"What?" Snuffy exclaimed, feeling flabbergasted and a bit frightened.

"Come on, Snuff! Can you? Just until I'm out of the Dean's office?" Billy pleaded, which was a rare sight to behold.

But nevertheless, Snuffy felt incredibly reluctant to commit himself to this favor.

"I don't know, dude..." Snuffy mumbled indecisively, which seemed a bit out of character for him.

"It's just my sister! What's the worst that can happen?" Billy urged on.

'A lot! Anything that can go wrong WILL go wrong!' Snuffy thought to himself. He then spoke once more, "Can't anyone else handle [Name] for a few hours?"

"No! Phil and Joey is stuck with me in detention, and Ricky has a test coming up. Hank is on a date – finally." Billy replied, growing a bit frustrated. Honestly, what did Snuffy think? That [Name] was going bite his head off or something?

Snuffy soon came to the conclusion that Billy wasn't willing to take "no" for an answer, and sighed.

"Fine Tepper, I'll hang out with your sister while you rot in detention." Snuffy accepted, albeit it was a reluctant acceptance.

"Thanks buddy, I knew I could always count on you. She'll be arriving around 3:00 PM." Billy thanked, and Snuffy felt the anxiety rushing through his veins.

Thing is that Jonathan "Snuffy" Bradberry was quite infatuated with [Name] Tepper. While he tried to achieve a calm and suave look around other girls, he was a nervous wreck around [Name].

Plus, she was quite intimidating, especially her personality. She was direct, mischievous (almost worst than Billy), and had leadership qualities.

Honestly, she truly was Billy's female version, considering they're twins. But [Name] was a lot more sassy, and usually won fights against her brother.

She always thought ahead, devising plans and causing chaos at the neighboring girls' school.

Every three weeks, towards the end of the month, The Tepper siblings found to time hangout with each other, but Billy screwed up this time. Snuffy hoped [Name] wouldn't be too upset about seeing him rather than her brother.

Honestly, Snuffy was ready to head back to his room and sleep away the anxiety of seeing the girl of his dreams tomorrow.

Damn, whatever Billy did better be worth getting in trouble.

Snuffy felt as if the whole world had stopped spinning, and he couldn't breathe.

She was just so breathtaking, and he hate to be soft, but he couldn't help it. If there's anyone who deserves the soft side of Snuffy Bradberry, it was most definitely [Name] Tepper.

The girl walked towards him, both of them meeting up at the front of Regis High. When [Name] walked, it seemed as she had the whole world on her shoulders.

Snuffy wondered if she felt the boring eyes of the other students of Regis, who watched her inch closer and closer to him.

"So Snuff, what did Billy do this time?" [Name] questioned, ditching any formalities or greetings. Snuffy didn't mind, he knew the Tepper siblings long enough, so formalities didn't matter.

"I don't really know much of the details, but it's somewhere around the lines of tie dyeing the Dean's clothing." Snuffy said nervously, and suddenly a cigarette seemed really great.

Too bad [Name] doesn't really like him smoking, especially when he has asthma.

But the girl merely shrugs off the reply, "Figures, Billy would be dumb enough to get in trouble while I'm visiting. Anyway, what's the plan, hotshot?"

"Plan? Oh uh, I'm not really sure? I'm open to ideas though. Hank might had board games or something." Snuffy said, but he mentally want to pinch himself. Board games? Really?

"Yeah? I bet I'd kick your ass at Monopoly." [Name] joked, a grin adorned on her face.

"Honestly, you'd probably would." Snuffy said, feeling butterflies from [Name]'s smile. The roles seemed so reversed, here he was, acting like the blushing schoolgirl.

In fact, the two had ended up playing a few board games in Snuffy's room. Time seemed to pass by when you're having fun, well, at least Snuffy was having fun.

"So, did you hear that our schools are coordinating a dance together?" Snuffy decided to bring up as he cleaned up the board game. They're were completely done with board games now.

"Oh yeah, I did. I wonder how the rules are going to be enforce, especially when that dance is going to be the first time some people have seen the opposite gender." [Name] wondered, helping Snuffy organize the board game's book.

"Yeah, I wasn't really sure if I was going. I mean, if I did, it was to pull an elaborate prank. But other than that, I'd have no reason to go." Snuffy mumbles, revealing his dilemma.

"We can go together if you want." [Name] said as if it was no big deal, and maybe it wasn't.

"What? Really? Would Billy be okay with that?"  Snuffy asked, feeling perplexed.

"Well, first, I don't give a shit about what Billy thinks. He's a dweeb! Also, Jonathan, you'd be a cool dance partner. Except I can't really dance to save my life, so don't expect much from me." [Name] said, her answer solid. She might've been popular between both Regis and her own school, but reputation didn't really matter to her.

So what if her date was Jonathan "Snuffy" Bradberry? He's cute. Not to mention, after high school, reputation doesn't matter. No gives a shit whether you were a varsity cheerleader or homecoming queen. Soon enough, you'll ended up being another face in the workforce.

Instead of relishing in her popularity, [Name] wanted to spend it with guys she actually liked.

After a few moments of registering this newly given information, Snuffy broke out into a huge joyous grin.

He scored a date with a hot babe, also known as the love of his short life, without doing much! Billy might have some protests against it, but once again, who cares?

"I'm really glad I met you, [Name]." Snuffy confessed honestly, feeling so jovial and infatuated.

"Feeling is mutual, dude. You're cute, I'll keep you for awhile. Maybe forever, who knows? Anyway, I have an idea. Is there a vending machine around here?" [Name] asked, a familiar spark enlightening in her eyes.

And Snuffy knew what he was going to get dragged in, especially when Billy had the same look when he wanted to do a prank.

"Yeah, it's down the hall. Why?" Snuffy asked.

"We're gonna replace the snacks in the vending machine with as much of  Billy's stuff as possible." [Name] revealed, a devious smirk growing on her face. Honestly, this was payback for the last prank Billy pulled when she visited last time.

"Oh boy, and how do you plan on doing that?" Snuffy inquired. He knew if he followed with [Name]'s plan, he'd end up in detention too. Plus, Billy would try and rip his head off.

Oh well!

"You'll see! Pretty neat idea for a first date, right?" [Name] asked, standing up, taking Snuffy's hand and pulling him up too before dragging him out the door.

"First date?" Snuffy asked, feeling pleasantly surprised, and he felt his face grow hot. Not only did [Name] ask him to the dance, but she's holding his hand and calling this day a date.

"Yup! And you better get used to me, because you might not be able to get rid of me!"

Well, it's not like Snuffy really wanted her away anyway.
