It all started one stormy day. You had been heading to the Vantas house to hang out with your friends, Karkat and Kankri. They had been fighting more than usual. You were determined to find out why.
Attempt 1!: From eight in the morning to one in the afternoon you followed Karkat. He had turned around and spotted you at one point and almost screamed a rant at you but you ran away.
When you went to Kankri you hid behind something as you saw him reading a book. You could fairly hear him mumbling triggers under his breath. It startled you when he suddenly broke the silence.
"_____, it is very triggering for you to-" and you were off.

Attempt 2!:
You walked up to Karkat and started asking innocent questions.
"What do your horns do?" You were met with silence.
"Can I play with them?"
"N-NO!"
"Awww... Pwease?~~"
"FUCKASS! I SAID NO."
"Okay. Why are you and Kankri fighting so much then?"
"WE'RE FIGHTING BECAUSE OF YO- YO, YO... YO MAMMA."
"GGGRRRRR!" You exclaimed tugging at your hair as you stomped away.

"Nice save mcnubbs."
"SHUT UP MEENAH."

You walked up to Kankri and tried a slightly different approach than you had with Karkat.
"Hey Kankri? Sorry to disturb you with... Whatever it is that you are doing..." You said watching as he did some of the weirdest stretches you had ever seen.
"It is called yoga _____."
"OK then. Anyway I thought it would be nice to talk about the fights between you and Karkat."
"I'm afraid I can not tell you the reasoning for our recent... Disagreements."
"Oh... OK then..." You absconded from the scene to let Kankri carry on with his... Yo-ga.

-------- a few hours later --------

You sighed as you sat on a hard chair in the Vantas household. You faced the window. You watched the birds fly south, the wind made the leaves on the ground seem as though they were dancing. The rain just wouldn't stop falling and you could tell thunder was on its way.

Suddenly an unexpected turn of events occurred! You felt someone peck your right cheek, and someone peck your left cheek. Your cheeks turned bright pink and your body stiffened.
"It is you we have been fighting... I suppose you could say over."
"The fuckass is right." Karkat agreed. Kankri raised his hand and pointed his index finger. He opened his mouth to speak before slowly closing it again and bringing his hand back down.
"I will take the time to... Educate you on your use if language later." Karkat groaned and face palmed.
"Who do you fucking choose?"
"Language Karkat."
"Shut the fuck up Kankri."

Karkat-----------------
"Um, well... I really like Karkat... Sorry Kankri. Your one of my best friends though!" You said trying to soften the blow of choosing his younger brother.
"It is fine. In reality, I made a vow to be a celibate. I should stick by that vow to avoid triggering others."

Kankri------------------
"I... I choose Kankri. Sorry Karkat... Though, Nepeta really likes you!"
You said clasping your hands together. Karkat shrugged, his hands in his pockets before skulking upstairs. Hopefully to call Nepeta.

Nope-------------------
"I'm sorry, I don't feel that way for either of you..."
Just at that moment, the doorbell rang. You opened the door to find your boyfriend/girlfriend/matesprite holding a box of chocolates/a bouquet of roses. You happily skipped into the sunset with that person. Both of you getting drenched by the storm.~~~~~~
