Jake smiled as he saw Dirk approach his front door. It was date night once again. Jake had, for the past five minutes been staring out of the peephole. Obviously, he opened the door just as Dirk was lifting his hand up. One of Dirks eyebrows was raised as his hand made a knocking motion in midair. Jake gave him a quick hug and slammed the front door of his house shut. Dirk followed him.

They walked to the park unaware of author-chans eyes following them. They arrived at the park and immediately found the ice cream van. Jake ran over, a bit like how a child would.
"Can I have a vanilla twist please?!" He exclaimed, stars in his eyes.
Dirk made it to the ice cream van and his mouth hung open.

There. There it was.

The coolest ice cream he had ever seen. The 'Lucky Star'. Yes. There was an anime ice cream. He ordered it and walked away fan noting and screaming.
"KAWAII! SUGOI!! ITADAKIMASU!"
Jake looked at him strangely but let him be. They sat together on a bench and smiled at each other.

After finishing their ice cream they put the remaining trash in the bin and had a walk around the small forest encircling the park. Hand in hand. There was another bench in which they could rest on. They sat and chatted for a few minutes before looking into each other's eyes. They leaned in ever so slowly. Yet again, unaware of author-chan behind them. Hiding in a bush. Their lips touched in a maximised show of affection. Just as the touching moment started, author-chan burst out from the bush. And started popping streamers and screaming:
"I SHIP IT SO HARD I'M GONNA DIE!"

Therefore accidentally, if effectively ending the cute moment as they both saw a white small character with a little cowlick pop up from no where.

Dirk leaned closer to Jake.
"It reminds me of Edward Elric in one of his funny moods..." He whispered in Jakes ear as Jake started laughing at both his comment and author-chans happy dance.
