OMFG !! I'm dying !! He's Hunter's little brother ?!?

I just start to laugh out everything onto Hunter's chest as people at the airport start to stare at me !! I don't even care anymore because this is just too funny to me !!

We were on the highway in pure silence. I glance over at Selena staring out the window while Riley was listening to music in the back. Okay, this car ride is getting boring.

"So, um Gonzalez ?" I spoke up. She looked over at me and I continued, "So, how did you find Riley ? I didn't even tell you I was looking for him."

Out of no where she started to giggle a little bit. In a matter of two seconds her giggles turned into hysterical screams. It even made Riley look up from his phone. I'm sorry, what am I missing here ?

"Look Hunter, I didn't look for him, he came to me" she said still laughing in the process, "You taught your little brother alright. He thinks I'm some kind of cougar"

Riley looked up smirking "Hey baby it's okay. I like me some cougars"

He winked and that drove Gonzalez insane. She was now clutching her stomach in pain from laughing too much !

"As if I'd date you Riley ! Stick to your little freshmen bait."

"Hey ! A guy can try. You know one day my brother is gonna be gone and I'll be there to take his place"

"Well I'll savor all the time I have with him buddy"

"You do that babe"

Even I'm chuckling now. I really did miss my little brother. When he was in middle school; he was fucking up.

A LOT

So our parents decided to send him off to Plum Martin Military Academy; which so happened to be right by our Aunt Marggie's house. They sent him off to New Hampshire while Sharon and I stayed in Maryland.

Him and I Kik every chance we get and stay as close as we were before. He even told me about this girl he met at Sweet Frog.

I think her name was Piper. He said her name was like Piper Terry or something like that. He got her number and now they keep in touch and all that.

Buzzzzzzz Buzzzzz

The vibration made me focus back to reality. Holy shit, I could've crashed us...

From the side of my eye I could see Gonzalez scrambling to get her phone out of her pocket. She slid her finger across the phone an answered the call.

"Hello ? --- I'm good Mom --- Hunter's driving me home --- No Mom nothing happened, we just picked up his brother from DUI"

I start smiling a bit. Her Mom thought we were... Yeah you get it.

"--- About 30 minutes I'll be home Mommy --- You wanna tell me what ? --- Mom don't be like that !! What did you wanna tell me ?!?--- Fine. I'll see you later Mommy--- I love you too. Bye---"

Her face slowly turned into a scared and worried face. She must have been deep in thoughts because when I reached over and tapped her on the shoulder; she nearly jumped out of the window.

"What's wrong ?"

"Oh. Nothing."

"C'mon Gonzalez."

"I don't even know myself Hunter."

*2 Days Later*

It's been two days and I haven't talked to Selena. I tried texting her and calling her but nothing worked. Even in school I haven't been able to talk to her. I really don't wanna have this kind of relationship.

I kept tossing the soccer ball up at the ceiling. It was a half day and I had nothing to do. I turn and look at my plain boring alarm clock.

12:21pm

Ugh !! There's nothing fun to do !!! I roll over and stare at my window; my window was right next to the balcony. A tiny evil smirk creeps on my face as I swing on my black North Face jacket and opened the window.

Chills shudder down my neck as the cold December weather hit me; leaving tiny goosebumps on my body. I parkour'd my way up to her window sill; she'd left her curtains open. She wasn't in there.

A minute later she opened her door and walked in. She had on navy blue sweatpants and a white kami; her hair tied in a messy bun and her glasses on. Even when she's not trying she's gorgeous. My train of the thought was cut by her dropping down on her knees, her head in her hands. What the hell was going on ??

I violently knock on the window until she noticed. She slowly got up and wiped her eyes. She opened the window and let me in.

"Gonzalez, what's wrong ?" I asked worriedly

She just shook her head and stared at her shoes; her face turning a slight shade of red.

"What's wrong ? You can trust me." I asked again.

She just bit her lip and kept shaking her head. Now I know something was wrong with her.

I lightly grabbed her chin and rose her head up to look at me; her bright hazels turning into a cascade of green.

"Selena, tell me please." I whispered

Tears now racing down her face, she was still holding in her emotions. This isn't gonna get her anywhere is she keeps doing this.

"Hu-Hunter. I have to go away for a little bit"

My heart dropping by the inch at her words. Where was she going ? I can't let her leave.

"Why ? What happened Selena ?"

"My dad died of a stroke just Monday night. I have to fly out to help with the funeral."

I pulled her in for bear hug. He tears dripping down onto my jacket as she quiet weeped to herself.

"How long are you gonna be gone ?" I asked

"I'm gonna be gone for a month Hunter."

"A-A Month ?! That long ? But when's your flight ??"

She swallowed hard and looked up at me. Her hands slid down and intertwined with mine.

"Hunter my flight is tomorrow night."
