I did this for ano's contest and it took forever cause i made a 'draft' version then I proceeded with the final version although even the final version has some problems and i need to tweak it a little bit. the challenge was to make a cover based on the plot of the book assigned and flip it around. what i mean by that is if your book is a teen fiction contemporary, we would have to make it to a dark fantasy and vice versa. my book was 'Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen', I have heard of Sarah Dessen books before but I never got the chance to read it, from what i saw on wikepedia it was a realistic contemporary book so i turned it into a victorian steampunk fantasy book cover.

This is Lock and Key 1.0 (i guess i could call it that)

After some critiques and suggestions, I made version 2.0 which is a whole lot better than the first.

I'm really proud of this since it took forever coming up with the concept, gathering resources, and going through a lot for the final cover.
