┍M┚ɪᴀ ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛᴜᴀʟʟʏ ʀᴏsᴇ ᴜᴘ ғʀᴏᴍ ᴛʜᴇ ғʟᴏᴏʀ, after checking that Ginger was alright. Taking the pot of sugar, she headed back to the main section of the tavern. Sirius was playing with the ends of her frayed scarf, looking more bored than on a double period of A History of Magic.

Mia walked over to his side, his head at her torso. Gently playing with his shoulder length hair, she carefully tilted his head back and whispered, "Peekaboo."

"What held you up?" He asked, leaning his head back onto her waist, closing his eyes as he felt her fingers entwine with strands of his black locks.

"Oh. There was a conundrum in the kitchen so I had to wait a bit." She decided not to mention the weird teenager who seemed to pop in and out, almost hell bent on getting Mia to stay away from Sirius. "Oh yeah, the sugar!"

Scooting over to the left, Mia gently opened the can sized jar of sugar before scooping out a teaspoon. She watched as Sirius slowly stuck out his tongue.

"Okay, don't move or make me shake my arm." She whispered before shakily applying the sugar to his reddened tongue. "Done." Sirius retracted his tongue promptly.

"Wanna kiss it better?" He asked, joking. Mia chuckled sarcastically before leaning forward and pressing her lips to his, almost automatically fuelling the fire in both of their loins once more.

James Potter and Lily Evans were walking into the tavern when they immediately noticed the couple. The black haired animagus immediately cupped his hands around his mouth and bellowed, "Get a room!" His redhead girlfriend immediately blushed as everyone in the tavern turned to them before turning their heads towards Sirius and Mia.

Sirius tolled his eyes at his best friend, who waved at the couple before ushering Lily to a secluded booth.

"Wanna go home?" Mia asked, tucking a strand of his hair behind his left ear before leaning her head on his shoulder. "It's getting dark."

"Sure, mi'lady." He flipped her in front of him and stood up, immediately making their height difference more apparent.

"You're doing this on purpose." She mumbled, looking up at his face before slowly lowering her eyes down to his feet that were on their tip toes. "Cheat!"

"I'm still taller." He chuckled.

"By like ten centimetres." She retorted, smiling so much that she could feel her cheeks starting to ache. Turning so that she could take a glimpse at the ever darkening sky from the triangular tavern window, she didn't notice Sirius take a few steps forward until she felt his hot breath, making the hairs on her neck stand on end. In a good way.

"I could name something else longer than ten centimetres." He slowly said, making her laugh. "Depends on if you can last six minutes."

"I pity your exes if you think six minutes is forever." She abruptly spun around, placing her hands on his leather jacket covered chest. "Let's go back."

"And?"

"And what?" She joked, gently tracing his jawline with her index finger. She let her finger go around his jawline before he smashed his lips upon hers and all he could think about was the taste of her cherry chapstick.

She watched from afar as the couple laughed and walked up the snowy path back to the castle. Angry tears littered her face as she shakingly looked down at the necklace she was wearing. The hourglass on the necklace glimmered in the pale moonlight as she walked on, leaving behind deep footprints from her battered Converses.

"You absolute fools." She whispered, stopping in her path as she realised that she would be seen by them if she continued on.

"Come back, Sylvia." A voice shook her from her thoughts as an old woman dressed in emerald green walked up to her from the dark woods.

"Minnie?" She whispered, "I have to stop them! Please let me stop them!" The professor simply engulfed the teenager into a hug. "They don't know what they're gonna cause tonight, I can stop them!"

"Everything is set in stone, Sylvia. All you'd be doing is confusing yourself with timelines. Please, cease this reckless behaviour!" McGonagall snapped, grabbing the girl by the shoulders before pulling out her time turner.

"No!" The girl struggled in her grasp but gave up. "Don't do this to me, Professor!" The Scottish woman simply wrapped the necklace around the both of them before turning the little knob on the hourglass.

And then they vanished into thin air.

The fireplace emitted crackling sounds, similar to a bowl of milk and cereal. They sat in front of it, silence from both of them. Grey eyes into brown, brown into grey. Sirius realised just how stunning her brown eyes were, as they looked like molten honey in the fire light.

Mia carefully got up from her spot and pulled him up with her, kissing him softly before pulling him with her to the Ravenclaw girls' dormitory.

"I fucking love you," She whispered, as he peppered chaste kisses down her chest. He looked up at her, before replying softly with an "I love you too."
