Chapter 15

Y/n asked if Castiel could hold her hand while she got tattooed. She was very frightened because she had never had a tattoo before, this was her first one. Unfortunately, Castiel had to get his tattoo at the same time as Y/n, so he was unable to comfort her. Sam, however, held Kelsey's hand as she got a piece of art permanently etched into her skin.

-Small Time Skip To After The Tattoos-

The tattoos were painful for Y/n and Kelsey, Cas was perfectly alright with being stabbed many times with a needle, but the tattoos turned out perfect, the triplets were very good at matching, as they said. Sam payed for the tattoos and bought the aquaphor* as Cas, Y/n and Kelsey walked out to the car. "Ah god this hurts so baaad!" Kelsey complained, she had gotten her tattoo on her back underneath the nape of her neck. It was bleeding, but only a little bit. Y/n and Cas got their tattoos underneath their left collarbones, like Sam and Dean had gotten them. Y/n had thought it would be easier to put the aquaphor on her collarbone then anywhere else. As they got to the car small mewls could be heard from the backseat, meaning that Levi was awake. "If we're going to be on the road all the time, I don't want to take Levi. He'd be alone, and I couldn't do that to him." Cas rubbed small circles into her lower back, trying to soothe her. "It's alright, we can figure something out." He reassured his special friend, making her smile. "Thank you, Cas." He kissed her in the head. "Anything for you." He murmured to himself.

Sam walked out of the tattoo parlor moments later and wrapped an arm around Kelsey, careful not to touch her sensitive back. "Is Dean still eating?" Y/n asked Sam. He gave her a shrug of his shoulders. "Probably." This made Y/n sigh in frustration, and she walked up the sidewalk to the pizza shop. "Where are you going?" Cas asked as he moved right behind her. "To get Dean." She said simply. Cas grabbed her shoulder, making Y/n whip her head around to look at him. "What's the matter Cas?" She asked him, slightly annoyed. "I sense something in there, something with Dean." It was Sam's turn to ask Castiel questions. "What do you mean, what's in there?" Cas scrunched his eyebrows together, trying to concentrate on the powerful force he felt in the pizza shop with Dean. There was only two beings that he could sense, one was Dean, the other was familiar. Cas' eyes widened in realization. "A horseman, the horseman." Sam's face turned into one of panic. "You don't mean-?" Castiel cut him off. "Yes, Sam. It's him." Kelsey butt into the conversation, annoyed with and worried about Dean. "Who is this 'he' you keep mentioning?" She asked Sam. Castiel pulled Y/n behind him and looked at the doors of the pizza shop. "Death."

~Earlier (play music)~

A large car pulled up to a parking space at the side of the road. A pale man got out of his black vehicle and walked up to the pizza parlor on the side of the road, dressed from head to toe in a dark, black suit and P-coat. In his right hand he held a cane, it was black and made of metal with a rather large diamond sitting atop the handle. As he walked to the pizza shop a man ran into him. "Hey pal," he told the dark figure, "watch where you're walking!" The pale man continued walking and brushed his shoulder where the man had made contact with him. A nonchalant gesture, rather ordinary, but time seemed to move in slow motion as the man who ran into the dark figure collapsed only moments after the encounter. Many people rushed around him to see if he was alright, but it was too late. The man's life was gone, taken by the ultimate reaper...

Death himself, the most gruesome horseman, was here in Lawerence, Kansas.

Death walked into the pizza shop, spotting Dean Winchester immediately. A waitress walked over to him after he walked in. "Welcome to-" she was cut off as Death looked her in the eyes, making her drop her menus and serving tray. The pale horseman caressed her cheek before walking away towards Dean, who had his back to the door. The waitress collapsed and a woman behind her shrieked, causing everyone to look at the door. Dean turned around and stopped chewing his food when he saw the pale man in front of him. "What do you want?" Dean asked rudely. "Dean Winchester," Death said calmly, "we need to talk."

~Present~

Death sat in front of Dean eating a greasy slice of thick crust pizza, Dean himself wasn't eating at all. "I assume you know who I am, Mr. Winchester?" Death asked after chewing and swallowing a bite of pizza off his fork. Dean only nodded, not daring to look Death in the face. "And if you know who I am," Death continued, "do you know why I'm here?" Dean shook his head no. "I'm sure it's not for the pizza." Dean laughed nervously after saying his small joke, very frightened of the man in front of him. Death stopped chewing his food and looked down at his plate. "I think the pizza here is marvelous, don't you?" The horseman smiled wryly at Dean.

