The Pedagogue || Bill S. Preston Esquire

for my love videonasty

The bitter truth was that Bill was indeed heinously failing US History. In particular, he was this semester of US History. Luckily, if he passes this major exam, he'll scrape by with a B.  He would've dragged Ted along to another excellent adventure, perhaps kidnap Douglas MacArthur or something but that didn't happen.

No, instead Mr. Ryan recommended a tutor to Bill, which didn't seem all too appealing until he found out who its was.

The tutor was [Name] [Surname] and she was an absolute babe. She was a real history nerd too, her particular favorite was learning about the Pacific Ocean Theater of World World II. The only reason why Bill knew that because he couldn't tear his eyes away from the [hair color] haired girl and her fun facts about WWII.

While she favored learning about WWII, she was stupendous at other eras in the United States such as the Civil War, Reconstruction Era, and the Gilded Age.

Which was fortunate for Bill because he needed to know that before Mr. Ryan handed the 113 question exam.

He much rather just go through the circuits of time and talk to the historical figures themselves but being tutored by [Name] wasn't too bad at all.

Plus, Rufus insisted that Bill must be tutored by [Name] for whatever reason.

But Bill's train of thought about [Name] came to an abrupt end as Misty, I mean mom, calls out for him.

"Bill, a girl named [Name] is at the front door!" Misty calls from downstairs.

Bill hurried downstairs, seeing both Misty and [Name] at the front door. The sight was rather great minus the crap load of textbooks [Name] carried.

"Hey Bill." [Name] smiled, speaking softly.

"Uh, hey [Name]! What's up?" Bill sheepishly greeted with a grin.

"Ready to study?" She asked, readjusting her grip on the textbooks.

"Not really...do you need help?" Bill asks, usually Ted carries the textbooks but Ted isn't here.

"I'm good. Show me the way to your room." [Name] calmly states, which astonishes Bill because he felt like he just ran twenty miles.

A bodacious babe was going to his room.

Which was awesome, until like half an hour into studying when [Name] grew somewhat frustrated with him.

Angry girls in general seemed odious and something Bill would like to avoid twenty-four-seven.

The two were sitting on Bill's bed, various history textbooks sprawled all over the covers.

Truthfully, [Name] could talk about how much she disliked Andrew Johnson as president during the Reconstruction Era or explain the Haymarket riot but Bill wouldn't hear a damn thing.

Instead, he felt like he was in a bizarre trance where the only thing in world that seemed interesting was the shape of [Name]'s lips or the color of her eyes, which gleamed brightly when she talked about her passion -- history.

Not to mention, she smelt good. He wasn't a creep, but the fragrance of her perfume was slightly evident. Not a strong obnoxious smell, but light and refreshing.

[Name]'s hair was winsome and seemed so healthy, not dry like Dana Roth's hair. Honestly, he could probably go on about how mind-blowing she was.

"...Bill?" [Name] called him out, dispelling his trance.

"Yeah?" He replied back, suddenly feel dazed.

[Name] was just drop-dead gorgeous. Sure, his time with the Princesses were great and all, but they didn't evoked the same feelings [Name] did.

At least not anymore.

"Which union group was involved in the Haymarket Riot?" She questioned, presuming that Bill wasn't listening to a word she said.

"Uh...The Populists?" Bill answered with an abashed grin.

[Name] sighed heavily, "Bill, The Populists was a political party that died out after the election of 1896. The union that was involved in the Haymarket Riot was the Knights of Labor. You know, I do want you to pass Mr. Ryan's exam but you're not listening."

Bill felt a bit more rueful about not listening, [Name] genuinely wanted him to pass. She didn't see his obvious struggle in history as a extra credit opportunity but instead she cared.

Cute and caring! She was like the whole package.

"I'd pay attention more but it's hard when you're so tantalizing." He bluntly admitted, not thinking twice about his statement.

"Really?" [Name] questioned, appearing stunned and flushed.

Bill nodded, "Yeah."

Bill didn't feel embarrassed about admitting how great [Name] looked. He really meant it.

"Well...I think you're cute too and I wouldn't mind going on a date with you sometime. BUT you have to pass this exam so please start listening." [Name] revealed, smiling and seeming less agitated compared to before. If anything, she was still blushing.

But to be honest, this was the most excellent news ever. The hot babe returned his feelings!

Now, he just has to pass 113 question exam in order to date the babe.

"You can totally count on me passing." Bill responded back with a goofy smile.

He can't wait to tell Ted.

author's note:

I'm sorry this request is incredibly short (825 words) or if Bill seems OOC. I haven't felt inspired to write due to how I'm feeling towards fandom and for other reasons. I might write a sequel or part-two to this IF Bill passes his exam. ;-)

Honestly, I'm in AP US History so I've taken things I've been learning the past month and added into the story.

Also, because I haven't felt inspired and my recent works have been mediocre, my requests might be shorter and/or take longer to complete.

Even if this sucks, I hope you enjoyed it, Sarah.
