Chapter 2

Y/n sat back down on her couch, picking up her laptop and her container of f/d, taking a sip after she opened it. Her password screen came up asking for the code to unlock it, she sighed and quickly typed in her password which was Levi, the name of her kitten. Speaking of the little devil, tiny Levi pranced over and jumped into her lap, the small black-furred creature purring and kneading her thigh until he finally deemed it worthy to lay down on.

Y/n smiled at the small creature, scratching behind his ears and petting his back before returning her attention to the hunk of technology in front of her. She clicked on the icon for Google and typed in Facebook, wanting to see what was going on with the world. Y/n had a nagging feeling she was being watched she turned and looked around the room, seeing nothing but her TV and her windows to the neighborhood around her. She shook her head as the screen loaded and tapped on the 'Status' box, typing a quick:

'Ever get that feeling, that you're being watched? Lol :).'

Levi started hissing quietly, raising his body up to a standing position and arching his back, fluffing his fur to look bigger. "Levi," Y/n said, petting him trying to calm him. "What's the matter kitty?" Y/n felt a hand on her shoulder, then heard a smooth voice with a Scottish accent. "Hello love." She quickly turned and saw a man, he had black hair with matching facial hair, brown eyes, and wearing a black suit, matching tie, with a red undershirt. Y/n's eyes widened and she gasped. Levi yowled at the man, hissing at him, jumping off Y/n's lap, and making a run down the hall to her room.

Her voice shook as she spoke to him. "Who are you? What are yo-" she got cut off.

"Doing in your house?" He finished, walking around and sitting on the couch opposite of her. "Let's just say you're," he gestured his hand, "a very valuable person to me."

"How do you mean?" Y/n questioned, slowly reaching for the gun she stashed between the couch cushions in case of an emergency. The malicious man glanced at her hand, tutting his finger like he was a punishing father and she a bad child. "I don't think so sweetheart." His hand moved up and suddenly, and Y/n's arm moved up as well. She tried moving, but she was stuck. Her throat closed as she started panicking. "Oh my God, what are you?"

"Just the opposite, darling." His eyes flashed deep red.

Y/n let out a sharp breath. "Please don't kill me, please!" She started crying and prayed in her mind for someone to save her. The man walked up to her and grabbed her arm, she closed her eyes and then they were someplace cold. She opened them, looking around, and saw she was in a warehouse. "Where are we?" She questioned, the man's eyes moved to her face. "My name is Crowley, I've taken you to a special little place in Colorado, far away from everyone, to give you a special job." Y/n looked at him confused, brushing her h/l h/c hair out of her face, her e/c eyes holding deep concern.

Crowley sighed, walking Y/n to a table by her arm and sitting her down. "You, my darling," he grabbed a stone slab from a bag, "need to tell me what this says. Or, I'm going to rip your pretty eyes out of their sockets." Y/n looked down at the slab in front of her, there were weird markings covering the thing, it was in a language that she didn't recognize. Her brows furrowed as she squinted to look at it, the markings were giving her a headache.

"I can't... I can't read what it says." She stuttered timidly. "I don't know what language this is in." Crowley pulled a mean looking blade off a side table and held it at Y/n's throat. "Wrong answer sweetheart."

He slashed it across her cheek, barely skimming the surface, and she winced as she felt blood trickle down her face. "Now," Crowley snapped, "are we going to read? Or are you just going to sit there?" Silent tears dripped down Y/n's face, she didn't want to die, but she couldn't read it clearly.

"Tick tock darling," he tapped his watch, "I haven't got all day." Then he his eyes darted around like he was waiting for something to appear out of thin air. Y/n looked back at the tablet, rubbing the tears from her eyes and squinting again to focus. The symbols started forming words "D-Demon tablet? What's a demon tablet?" She muttered to herself. "What was that?" Crowley leaned over her shoulder, his breath smelled of Scotch. "It says 'Demon Tablet', but... the rest of the words are fuzzy." A small moment of silence passed.

"Can I go home now?" She asked quickly.

The demon chuckled at her and leaned down until their faces were only a few inches away. "No you cannot go home, not until you translate the whole thing."

Y/n tried protesting: "But-"

Crowley slashed her face once more with the blade, earning a cry of pain from her. Y/n bent her head down and held her cheek while using her h/c hair as a curtain between her and that monster. Thick red blood dripped from between her fingers. She prayed again, closing her eyes:

Please if anyone is listening, I'm sorry if I did anything wrong and if this is my punishment, so be it. But if it's not, I've been taken to a warehouse somewhere in Colorado. Someone please help me.

"Crowley." A gruff voice called out behind her, she opened her eyes, only to feel a hand on her shoulder and a wind rush around her. She shielded her eyes so nothing would get in them, then she heard guns cocking. Y/n quickly opened her eyes, she was in a motel room. With two very confused, familiar men pointing their guns at her, and a third trench coated man beside her.

"Y/n?" The shorter one asked.

She looked at him and cocked her head. "Agent Paige?" She looked at the other man. "Agent Smith? What— Where am I?" The trench coated man placed two fingers on her forehead. She felt dull pain, then she felt nothing. Her hands went to her cheeks, the cuts were gone. Y/n backed up to the wall, very frightened. The men put their guns away, and walked up to her slowly.

"Y/n," Agent Smith said. "It's okay Y/n, we won't hurt you." She looks around and grabbed a nearby lamp, and swung at the agents, hitting Paige in the head and nearly hitting Smith in the arm. "Cas!" Paige yelled, ducking from the lamp again while holding his head. The trench coated man, who she assumed was Cas, stepped towards Y/n who swung the lamp at him. He grabbed it and crushed it into dust like he was crushing a stick of chalk. Y/n screamed and slid into a corner.

"Please don't hurt me, I'm sorry— I'm sorry." She repeated, falling to the floor and holding her head between her hands.

Smith crouched down next to her. "Y/n, we're not here to hurt you." She pushed him away. "Then tell me what the hell that thing was!" The frightened woman shrieked. "His eyes were freaking red! What did he want with me? He... He took me to a place in Colorado in less than a second!" The other man— Cas—also crouched to her level.

"He is a demon."

She stared at him, dumbfounded, then she laughed. "Okay, sure. And I'm the president of the United States." Cas tilted his head to the side, confused.

Y/n chuckled sarcastically. "There's no such thing as demons. They're not real." Cas stood up. "Dean," he said to Agent Paige, "I'm going to find Crowley." She heard wings. Then he was gone.

Y/n's eyes widened. "What the hell? Is he like them?!" She shoved Agent Smith away and bolted for the door. Dean grabbed her by the waist. "Sam! Talk, now!" He yelled for his brother who stood to his full height and walked over to the struggling girl.

"Y/n, my name is Sam Winchester, that's my brother," he nodded to Dean behind her, "Dean. We hunt monsters. The thing that took you? That was a demon, Castiel is an angel. Monsters are real."

She took a second to process her newly found information, her head snapped to the side when she heard wings again. "Crowley is gone." Castiel appeared, his eyebrows furrowed in frustration. They locked eyes, Y/n gazed at him, he stared back.

"An angel..." She said.

Beautiful... The angel thought.
