'Tis the night of Halloween, and you're home alone. Arata's at some party, so you've got the house to yourself until he comes home with a hangover tomorrow. His pain is always hilarious.

It's five o' clock and already pitch black outside, meaning you can see tiny trick-or-treaters making their way down the road through the living room window. All the channels on TV right now are kinda boring, and there's no way you're giving away any of your candy, so you decide to do the obvious thing.

You dress up as All For One and start chasing any kids who knock on the door up and down the street.

Half an hour of harassing children later, you shut the front door behind you, a content grin on your face. You take your mask off and yeet it somewhere down the hallway, making your way to the kitchen. You really want chocolate right now.

After rooting through the nearly-bare cupboards, you finally come across your favourite kind of chocolate. Halloween maaagic. You realise no My Hero Academia characters have actually made an appearance in this special yet, and so head back to the living room to check your phone, chocolate in hand.

Happy with your choice, you turn your phone off and roll over to start up a marathon of Gravity Falls. Your phone pings again.

Groaning, you get up, checking your phone for any more details as you jog up the stairs to your room. You get the feeling that turning up to a party of Hero course students as All For One wouldn't be the greatest idea.

Problem is, you don't really have anything else. All your costumes are DIY, and at this point they're kind of all falling apart. You end up just pulling on a skeleton shirt and grabbing a hoodie before heading out.

By the time you get to Kaminari's, it's almost seven. His family clearly went all out with decorations - there are jack-o-lanterns everywhere; the windows are orange-tinted and full of bat silhouettes; cobwebs cling to the walls and a robot reaper is stood outside the front door, swinging its scythe up and down idly. You duck past the foam blade, bouncing slightly to try and fight off the autumn chill as you ring the doorbell. The tune of This Is Halloween sounds out when you press the button.

A screech and some thudding later, Mina tears the door open, beaming at the sight of you. Before you can fully take in her pretty cute cat costume, she latches onto your arm and drags you inside. The door slams shut behind you. Pumpkin-shaped fairy lights and chatting guests blur by as she pulls you down the hall, babbling happily about something or other until you reach the kitchen.

"Y/n's here!"

Kyouka's clearly drunk; you can tell from how she's slumped across the table, looking more dead inside than usual. Her vampire costume's snazzy as heck, though. You feel way more underdressed than you did before.

"FLAPJAAACK!" You hear Ochaco before you see her, and even then you just see a blur of brown and red before you've been tackled to the floor and given brain damage. She takes the place of Mina and starts chattering about something or other, jumping to her feet and heaving you up after her. You just smile and nod, focusing more on the devil outfit she's donning than what she's saying. Damn, why do these girls all look so good? It's not fair.

Looking over Ochacolatte's shoulder, you spot Tsu, dressed as a witch, and Momo, in a bloody surgeon's outfit, at the sink, pouring out a large glass of a green liquid. It's probably juice. It's also probably spiked, from the state Kyouka's in. You go to wonder who would've spiked it, but then remember this party is being hosted by Kaminari. You make a mental note to not accept drinks from anyone aside from maybe Momo tonight. You'd love to get drunk, but you're kinda underage, and you also don't want to miss laughing at Arata's suffering tomorrow by suffering from a hangover yourself.

You find yourself sat at the island, littered with orange and black confetti, as Mina and Ochaco head over to manage the music. This Is Halloween is playing, and it wouldn't be surprising if that's all they've listened to all evening. There's a bunch of bandages in the vague shape of a human in the chair to your right which you assume is Toru - it would be fun if it was some weirdo who snuck in though - and Izuku to your left, in what looks like some weird version of the Yuuei PE kit.

Mina reappears, jumping up on the island as Spooky Scary Skeletons starts blaring out of the speakers. "WE'RE PLAYING TRUTH OR DARE NOW."

"Oh heck okay-"

A few minutes later, a dozen more UA kids have crawled out from the woodwork and you're now all sat in a circle on the floor with a cola bottle in the centre like some kind of cult. Summoning a demon would be fitting for Halloween, actually.

"I'll go first!" Mina chirps, reaching forwards and almost sending the bottle flying with the force with which she spins it. It lands on Iida - woah, ya boi's Frankenstein's monster - whose glasses start shining like Kyoya Ootori's.

"Iida," Mina says, voice hushed and expression deadly serious. "Truth or dare?"

His glasses glint again. "Truth."

Mina lifts her hands out in front of her, gently placing her palms together before boi-ing at Iida.

"Why are you a square?"
