It happened so fast.

One moment three friends named Rochelle, Madeline, and Desiree had been walking to Rochelle's place from an afternoon at the movies. The next there was tire screeches, a crash, screaming and crying, and all three girls were lying on the  road in unspeakable pain, tightly holding onto each other's hands.

Sirens could be heard as the ambulances rushed to the scene, and suddenly everything went black.
