I woke up next to Katelyn. Alexis was downstairs sleeping on the floor in a corner. "Alexis wake up." I whisper yelled. Her ears perked up and she stretched. "What?" She mumbled. "I thought you slept upstairs." She scooted over to me. "I'm a born protector." She said with her tail wagging. "I don't need protection." She smirked. "You will." I scowled. "That's gross." She stretched again. "But its true." Katelyn woke up and rubbed her eyes. "Morning Katelyn." Alexis said. "Go bark up a tree." She said smirking. "Go get stuck in the tree I'm barking at." Alexis growled. "I miss Nixon." I said. "We're going home later." Katelyn said. "Until then just pet Alexis, or Dom." Katelyn said. I pet Alexis. Then when Katelyn wasn't paying attention I pet her too. She blushed and purred. "Cute." I mumbled. "Hey guys." Nicole said plopping on the couch. "Sup." Alexis said. "Hi." I said. "Why are you petting Katelyn?" I stopped petting her. "She's like a kitten." Nicole laughed and Katelyn glared. "We got to get going." Dom said. "Brendan is waiting at the gate." Nicole said. I picked up my bag and walked to the gate. Then I was picked up. "Do- wait Alexis! I know how to walk." I said. "I know." She said. She turned and looked at Dom. "Jealous much?" She teased. "No, I like someone else now." He said. "Finally I lost Casanova number 2." I said.

I walked over to the gate and was tackled into the dirt.
"(Y/N)!" He yelled. "Laurence!" I yelled back. I kissed his cheek and he blushed. "Cute." I heard someone mumble. "What was that?" I asked. "I said cute." Everyone looked around. "You think you can get rid of me." Laurence stood and helped me up. "I remember you two. The nether isn't that big." I drew my sword. "No need for that (Y/N), unless you want this to get messy." Alexis's ears perked up. She threw a dagger into the trees. "Nice shot, too bad I know how to catch." Alexis growled. "Show yourself!" She howled. "Gladly." A cloaked figure fell from a brach and stabbed her. "I told you we could talk this out you ignorant fool." Dom ran over to her. "Alexis! I can't lose you too!" She coughed. "Stay strong." She said softly. Then passed out from blood loss. Garroth opened the gate and all the guards poured out. Aphmau healed Alexis. "Who are you?" I asked. The figure took off his hood. "I'm back." He said. "Bryce!" I yelled. "(Y/N), tell me something, how painful was it when you were turned?" Dom grabbed him from behind. "Big mistake." He mumbled. Bryce flipped Dom and kicked his back. "Answer my question (Y/N)." I hesitated to answer. "It hurt a lot, and I missed my parents funeral. Everyone thought I killed them." He walked up to me and held my chin. "You should've stayed with me, you would help me lead my clan." He let go of my face. "Just remember (Y/N), I'm always watching." He sprinted into the forest laughing. "What happened?" Alexis asked standing up. "You suck at fighting." Katelyn said. "My head hurts." Dom picked her up. "I'm so glad your alive, thank you Aphmau." I put my sword in its sheath. "I think I'm gonna go home." I said. "Can I come with?" Alexis asked. "Sure, I think Nixon would like you." We walked to my house. I opened the door and was tackled again. "Nixon! Down boy!" Alexis pet him and got off of me. "Hey there." She said. "Bark! Bark!" Alexis giggled. "You can understand him?" I asked. "Yeah, he said your head reminds him of a watermelon." I glared at him. "Bark!" Alexis sat down. "He said just kidding, I love you." I pet him and we just sat on our porch for a while. "The sunsets awesome." Alexis said. "Be right back." She said walking away. When she came back she brought Laurence. "He asked to see you, I'll go wait over there under a tree." Laurence walked up and kissed me. "Well your very forward." I said. "Thanks." He said putting an arm around my shoulder. "For what?" I say laying my head on his shoulder. "For always being there."
