It was an average Tuesday on Alternia and the more you looked at the clock the harder it was to ignore the impending boredom. It hung over you like a black cloud, waiting for you to submerge yourself in it and possibly drown. Anyway, you decided to not let that be a thing and decided it was time you went to visit your troll fianceé, The Grand Highblood. He had proposed in one of the funniest ways. He had just stopped in the middle of the park and went into a lunge position. He opened the small box with one hand and gestured to the ring inside like a man on teleshopping at 4am. All the while his eyebrows seemed to be wiggling at the speed of light, metaphorically of course. You had said yes and hadn't seen him since, which was about a week or so ago.

You got in your strange, little car and drove to his dauntingly large home - or hive as he called it. When you started to park into the driveway, you were met with the sight of Kurloz being poked at with a stick by Gamzee. He was trying to sign something to his girlfriend/matesprit, but every jab from the stick made him jolt every which way and made him ever so slightly angry. Eventually he grabbed the stick and snapped it with one hand before chasing after Gamzee in a hot pursuit. You stepped out of the car and Gamzee spotted you.

"Lady that's with GHB!" Gamzee darted over to you, Kurloz yet again following him but to greet you instead. Kurloz and Gamzee were very supportive to your relationship. They gave you both quick hugs and stepped back so that you could go up the drive. They both waved to you as you walked past and as soon as you had, Kurloz punched Gamzee in the stomach. Gamzee crumpled to the ground like a bunch of logs, eyes wide.
"Whyyy?" A smug smile was his response. You knocked on the door and GHB almost immediately answered.
"I DON'T WANT ANY OF YOUR MOTHERFUCKING GIRL SCOUT COOKIES- OH. Hi, ah, uh. Come in." He boomed. You let out a wholehearted laugh and went in.

GHB resumed what he must have been doing before you arrived. This was watching the WWE and hoping they would kill each other most likely. You sat down with him and let out a sigh. He paused and looked down.
"You OK my MOTHERFUCKING... Huniepoo?"
"Ew, please never do that again."
"Thank MOTHERFUCK."
"Either way I'm bored as all Hell and I don't know what to do about it."
"We could play a game or something."
"Huh? Oh! I know, can we play hide and seek?"
"I don't see why the Fuck not."
After a few rounds you were both at a tie and you had an idea.
"OK, last round whoever wins is the victor! You count!" GHB closed his eyes and started to count to twenty. You tiptoed behind him and climbed into his hair. There was so much of it he didn't even notice.

When he was finished counting he started to look for you and only gave up about an hour later. "Okay, where are you?! I give up!" You slide up to the top of his head before peering down over his forehead and looking him in the eye. GHB let out a loud echoing laugh. Once that was over, he kissed you on the forehead. One of the most romantic and gentle things he has done. Putting you down on the couch, he grabbed a dark purple, fluffy blanket and draped it over the both of you so you could cuddle. You sighed contentedly and snuggled closer to his chest listening to his thumping heartbeat, as he wrapped his arms around you in a loving embrace.

Not many stories ended in actually happy endings, but this was perfect.
