Chapter 4
I run through the field, it's beautiful and lush and the air is fresh.
As The wind whips through my hair, I feel a sense of strength and vitality that I hadn't felt in what seemed like an eternity.
And then, in the distance, I see it - a white wolf, it's fur glowing in the sunlight, it's eyes filled with familiarity.
Without hesitation, I race towards the wolf, my heart pounding with excitement as I embrace it in a tight hug.
And then, as if by magic, the wolf begins to shimmer and change it's form, shifting until it stood before me as a woman.
My mother.
Tears well up in my eyes as I look into her familiar face, her warm smile filling me with a sense of comfort and longing.
mommy
I missed her more than words could express, and now, seeing her again, I felt a flood of emotions wash over me.
"I missed you so much, Mom," I choke out, my voice thick with tears.
She pulls me close, her arms wrapping around me in a tight embrace as she kisses my cheek "I love you" she whispers wiping away my tears.
"I miss you Sammy," she whispers, her voice soft and gentle.
"I just wanted to see your face, to hear your voice again." her voice is soft and gentle as she spoke.
Tears well up in her eyes, mirroring my own. She had always been my rock, my guiding light in times of darkness.
"You've grown so much, Sammy," she chuckles, her voice filled with pride. "I'm so proud of the man you've become."
But then, as quickly as the dream had begun, it was over. "
No, mom, come back" I cry
My eyes open and I am back in the cold, dark room.
" What happened to your mom?"
Soren is sitting on the edge of the bed with a scowl on his face. His expression dark and foreboding.
The warmth of my mother's embrace fades into a memory, leaving me feeling empty and alone once again.
I quickly wipe away the lingering tears from my cheeks forgetting the cut in my cheek and cry out in pain.
All my previous attempts of trying to not let him see me like this fails in that moment as I break down in pain.
Soren sees everything - every weakness, every fear, every hidden emotion that I tried so desperately to conceal.
His scowl deepens as his eyes bore into mine with such intensity"Why aren't you healing?" he demands, his voice sharp and cutting.
I swallow hard against the lump in my throat, struggling to find the words to tell him to fuck off.
A flicker of something akin to concern flashed across his features before being replaced by his usual mask of indifference.
"you're weak, " he says, his tone tinged with mockery. "You can't be weak. You are my mate."
My eyes widen in fear when he stands up and approaches me, he sits beside where i'm lying.
His musky scent is overpowering, filling me, my head starts to spin with dizziness.
His body looms over me like a dark shadow, my heart starts to hammer in my chest as he grabs a bowl from the bedside table, his movement calculated.
"You haven't eaten in days. Eat. NOW." his voice was low and commanding, his tone brooking no argument.
I can't bring myself to meet his gaze, can't bear the thought of acknowledging his authority over me.
Instead, I turn away, squeezing my eyes shut in a feeble attempt to block out the reality of my captivity.
There was a moment of tense silence, broken only by the sound of my ragged breaths.
And then, to my surprise, I hear a sigh from him, followed by the soft clink of the bowl being placed back on the bedside table.
I wait, my heart pounding in my chest, unsure of what will happen next.
And then, I hear the sound of footsteps as Soren leaves the room, the sound echoing in the stillness like a distant echo.
Slowly and cautiously, I sit up, my muscles protesting against the movement. Despite my reluctance, I knew that I needed to eat if I was to have any hope of surviving his torments.
I glance down at the bowl to find that the green liquid from before has been replaced with white rice and a piece of chicken.
Without hesitation, I began to eat, savouring each mouthful as if it were a gift from the heavens. The food was plain and simple, but it filled my empty stomach and gave strength to my wolf.
and as I finish the last bite of food, a sensation washes over me, starting from the inside and spreading outward. A warmth begins to radiate from within, slowly my wounds start to heal, the pain and soreness fading away as if they had never been.
It was a relief unlike any I had ever known, a renewal of strength that filled me with a sense of gratitude towards the meal.
With a weary sigh, I lay back on the bed, my muscles still throbbing as exhaustion washes over me like a tidal wave pulling me into the depths of sleep.

As I drift deeper into unconsciousness, i feel a warmth sensation enveloping me. It was as if I was being cocooned in a blanket of safety, protected from the harsh realities of the world outside.
At first, I think it's a figment of my imagination, a fleeting sensation born from the depths of my subconscious mind.
But as I sink deeper into the embrace the tingles grow stronger, more tangible, until it feels as if I am being held in the arms of another.
Gentle fingers trace patterns across my skin, each touch sending tingles of pleasure rippling through my body leaving me breathless and trembling with need in my sleep.
I feel finger threading through my hair and gently caressing my back with tenderness I never felt making me snuggle deeper into the pillow, the sensation of its warmth and hardness comforting me in ways that words could not express.
I feel the fingers in my hair tuck at the strands making me lift my head, Then, something wet and warm touches my lips, the tingles jolts me from the depth of sleep.
Blinking groggily, I reach up to touch my lips, confusion clouding my mind as I tried to make sense of the feeling.
The memory of a pair of lips pressing against mine flashes through my mind like lightning.
the kiss had been brief, fleeting even, but the tingling sensation it had left behind lingered, sending shivers coursing through my body.
I sit up abruptly, my heart pounding in my chest as I scan the dimly lit room for any sign of the mysterious intruder.
There was no one there, no trace of the presence that had invaded my dreams with such startling intensity.
I struggled to comprehend what had just occurred. Had it been a dream? a trick of my subconscious mind playing cruel games with me in the dead of night?
With a sigh, I push aside my thoughts and turn to my side. I inhale deeply, my senses coming alive as I catch the familiar scent of Soren lingering in the air.
It wraps me around me like a warm blanket, both comforting and unsettling.
I stretch and freeze in shock when I feel the absence of the restraints that had held me captive.
I glance down at my ankles, expecting to see the familiar bindings that had kept me tethered to the bed.
