"I know what I did what?" 

"YOU CHEATED ON ME!" I ran away from Fred, he chased after me but I didn't stop

"Wait!" Fred yelled 

I ignored him and ran into moaning Mrytle's bathroom, I heard Fred knock on the door but I locked it with my wand. I saw Mrytle and gave a little wave, she floated down from the window sill and gave me a half smile.

"I promised i'd come" I said

"As you so did, I thought you were going to leave me but you didn't, that's what good friends do you know" she replied  

"I know, so what do you want to do?" 

And so Mrytle said that we should talk about our similarties and differences (apart from the fact she was a ghost) so we talked for a while then I decided to leave, and who happened to be outside? Fred. So I played it cool.

"Lucy!" Fred gasped

"Good afternoon Mr Weasley" I smirked

"Er hi, right do you forgive me?"

"Forgive you for what my good man?"

"Forgive me for cheating on you?" 

"Pardon me Mr Weasley but I have no idea what you might be going on about" 

"Lucy? Do you even know who I am?" 

"Mr Fred Weasley" 

"Do you know we went out?" Oh this was getting so funny 

"I have never dated any sort of male specimen in my life! So you must be mistaken!" 

"B-But..." 

"Oh hey dad!" I ignored Fred and walked over to my dad who didn't look in the best of moods (or was it because he saw Fred trying to talk to me?)

Dad stalked over to Fred he grabbed him by the tie he was wearing and hoisted him up. Fred went pale and dad and Fred were almost nose to nose (oh god this is worse than I thought) 

"How dare you break my daughters heart!" Dad growled in his face 

"I-I-I" was all Fred could say due to the fact he was being suffacated 

"YOU APOLIGISE NOW!" Dad hissed 

"Er - " 

"Dad! But him down! He can't breath!" I shrieked 

Dad let go of Fred and he landed in a heap on the floor. I gasped and rushed over to him, placing a hand on his back then placing my other hand on his chin, I tilted it up to see if he was alright. 

"Fred are you OK?" I whispered 

"Sort of..." He muttered, I helped him up and then faced dad 

"I'm taking him to the hospital wing" 

"Very well" dad shrugged 

I walked Fred to the hospital wing not looking at him directly at all, just giving him the occasional sideways glance to see if he was still alive. When we reached the hospital wing I opened the doors and helped Fred to one of the beds, he sat down and gasped for air coughing occasionally. 

"L-Lucy" he said as he took in air "i'm sorry! If I-I had enough energy i'd tell you the truth, but m-my lungs seem to be failing me!" 

"Oh Fred!" I said, I helped him lay down, next I got Madam Pomfrey to see if he was alright. Withing half an hour he was ready to speak to me. I sat there and looked at him, he looked back at me. There was going to be some serious explaining that needed to be doing.
