After calling Y/N and then calling Loona, Blitzø and the others returned to I.M.P. to regroup and recollect their thoughts, but Blitzø stayed outside to meet up with Y/N. He continued to wait, but after a while, he heard a portal opening and looked to see Y/N as he sighed.

Y/N: I was wondering when one of you was gonna call me.

Blitzø: You'd be surprised. Listen, N/N, I know that after everything that went down, you're still... recovering from that, but-

Y/N: I'm over it.

Blitzø: What?

Y/N: I'm over the whole thing. Honestly, I... I wasn't proud of what I did to you guys. And... I'm sorry.

Blitzø: ... Apology accepted. But, I'm not the one you should be apologizing to. Follow me.

Y/N followed Blitzø into I.M.P. and to the elevator. After a while, they made it to the office, but Y/N gasped as he noticed...

Y/N: L-Loona?

Loona: N/N...

They both continued to stare at each other, but they both felt scared and nervous to even speak to each other.

Blitzø: I'll... give you two some time alone. *walks away*

Y/N: ...

Loona: ...

Y/N: ... Loona... I-

Loona: N/N, I'm sorry!

Y/N: What?

Loona: For everything. I was a terrible friend to you.

Y/N: Loona-

Loona: Let me finish! Please...

Y/N: O-Okay.

Loona: I know that I broke our promise and I... I hurt you because of that and... I'm sorry. Throughout my life, I've never had a friend. I was used, lied to, everything. I'm not used to this kind of friendship. And because of that...

She did what she could to hold it together, but she slowly started to cry as she expressed how she felt towards him.

Loona: I... I hurt you. I was a terrible friend. And now, it's thanks to me that you had to run away. I don't mind if you hate me, N/N. I deserve it. Especially after what happened at the beach. ... But, I want you to know that I truly valued our friendship and our promise. I've always viewed you as one of us. In fact, I always thought of you as my big brother. You were... always there for me when I needed you and despite the fact that I was an asshole my whole life, you never left me. Until last week. *starts crying* And it's all my fault.

As Loona continued to express herself, Y/N just stood there as he listened.

Loona: *crying* It's my fault you had to leave! And I know that there's nothing that I can do to make it up for what I did, but I want to try, because for the first time, I... I felt something between us and it felt so good! I didn't want it to go away. That's why I wanted to stay with you. Because you have this... this... strange aura that makes me feel like I can become someone better than what I am, now! And it's thanks to you that Blitzø was able to become a better father than he has ever been, but then... I had to come along and ruin everything!

Y/N has never seen Loona like this before, despite the fact that he has been with her for a long time. However, seeing Loona like this made his heart ache in pain and he was on the verge of shedding his own tears.

Loona: *crying* Ever since you left IMP, I've hated myself for what I did and what I had become! Fuck, I even hated my existence! I hated everything about this goddamn shit hole! And I know that I may be a hellhound, N/N, but Hell was still Hell! I hated myself so much that there were times that I tried to kill myself in order to end the pain and suffering I had to endure ever since I was a little puppy! I even tried to run away, but nothing I did has worked because my life has been nothing but worthless and hopeless! ... But... You being a part of my life... has made everything be worth living. And I'm sick and tired of hiding all of this because I was afraid! Scared! Just like how I was when I was in the orphanage. But, N/N, it's time I came clean... and tell you how I feel...

She wiped her tears and approached Y/N. She then held his hands and stared at him in the eyes.

Loona: *crying* ... I love you, N/N. And I'm not talking about it in a sibling way. I really do love you! And I want to be with you for the rest of my life because you are the sole purpose of me being happy. Being with you and loving you has made everything worth living in this hellhole. And there's so much I want to say to you, but I can't find anything else to say to you other than this. And... I love you.

Y/N: Loona...

She then kissed him on the lips and Y/N was shocked and stunned to know that Loona, of all people, would love him that deeply to the point she wanted to kiss him. And judging by how long and deep the kiss was, Y/N knew that Loona was really into this and was telling the truth. After a while, she pulled away from his lips to breathe and backed away from him.

