What is Cosmic Consciousness?

It is a higher form of consciousness than that possessed by the ordinary man.

An ordinary man possesses Self Consciousness, while an animal possesses Simple Consciousness.

This Cosmic consciousness shows that the cosmos is not only governed by dead matter of rigid, unintending law, but also on entirely spiritual, unmaterial and entirely alive; it shows that death is an absurdity and that everyone has an eternal life; it shows that the universe is god and god is universe; it is above self-consciousness and this is undoubtedly true.

Hence, we can say that the universe is god and it is eternal.

And, all these great people in history had come to conclusions using this method of cosmic consciousness.

Not only Tulsidas, but there are also other people who have used this to invent fantabulous things.

For instance, Maharishi Kannad, a 600 BCE philosopher discovered the atomic theory way before Dalton did and it was found to be 99% similar. But still we study the so called 'Dalton's atomic theory'. This is not wrong; just that, the credit shouldn't completely go to him.

Hence, from the concept of Cosmic Consciousness we can say that, the universe is god and it's eternal. In fact, many today believe in this ideology. This ideology is known as Pantheism.

Pantheism is the belief that the universe (or nature as the totality of everything) is identical with divinity, or that everything composes an all-encompassing, immanent God. 

Pantheists do not believe in a distinct personal or anthropomorphic god.

But the truth lies deeper within this.
