There we sat, letting our tears fall silently.

"Marcia?"

"What?"

"Is it true you where sexual assaulted?"

"Yes..."

I look at the ground, and bite my lip. "My dad... he raped be at age 5. It was horrible. And no matter how hard I try to forget it, it becomes worse. You know, Marcia, we are alike. We both have the same problem. Our demons haunting us."

"I guess."

I look at the ocean, and sigh. "I'm confused on why I'm here. I'm confused why everyone hates me. I'm confused about life."

"Life isn't that confusing."

"I guess it isn't. But, like the Grass Roots said, Live For Today."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Don't get caught up in everything, and don't let everything push you down. Just live for today, and don't worry about tomorrow until tomorrow comes."

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Oh. That explains a lot."

"Should we try to head back to the cabanas are just stay here and watch the stars?"