Loona: *wipes tears away* There. I told you everything that was in my heart. I've felt this way ever since the day we trained together. And I've been hiding all of this away because I was scared of how you would react to this, but... I'm done being afraid. I'm done living my life in fear and hopelessness. Despite the fact that you're a hybrid and a freak of nature, you're the most handsomest hybrid I've ever seen or met. And... I don't mean to make this sound wrong, but I'm glad that someone as pure, kind-hearted, and innocent like you is here in Hell because you're the kind of person I want in my life. So, there. That's how I feel. That's how much I love you. So...? What do you have to say?

Y/N: ...

Loona: N/N?

Y/N couldn't find the words needed to talk to her because he was speechless to what Loona has confessed to her. He felt bad for not responding to her, but what could he say that could match what she said?

Loona: *sniffles & wipes tears away* Goddamnit, N/N! Say something!

Y/N: ...

Loona: *crying* ... You know what? If you don't feel the same way, that's fine! I understand! How can someone like you love a monster like me, anyway? How can you love someone that murders people without giving them a second chance?

Y/N couldn't stand just standing there and listen to Loona insult and hurt herself. He clenched his fists and growled.

Loona: ... I want to change who I am, but Lucifer won't let me! How am I supposed to-

In a swift motion, Y/N hugged Loona as hard as he could and Loona gasped.

Y/N: Stop blaming yourself for everything, Loona. And stop hurting yourself because there is nothing wrong with you. You're perfect just the way you are. To me, you're the kind of person who doesn't deserve to suffer or be alone. I'm sorry for being silent throughout your confession, but I want you to know something.

He then lets go of Loona, but he placed his hands on her shoulders and wiped away Loona's tears.

Y/N: If there's anyone to blame, it's me. I was the one who was stupid! All because of some shitty promise I made to you! It's my fault that our friendship ended. I chose to make that promise because my whole life, I had lived a calm and peaceful life. You may think I'm lucky, but I'm not. Those peaceful times has made me soft and idiotic. I was scared of you because you were an assassin.

Loona: ...

Y/N: I wanted to make that promise because I wanted to change you. And that was selfish of me to do so. And now, I let that promise overweight our friendship. If anything, I deserve to be hated. I'm sorry, Loona. I know I said that I never wanted to hurt you... *starts crying* But... I ended up doing it, anyways. And I'm sorry.

Loona: N/N...

Y/N: *wipes tears away* Out of everything that happened in this Hell, you are the reason why I wanted to stay in Hell because I love you, too, Loona. You... You were everything I wanted to be. You were perfect. But, because of my idiotic and naive behavior, I could never become someone as fierce and amazing as you. And after I found out about your past life before all of this, it was too much for me to ignore because you don't deserve to suffer. And I'm sorry if you did after our friendship ended. But, things are gonna be different, now.

He then kissed Loona's cheek and brushed his hand in her hair.

Y/N: Because I love you, Loona. I love you more than anything in my life. You're the best hellhound I've ever met. And you're right. Since I met Vortex, I was jealous. Jealous because of how he looked. I wanted to be the one to make you happy and I let that jealousy judge my thinking and my feelings. And that was selfish of me. ... Loona, I don't want you to insult or hurt yourself just because you think it's all your fault. I hate seeing you like this. And I hate to see such a pretty face like yours go to waste, makeup or not.

Loona: *chuckles & sniffles* Y-You think I'm pretty?

Y/N: I think you're everything positive. Listen, you may think you're a monster, but you're my monster. Because I love you.

Loona: *smiles* Thanks, N/N.

Y/N: No problem... Loonie.

Loona felt Y/N boop her nose and she giggled as she looked away and hid her face behind her hair. Y/N brushed it away and pulled her face to look at him. As they both stared at each other in the eyes, they both slowly closed in the gap and kissed, but Loona pushed him back.

Y/N: Loona?

She then turned into a human and looked at him.

Loona: I-I figured that since we were gonna kiss, I'd get properly dressed for the moment we're about to have. Besides, I don't want it to be weird between us since you're into human girls.

Y/N: Loona... Who said I was into human girls?

Loona: Huh?

Y/N: Hey, I did say that I've never been in a relationship before, but that was because I was never really into the women that were on the mortal plane.

