Chapter 14
Y/n looked up at Cas, her face contorted to one of confusion. "What's the matter Cas?" She whispered to him. Cas leaned his head down, eyes still locked on Dean. "I don't quite enjoy the way Dean is choosing to look at you." Cas whispered back. "His thoughts aren't really helping him out either."
Y/n shot a quick glare at Dean and dragged Cas away from the group of rambunctious so-called 'adults'. Y/n decided to take Cas to an isolated corner of the store, a sort of warehouse/storage unit of clothing was hidden behind a door to the right of them, and Cas stood with his back against the wall.
Cas casted his gaze down into the e/c shining orbs of Y/n's eyes. "Why did you bring me here?" He asked quietly, his blue eyes glimmering with confusion. "I just wanted to tell you that..." Y/n said as she set down Levi's makeshift carrier and hugged Cas' waist. "I love you." Cas returned the hug, placing his chin on Y/n's head. He then scrunched his eyebrows, pulling slightly away from the hug and looking at Y/n. "Why did you feel the need to bring me over here to tell me th-." Y/n cut him off by kissing him on the lips ad wrapping her arms around his neck. Castiel responded by quickly kissing her back and latching onto her waist with his hands, trapping her in his embrace.
In a turn of events, and placing a hand on the back of Y/n's head, Cas quickly turned them around and slammed Y/n up against the wall, their lips still connected, not too hard so he didn't hurt her head. Stepping forward Cas pressed up to Y/n until his hips were grazing hers, causing her to blush immensely. Panting ever so slightly Y/n pulled away due to the need of oxygen, but that didn't stop Cas from continuing. He placed little soft, feathered kisses on her right cheek and down her jawline, even trailing a few small kisses down her neck. "I love you Y/n, with all of my being, I swear it on my Father." He whispered, almost growled, into Y/n's ear before placing a final kiss on her cheek and pulling back to look at her face. Y/n couldn't think, she couldn't speak. She could only stare into Castiel's blue eyes as they stared into her e/c ones.
The silence was broken by Sam, who had left the group to find them, clearing his throat. This caused Y/n to shriek and jump onto Cas, who caught her immediately, holding her under the thighs. Then Y/n blushed, a deep red color powdering her s/t cheeks. "Am I interrupting something?" Sam asked, rather quietly. Cas turned to look at Sam and bluntly stated the obvious. "Yes." His words only made Sam snicker and turn around, waving for Cas and Y/n to follow. "Let's go, Kelsey already picked out her pantsuit." Sam started walking back in the direction of Dean and Kelsey. Cas gently placed Y/n on her feet and kissed her nose before lacing his left hand into Y/n's right one. Y/n knelt down and grabbed the bag that contained the sleeping kitten. "Come on Y/n, they're waiting for us." Nodding, Y/n silently followed as Cas pulled her along, the dark blush still covering her face. Along the way back, Y/n grabbed a black pantsuit in her size off a rack of clothes and a pair of black flats to match.
When Y/n and Castiel got back to the group, Sam, Dean, and Kelsey were talking about the case. "So," Dean asked to Sam, "what lives in the woods, eats every twenty years, and has a taste for male human flesh?" Sam rolled his eyes slightly at Dean's sarcasm. "Well, I don't know, it could be a Windego." Dean shook his head in disagreement. "No, those eat every six months leading up to winter... God, maybe?" Sam hummed in thought, nodding after a few minuets. "Maybe. Did the killings seem ritualistic?" Dean shrugged. "I don't know, we need to go check out the bodies." Dean decided to look immediately to his left, quickly spotting the h/c haired human and his angel friend.
"Cas, Y/n! About time you showed up, what were you doing?" Y/n held out the black pantsuit, showing to Dean. "I went to the other side of the store to look at pantsuits." Dean nodded and turned back to Sam. "Well we're gonna need to get these girls some fake FBI badges, you wanna call Bobby?" Kelsey broke into the conversation, leaning up against Sam's side. "Who's Bobby?" Sam smiled at a memory he was thinking about. "He's like a father to us. Our dad used to drop us off at his place when we were kids, and Bobby would take care of us." Dean chuckled. "Yeah... He may not be the best, but I wouldn't trade him for anyone else."
Y/n cleared her throat and gestured to the check out counter. "We should get going, right?" Kelsey nodded and agreed with her, dragging Sam with her as she walked to the counter. Dean walked behind Kelsey and Sam, snagging a candy bar from one of the many boxes of sweets. He grabbed a Whatchamacallit™ and sneakily placed it next to Kelsey's pantsuit. Y/n and Cas also came up to the conveyor belt and Y/n laid her black pantsuit and flats behind Kelsey's. The cashier was a woman, unsurprisingly, she had red hair, green eyes, and freckles that dotted her face. Castiel immediately stiffened, and Y/n took notice. "Cas," she said as she rubbed his arm, "what's the matter?" The cashier looked up from what she was doing at the sound of Cas' name, and Sam and Dean froze as well. Her name tag read 'Anna'.
