You had been in a scrap with a random girl who happened to laugh at Eridans 'clothing style'. It wasn't so much a scrap but I complete and utter domination with you as the winner. You practically squished her like a bug. She sat there crying her eyes out. Not that she had lost but, she had landed on her phone and her pink hearted nails were broken. You huffed as Eridan put a plaster on your knuckle from when you had accidentally punched the ground.

"Why do you always do this? You are such an idiot."

"Says you..." Pouting like a child, you pull him into a hug with him in your lap. 

"Why don't you ever sit on my lap? I'm the man."

"You should start acting like one! But seriously, you know I like to be in control of things."

"But I'm not a 'thing' I am a living troll being!"

"Are you sure you're the man in this relationship?" Eridan leapt up from his temporary seat and put his hands on his hips about to shout at you. You tugged him back onto your lap before he could though, and cuddled with him again. You pushed your face into the crook in his neck, missing him roll his eyes. 

"I'm sorry. But I couldn't help it. I'm sorry that I'm dominant which isn't ideal for you but, you can't expect me to change. I'm telling you now that I won't allow myself to be changed by anyone. Not even you. You know that you are special to me and I really care for you, so please don't ask me to change because you want to be the so called man in the relationship. It isn't fair that men are supposed to be seen as the protectors. Well, not fair for me." Eridan relaxed in your arms a new softness in his eyes.

"I don't want you to change, it's not like that at all. I'm flushed for you no matter what and I would never ask you to change. I miss the feeling of dominance but I guess you do too. If it makes you happy I'll go along with what you want."

"Thank you... Looooove you~"

"Flushed for you too..." You cuddled closer and squeezed him a little before completely letting him go.

Afterwards, the day passed pretty normally. You went to your job and Eridan went to hang out with his friends. You ended up getting a promotion, which meant more money to treat your special bab Eridan. You couldn't wait to get back and tell him. You could get him that new scarf that he had his eye on, and you could get some proper shopping in! Instead of all the cheap crap you've been getting, you can get proper, really nice food! When you reached home, Eridan wasn't back yet, so you went up to bed, it was 11:30 and you were tired from your exhausting day. You took off the slightly uncomfortable shoes and changed into the comfiest pyjamas you owned. You slipped into the slightly scratchy sheets and lay comfortably thinking of Eridan, your precious boyfriend. You finally drifted off still thinking about the male troll. 

When Eridan finally got back it was the early morning and he went straight to bed, seeing you completely stretched out as usual.  Eridan had enough space to lay down comfortably so he did just that. He lay down and quickly fell asleep. 

In the morning when Eridan woke up, he couldn't move. In your sleep, you had embraced him to your chest, making him curl up and making yourself curl around him in a protective manner. He was your precious bab. He knew that but that didn't stop him from being irritated.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

"ERIDAN SHUSH!"

"Okay..."
