Chapter 26: The Temporal Invader, Part 2

Barry couldn't think anymore. He couldn't feel anymore. Len had broken him.

He wondered why he couldn't seem to feel anything. When he ran to his room, he kept bumping into stuff, but he couldn't feel it. It was like he was numb to everything.

He suddenly realized that he didn't know where he was going anymore. He walked into a room to see that it was the MedBay. That was not what he was expecting.

"Gideon?" he asked. "Yes, Mr. Allen?" she said politely. "Can you make the pain go away?" he asked. "I'm sorry, but no. But I can prescribe a sedative," she offered.

Barry thought it over. If he was asleep, then he couldn't think. "That would be perfect, Gideon. Thank you," he said. He lie down on the table and closed his eyes.

...

'Bob' walked in to the main room. Every single Legend was in the room, minus Len. They all attacked him, and he lost.

They locked him up in the prison while he was unconscious.

...

Len walked into the main room when he started to get a headache. He closed his eyes, and what felt like hours later, he distantly heard a thump. As him conscious faded, he realized that that thump had been his body.

...

Sara was walking down the walls when she heard a loud thump that sounded suspiciously like a body hitting the ground.

She ran over to the sound to see Len lying on the ground, completely out.

...

She immediately ran him to the MedBay, only to see Barry thrashing around in his sleep. "Gideon?" she asked. "He wanted a sedative," Gideon asked. Sara looked at the body in her arms. "Can you figure out what's wrong with him?" she asked. "Probably," Gideon confirmed.

...

After an hour, Gideon still hadn't figured it out. "I'm sorry, Captain, but I don't know," Gideon said. Sara sighed. "Oh well," she said to herself. "I'll ask him when he wakes up."

Sara had a sudden thought. "Could you wake up Barry, please?" Sara asked. "I could..." Gideon said. "But he wouldn't want me to." Sara rolled her eyes. "Gideon, please," she begged. If Gideon had eyes, she would have rolled them. "Yes, Captain," Gideon said.

Suddenly, Len woke up. He looked around, but Gideon had timed it just right. Barry woke up the same time as he did.

...

Note: Len won't remember anything he did under the influence. At all. Very important you know that.

Man, I was so tempted to end the chapter here.

...

'Bob' looked around. Where was he?

He must be in their version of a prison.

Ugh.

This was going to be annoying to break out of.

...

Barry woke up in complete terror, just like always. His nightmare had been a re-play of what Len had said to him and Len raping him.

He looked over at the next bed to see Len smiling at him. He gasped and leaped off the bed. He didn't even notice Sara, and even if he had, he wouldn't have cared.

Len looked at him in confusion. "Barry?" he asked. "Get the fuck out of here," Barry said, staring him right in the eye. "Why?" Len asked, but Barry had already shifted his focus.

"Gideon?" he asked. "Yes, Mr. Allen?" Gideon replied. "Can I have another sedative?" Barry asked. "Can Captain Lance talk to you first?" Gideon said as way of answer.

Barry spun around and finally notice Sara staring at him with a weird look on her face. "What is wrong with you, Barry?" Sara asked. Barry looked down. "Nothing," he said. Sara looked livid. "That was not nothing, Barry! You never cuss, and you seemed to be getting buddy buddy with Snart recently, so why are you acting like you never want him near you again?" Sara shouted.

Barry gulped. "None. Of. Your. Damn. Business," Barry said quietly. Sara looked him. "Barry, don't you dare speak to me like that. Ever." Barry looked at her and she could see complete fury in his eyes.

Suddenly, she was pressed against the wall, Barry's hand on her throat. "I won't, as long as you don't ask about stuff that has nothing to do with you."

Sara was either bold, or stupid.

"Anything that has to do with my crew members acting like that toward each other is my business," Sara said. Barry deflated a little, and Sara immediately took advantage. She had him pinned to the wall in seconds.

He started to hyperventilate. "Please," he begged quietly, then flinched like he thought he was going to be slapped. Sara let go of him in shock. "Barry?" she asked again. He looked at her, and she could see unshed tears in his eyes.

Suddenly, she felt a gust of wind and Barry was gone.

...

Barry felt tears in his eyes. He was done. Everything good about his life was gone. Cisco hated him, Caitlin would kill him, Iris didn't love him, Len didn't love him, and no one else cared about him that much.

...

Note: Barry seriously needs to take his own advice.

...

No one would miss him.

What if he could sleep forever with no nightmares?

Never deal with Sara again, never deal with the new Flashpoint, the old one, Len, his family, being the Flash, everything.

He knew it was possible, and easy, so why not just do it?

Because it was cowardly.

Who cared? No one. That was the whole point.

He needed to find a way around his super healing, but that shouldn't be too hard. Finding a way and a place would be the hard part.

...

He finally decided on hanging and in his room, locked.

Hopefully they wouldn't stop him.