"Castiel..." She muttered and laughed quietly. "Long time no see, dear friend." Cas only looked at her, a glare showing in his eyes. "Anna." Dean said, trying to be charismatic. "How's it going?" Anna's eyes flickered to Dean's, and they seemed to soften at the sight of him. "What are you doing here in Kansas?" Sam asked curiously, his eyebrows raising. "Well," Anna's voice was strong, even though she looked very petite. "After what happened with Uriel, I decided to find a job so I can get a house instead of the apartment that I'm living in." Dean smirked at the mention of what happened, and Y/n couldn't help but be curious as to why happened then. Castiel noticed her facial expression, and lent in to whisper in her ear. "Dean and Anna had sexual relations before she killed Uriel. I'll tell you more later." Y/n nodded at his words. Anna started to scan the pantsuits and the candy bar that Dean had snuck up on the belt. When Sam finally noticed the candy bar, he rolled his eyes at his brother's childishness. Anna rung up the total, which was $164.67. Holy cow! Y/n thought as she took the bag that held her pantsuit and shoes. Dean and Sam payed, obviously, and the five (six, including the cat) left the building and walked out to the Impala.
"You girls still need your anti-demon possession tattoos." Sam said after taking and hauling the bags into the trunk, for some reason there was a white circle with a star inside accompanied by weird symbols painted onto the top of the inside of the trunk. "What's with the Devil worshipping?" Kelsey said sarcastically, twirling a long strand of black hair around her pointer finger. "It's to ward our guns." Dean cockily said as he clambered into the front of the Impala. Sam sighed, running a hand through his chocolate brown hair, ridding his brow of sweat. "It traps demons." He said after slamming the trunk closed.
Cas and Y/n got in the back seat and Y/n leant her head on Cas' trench coated shoulder, strands of her h/l h/c hair falling in front of her e/c eyes. Cas brushed her hair away behind her ear, causing Y/n to blush. Kelsey suddenly opened the right hand door and got in before clipping her seat belt into place and sighing. "We still need tattoos." She groaned. "Definitely not looking forward to that." Y/n rolled her eyes and looked at Kelsey. "It won't be that bad, just have Sammy hold your hand for ya." She said this when Sam got in and shut his door, making him roll his eyes as well. "Do me a favor, shut up, Y/n." Dean started cracking up, punching the steering wheel and snorting loudly. "Ohhhh! You done been told, Y/n!" Kelsey shouted, also laughing alongside Dean. Y/n buried her head in Castiel's shoulder in an attempt to hide from the rest of the world in secrecy*, Cas, however, had other plans. "Silence." He spoke only a single word, but it was powerful and full of authority. The car almost immediately fell into tranquility*.
Dean was the first one to break the silence by coughing and rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand. "I'm sorry, Y/n." He muttered as a half assed attempt at an apology. Y/n unburied herself from Cas' coat. "It's fine." She said quietly, hoping nobody would hear her. "No, it most certainly is not 'fine'." Castiel had heard Y/n's soft answer, and he was furious with everyone in the car apart from her. "Yes it is Cas. Can we just go get these tattoos, the ID's, and get on with the case?" It took a full two minutes before Cas replied with a quick 'yes'. Dean started the car, and they began driving. Since Y/n didn't want any conflict, Cas decided to settle with glaring at the back of Dean's skull the entire trip to the tattoo parlor.
-Time Skip Brought To You By One Hell Of A Butler-
The tattoo parlor located at 725 North 2nd street was a small, quaint tattoo shop, with a pizza store at its neighboring left-hand side. A sign in the window of the tattoo shop read: 'Welcome to Skin Illustrations™, We're Open!'. Dean decided since he had no business in the shop, that he'd check out the pizza parlor next door. He also promised to act 'civil' and to not punch anyone who looked at him sideways. Y/n left Levi napping in the car and everyone else stepped out.
As the group of four walked into the tattoo shop a small bell on the door rang, letting the employees know of the presence of potential customers. Two tattoo artists walked up to the counter, they were twins. "Welcome to Skin Illustrations!" They spoke in unison, both mimicking each other's tone of voice perfectly. "How may we help you today?" The twins were alike in almost every way, from their hair color down to their tattoos. The only difference was how they parted their hair, the twin on the left parted his hair to the right while the twin on the right parted his hair to the left, and their eyes. The right twin's left eye was blue and the other was green, while the left twin's right eye was blue and the other green. They basically mirrored each other. "My name is Carter," said the left twin. "And mine is James," said the right twin immediately after. "What are your thoughts on your tattoos today?" They spoke, once again, in unison.
"Yeah, hello." Sam smiled as he spoke, and gestured to Y/n and Kelsey. "These two need to get matching tattoos, um," he pulled the left hand collar of his shirt down to reveal his anti demon possession tattoo, "this is what they want." James and Carter looked at each other and smiled. "Well," James started, "Matching is our specialty." Carter finished. Sam nodded, but turned to Castiel to ask him a question. "Cas, do you have your tattoo?" Cas shook his head no, wrapped an arm around Y/n casually. "I don't think I do." Sam chuckled, looking back to the twins at the counter. "Looks like all three of them need matching tattoos." James and Carter walked out from behind the counter smirking, James walking to a curtain in the back and Carter walking up to the trio of Kelsey, Castiel, and Y/n. "Matthew!" James called to the back, cupping his hand around his mouth to project the sound. "You have a customer!" From the back there were light footsteps, then the curtain opened, revealing another man. The man looked exactly like a photo copy of James and Carter, except he parted his hair in the middle, and both of his eyes were blue-ish green. "Welcome!" He exclaimed with a bright smile. "Who will I be gracing with a work of art today?" Sam patted Cas on the back. "This fellow right here, his name is Castiel, but we call him Cas." Matthew smiled, showing off his glimmering teeth. "Castiel! Come over here, my good man."
James took Kelsey to his chair in the front, Carter took Y/n to his chair in the back left hand side, and Matthew took Castiel to the chair two spaces away from Y/n.
The journey was half way over.
