I've realized I've written a lot in Selena's POV. It's because if I write in Hunter's POV, it'll give too much info >:)

As Moe handed the cashier the money (after I pleaded him not to) he went his way and Bianca and I our way.

I still can't believe he bought me a dress. I swear I must be dreaming or on a Jimmy Kimmel live show.

Walking through the mall doors into the cool winter night. The breeze lightly grazed across my face as I put my hands in my sweatshirt pocket. Life didn't seem too bad.

"So batch !" Bianca exclaimed flinging her arm on my shoulder, "We need to have the talk" She slowed her walking pace, showing how serious she was.

"I know where babies come from Bianca..."

"No stupid ! About your date"

"What about him ?"

"This Hunter guy, he's not the... the umm..."

"The nicest , tight eyed, cocky kinda guy ?" I snarled jokingly back. We both giggled, we all know it's true.

We turned to the car and slipped in, still discussing "Hunter".

"He's the kind of guy that will want to slip into your pants Sel" she said as she switched to gear and drove off, "He's a dick. And I'm just watching out for you"

The entire ride she was talking about all the shiz he did in Elementary school and Middle school that could lead onto me. I just huffed and tried to ignore her, but a little thought in the back of mind told me to listen.

Bianca, only "Mom'd" me when she was dead serious.

She made a right turn into the apartment parking lot and parked. We both hopped out in silence as I opened the complex doors.

"Well, I'll see you at the dance tomorrow Mrs. AroGazos ;) " she winked.

I gave her a playful nudge and flipped her the bird while walking upstairs.

As I shimmy the keys into the lock and push the door open I could hear Meldin and Mom snoring on the couch together. The two of ten always watch movies and fall asleep. I grinned and kissed both of their foreheads goodnight.

I quickly changed into a big t shirt and Smiley Face pj pants. Nearly pouncing onto my bed of exhaustion, I couldn't stop thinking about today.

"He's a dick Sel. Be careful"

My mind raced with thoughts. Life had gone by so fast, and now I'm going to a dance. I have ALWAYS hated social events, mainly because I'm anti-social myself.

I just brushed it off as my eyelids grew heavy and the sound of the heater droned out into a peaceful silence.

Friday Night--

"HURRY UP PRECIOUS !! HE'S HERE !!" yelled my mom from the kitchen.

"OKAY MOM !" I shouted back from the bathroom. I decided to wear my "Once Inna Leap Year" contacts. I stood up and stared at myself in the mirror. My hazel eyes twinkled as I stared in disbelief. Am I actually wearing a dress ? I shook my head in disbelief and trotted my way the front door.

"No funny business !" my mom snapped from the kitchen.

"No promises !" I joked back as I blew her a kiss goodbye and walked out of the door.

Who knew these heels Bianca lended me were soooo high ?? I feel like a new born baby walking down the steps. I pushed the door open and my jaw nearly dropped at the sight of Hunter.

He was leaning up against a Candy Apple Red Ferrari, one foot on the tire, one planted on the ground. He was wearing a black polo tucked in and dark faded skinny jeans.

He looked incredible *.*

He looked up from his zoned out gaze in my direction with a flat out "Is this really her ?" face. I couldn't help but feel my face warm up a bit at the thought of him thinking that.

"Y-you look great Gonzalez" he stuttered, "Um-er, you ready to go Mah Lady ?" He bowed his head and opened the passenger seat. I did a little fake curtsy and hopped right in. He hopped in on his side and we were off.

The car was filled with nervous tension and awkward silence. I tried to find a way to entertain myself. I slid my fingers across the dashboard and farther down until I found something interesting.The glove compartment. You can always tell a person by what's in their glove compartment. I flipped the compartment open and out fell a GIGANTIC stash of candy bars !

"Hey, what the- GONZALEZ !" he barked while swiveling his head back and forth to me and the road, "What are you doing ?"

I sat up, "Got a sweet tooth don't you Hunter ?" I cooed as I swayed a Hershey's Cookies & Creme in front of his face. I unwrapped the candy and popped a piece in my mouth. The tingly feeling of white chocolate danced across my tongue.

"That's my favorite candy" he informed. My eyebrows shot up, "Mine too," I popped another, "And they're all mine !!" I faked a sinister to only end up cracking up.

"You know with all this candy you're gonna die of diabetes" I managed to say through my laugh. From the corner of my eye I could see him smirking.

"Well, I don't give a-" he voice grew quiet. I could feel a vibe, and it wasn't a good one. "Oh shit" he passed under his breath. What ?What was he talking about ?

"GET DOWN GONZALEZ !!" he shouted as he leaped onto me. I didn't understand until it hit me. There was a high pitches sound surrounding my eardrums and a quick pain to my side. I could feel the everything flipping over and over. The top of my head hitting something and I couldn't see anything.

"They're right here !! They seem to be breathing, come on !" shouted a voice. I couldn't see much because my eyes had blurred up. "Hu-Hun-Hunter ?" I struggled to say. Where was Hunter ? "Don't worry, we'll get you to a hospital as soon as possible." spoke the voice again. I could feel my body off the ground. As my vision became worse. Where was Hunter ?

As my slight sight blurred, all things faded in.

I was out.

Beep. Beep.

My eyes slowly flickered open

Beep. Beep.

The sound of my heart was pumping on the monitor.

I pushed myself up from the bed, giving out a slight groan in pain. My head hurt like hell.

"What happened ?" I groaned

"OH MY GOD YOU'RE AWAKE !!" shouted a voice. I turned to see Yosselin, running in with a cup of coffee. She propped the coffee on a little table and flung her arms around my neck.

"Ow" I moaned. She quickly backed off and gave a slight sorry. "What happened ? Where am I ?" I mumbled looking around the room.

Yosselin's face whitened a bit, "You're in the hospital. On the way to WinterFest, you guys go into a car accident. The brakes had stopped working in the car and you his crashing into another car," she stared down at her toes, "Hunter dove in and took the damages for you"

OH MY GOSH ! I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT HUNTER !! I quickly stood up on my feet, despite the fact that my ankle hurt and my head too. "Where's Hunter" I asked

"Look, Selena. Just lay back do-"

I narrowed my eyes and stepped forward,

"Where is Hunter ?" I asked again, my voice bitter and cold.

She sighed and rubbed her neck, "He's in room 224"

I paced my way out of the room. I turn my head to see my room number. 220. He's only four rooms down. I slowly but surely limped my way down to his room.

As I turn into the room, I could feel my heart shatter. He was wrapped in bandages and had his leg kicked up. His face so emotionless and painless.

I sat in an open seat next to him and grab his hand.

Beep. Beep.

I rotate my head up to see the monitor. It gave a steady rate of his heartbeat. I slowly layed my head by his side, soothing to the slow and steady beat of his heart.

Beep. Beep.

Beep. Beep.

Beep. Beep.

Beep. Beep.

Beep. Beep. BeepBeepBeeep!!!m

I quickly raised my head in confusion. His heart was beating faster. Oh my God .

BeepBeepBeepBeepBeeeeeeeeee

The sound of the machine went into a high steady movie of nothing.

Wait, if there's no noise... Then-.

"No ! No! No !" I shuddered as I backed away from him. He couldn't be. H-he's not !

"Hunter wake up !!" I yelled as I shook him,"HUNTER WAKE UP !!" I shook him even harder. My eyes tearing up, "Hunter please .."

Beeeeeeeeeeeeee

My eyes drown out in tears as my head lays on his chest.

Hunter AroGazos was dead.