Nobody came to bother the two, everybody had left the small parlor, with the exception being the chef. Everyone had been very scared of the dead body by the door, but nobody told anyone about what they saw. Nobody called the police, and nobody called an ambulance. Cas, Sam, Y/n, and Kelsey however, became very suspicious of the lack of activity of the once busy pizza parlor. "I'm going in there." Sam said before walking up to the cracked curb. Castiel moved very quickly to stop him. "Sam, no! You can not go in there." Sam shot a glare at the angel. "And why the hell not? My brother is in there, with Death, he could be in trouble." Cas glared right back, his blue eyes locking onto Sam's hazel ones. "That's exactly the point, Sam. Death, the most powerful horseman, is sitting in there with your brother. We don't know what he wants, or if he even wants anything." Sam looked warily at the pizza shop that was only fifteen feet away, his body wanting to run to his brother, but his mind knew that Castiel was right. Sam checked his watch, and saw that it was 12:18 pm. "I'll give him twelve minutes."

Sam, Cas, Y/n, and Kelsey waited outside by the Impala for almost ten minuets until Dean emerged, unharmed, from the front doors of the pizza shop. Sam walked to meet his brother at the curb, relieved to see Dean alive, but didn't let him know that he knew what happened inside. "Dude, where were you?" Dean let show his signature shit-eating grin. "There was a cute waitress," he raised a napkin in the air with numbers jotted down on it and a note that read: Call me~ <3 "I got her number." Kelsey cracked a smile, flipping her hair away from her face. "Nice Dean." Y/n leant onto Cas as she watched the brothers interact with each other, watching as Sam wrapped an arm around Kelsey and kissed her head. She let worry flood her heart for a split second. In that second, however, something triggered a vision, and Y/n collapsed onto Castiel. He yelled Y/n's name, but she couldn't hear him, she was already unconscious.
------------------
There was no sound... A small child walked among rows and rows of roses, the plants coiled up the length of stone walls that reached to about his shoulders. He stretched his hand out in curiosity and touched one of the vines, not flinching very much when one of the sharp thorns punctured the skin on his finger. He only looked in amazement. The boy's head whipped around to look behind him, a blurry figure approached him, and took the small child's hand in his own. The boy looked at his small hands as a bright light emitted from the strangers hands, and the cut was gone. The boy's features were less blurry now, his hair was h/c and short, only reached to his ears. His skin was a pale s/c color, but his face had small freckles dotting his cheekbones and nose.

Now the sound cut in... there was peaceful silence. Birds were chirping quietly as they flitted around in the air. A name was mumbled from the blurry man in front of the child, making him look up at the man. The man in front of the child had messy brown hair, a five o' clock shadow that needed shaving, and just like the boy; "Dominic, be careful alright?" The boy looked up to the man with his crystal blue eyes that matched the tall man's. "Yes daddy." The boy promised as he gave the mysterious figure a large smile, showing the small gap in his teeth where a tooth had been lost.

"-tiel." Another name mumbled from the distance, this voice sounded so familiar... it was dizzying. The man turned around to face the voice, it belonged to a blurry woman wearing a long, f/c dress that had a slit going up the side exposing her leg. "Ah, Y-" the man smiled and stood up from his position on the floor and hugged the woman, his trench coat swaying as he spun her around. She smiled and laughed. "Cas-" the woman's voice cut off as the boy shrieked. The couple swung their heads towards the child. "Dominic!" The woman cried to her child as she pulled to get out of Cas's embrace, he refused to let her take a step from his hold.

Another person forcefully held onto her child, she had red hair that was tucked into a tight bun, and blue eyes. She wore a gray suit and black dress shoes. "Naomi." Cas all but growled. "Give me back my child." 'Naomi' only laughed as she pressed an angel blade to the throat of Dominic, who was all but seizing with fear. "I'm sorry, Castiel. You know that Nephilims are strictly forbidden." The woman tore out of Castiel's arms and ran at Naomi, pulling an angel blade from a holster on her thigh. Blade raised, she slashed at Naomi's face, cutting her cheek and snatching Dominic out of Naomi's clutches. Naomi held onto her cheek as the wound shone crystal blue, her grace slowly dripping out of the cut.

Dominic held onto the woman. "Mommy... I'm scared." He whispered into her ear, holding tightly onto her shoulders. "It's alright my darling little angel." She moved hair from out of his face and tucked it behind his ear. "Mommy will protect you."

A sharp pain went through the woman's side as Naomi slashed at her ribs with a blade from behind. She dropped to her knees, still holding onto Dominic as tightly as she could. "Mommy, no!" Yelled the boy. "Y/n!" She heard the voice of Castiel as she drifted off. A man appeared next to her, he was dressed in a formal suit and had black hair. His skin was pale as death. "Y/n." His voice was deep, and she recognized the voice. It belonged to someone who she had been avoiding for years, almost a millennia, long after the Winchesters had died off from old age. "D-Death..." she whispered with her dying breath, noticing the body of Naomi that lay next to her.

"It's been a while, my dear."