Loona: Why?

Y/N: *smiles* Because they all pale in comparison to you and your beautiful looks.

Loona: *blushes* ...

Y/N: Hey, Loona. I don't want you to pretend to be something you're not in order for me to love you. You're perfect just the way you are, human disguise or not. But, I don't want you to let this human disguise affect you, your thinking, and your feelings towards me. Okay? Sometimes, everyone likes it when people's true colors are revealed. Just like how I like yours. So, come on, Loona. Ditch the disguise so that I can be with the real you.

Loona smiled and didn't hesitate to turn back into a hellhound. After she did, they both looked at each other and held each other's hands.

Y/N: I always did like your smile. It makes me feel good, knowing that you're happy. Plus, I think it's cute. Just like you.

Loona blushed and looked away as her tail started wagging happily like crazy.

Loona: *blushing* S-Shut up, N/N. I'm not cute.

Y/N: Why do you think that? What's wrong with looking cute? Because you're a badass hellhound? Loona, there's nothing wrong with being human and being a softie. It's what makes you all-the-more lovely. Come on. Lighten up a bit and let loose. I won't judge.

Loona never thought that Y/N, of all people, would say that to her. The fact that she's allowed to be herself and let loose around him has made her more happy than she's ever been before.

Loona: *blushing* ... T-Then, I-I have n-nothing to worry about, after all.

Y/N: *smiles* ...

Loona: *blushing* I-I'm sorry, N/N. I know that I-I look like a m-mess, but I-I've never been in this position b-before. I've... never had any experience with this before.

Y/N: Loona, you're not a mess. You're anything but that. I love you, Loonie.

Loona: *blushing* ... I-I love you, too, N/N.

They both smiled, but as they stared at each other's eyes, they began to feel lost and were starting to lose control of their bodies as they slowly leaned in.

Loona: N/N... I...

Y/N: It's alright, Loona. Just let it happen.

Loona: I intend to do so.

They both then closed their eyes and finally, they felt their lips press against each other as they finally kissed. They both were enjoying every second of the kiss so much that they wrapped their arms around each other and continued to kiss as long and hard as they could. As they did, outside the office, Blitzø, Moxxie, and Millie saw the whole thing. Millie smiled as she held her heart, Moxxie crossed his arms and smiled softly, and Blitzø wiped away a few tears as he watched the whole thing.

Moxxie: Sir, are you crying?

Blitzø: *crying* What? N-No! I'm not crying! ... You know what? I am. I'm just so proud of my little Loonie because she finally has someone special to be with.

Millie: Wait, you're not mad that Y/N and Loona are together?

Blitzø: *wipes tears away* Why would I be? I was hoping this would happen.

Millie: Honestly, I was, too. I always did find those two so cute together.

Moxxie: Yeah. Me, too, I guess.

Both Y/N and Loona heard them, but they didn't care. All they cared about was their kiss. But, out of nowhere, as they kissed, Loona's wagging tail and Y/N's both slowly started to intertwine with each other and they were fully wrapped around each other.

Moxxie: Okay, that's really cute.

Millie: *muffled screams* I can't believe this is happening!

Blitzø: Oh, Loonie...

After a while, they both pulled away from the kiss in order to catch their breaths and panted heavily. They both looked at each other's tails and back at their eyes as they smiled.

Y/N: Well, this is something else.

Loona: Yeah. But, I really enjoyed it.

Y/N: *smiles* Me, too. But, as much as I would love to continue this, should we tell Blitzø and the others to come out of hiding and get on with our job?

Loona: Y-You're going to stay with us?

Y/N: Yeah. I'm here to stay. And yours to keep, Loona.

Loona: *smiles* Good to hear.

Y/N: Hey, guys! We know you're back there! Come on out! The show's over!

Blitzø: Sorry, guys, but that was absolutely beautiful.

Millie: It was adorable!

Y/N: Thanks. So, shall we get on with our job?

Blitzø: O-Oh, yes! Right. Getting back on track! E-Everyone, to the meeting room!

Everyone walked away, but Y/N and Loona held each other's hands and followed the others.

Y/N: I love you, Loonie.

Loona: I love you, too, N/N.
