Logan's P.O.V:

I was sitting in potions class with Roman, watching the teacher show us how to make a proper Blood-Replenishing Potion. The potion, when made correctly, would restore your blood should you ever have lost it in battle. If brewed wrongly it will have the opposite effect, taking away your blood.

I glanced over at Roman who was sitting beside me looking bored. He should be paying attention since he his grades in potions class aren't that good. I for one have the highest rankings in our year in all grades except Care of Magical Creatures. That's Patton. He may not look like it, but Patton is one of the best students in our year!

"Isn't that right, MISTER BERRY!?" The teacher said looking down at me. I realized that I wasn't paying attention. "I-I'm sorry. Could you repeat the question, sir?" I said. The teacher shook his head. "I ASKED, how what type of cauldron is best suited to brew this potion?" he said with a hint of smugness. I smiled to myself. Too easy. "The cauldron best suited for the job is a silver one, though a normal one will do. The potion just wont last as long." I said. The teacher looked taken aback since I had answer the question correctly and continued the class without a word.

~Time skip cause I am tired~

Roman and I walked out of class and towards our next class when Roman suddenly asked me a question.

"What do you think about that Virgil guy?" he asked and looked at me.

I thought about it for a moment. "Well... he is...odd. And he doesn't say much. Though I would like to get to know him. And he did beat you in a duel--" I started. "I was going easy on him!!" Roman snapped. Sure...

We walked in silence for a while.

"Sorry Lo. I just don't get how someone who doesn't even belong in a house can beat me! I'm the best in our year! The teachers have said so themselves! "You should at least give him a chase. For Patton's sake." I said. Roman nodded. "Yeah I guess your right." Roman said and we went to our next class.
