I desire and I crave {{Part 2 of 4}}

ELLIOT WANTED TO VOMIT. She laid on her bed, thinking about the last twenty of her life.

Yige. The journalist. The girl who fought the system in China. Who her parents herald as hero. Defiant, intellegent...

God, why did she deserve to die!? She didn't do anything!

Elliot curled into the fetal position. And she cried. Messily, grossly, and disgustingly.

"I wish..." She sniffed, and said something she'll never ever say again. "...I wish my dads were here..."

When Elliot woke up, it was almost like how she regularly woke up. Stretched her body and arms out, yawned, and wondered what school was like now.

Untill dawned on her: she was trapped, someone she knew was killed right in front of her, oh! And a blossoming romance in a killing game.

Elliot wanted to law her right back down. She hated life as of now. But maybe...

Maybe... she could handle just a little more.

Elliot got up, and pondered on what she should do. Should she talk to Zinnia? She wasn't ready to be bombarded with creepy comments about plants.

Eda? Eda, while nice, had a... to put it lightly, questionable attraction towards rocks.

Yui? Err... it seemed Yui liked being alone, or talking to Yosuke about god knows what. Also Leon.

Yoshiki? He seemed preoccupied with Kohaku and the anime girl thing.

Kohaku? Well... same reason as above.

Hijime? Well... well of course Hijime! Hijime was nice, pleasant, and smelled nice.

Elliot decided to hang out with Hijime.

  🍙🍙🍙🍙FANGAN FONPA!🍙🍙🍙🍙

Hijime and Elliot were hanging out in the art room, when Yoshiki and Kohaku weren't there. They were talking about... well, everything. Kinda.

"R-random que-question but... do you have any p-p-pets?" Hijime asked, stuttered.

"Well, my dads own a-"

"W-w-wait... not to be rude b-but... dads? As in plural?"

"Well, my parents are two guys. So, ergo; dads. Anyway, so my dad's own a dog. It's a Rottweiler named Chiryoku. She's a sweetie pie, despite her looks." Elliot said, making hand movements. "Then I used to own a hedgehog, his name is Freude."

"Oh, cool. What h-h-happened to it?" Hijime asked, stuttering.

"Nothing bad. He wasn't aloud on the plane when we were moving, so he now lives with my aunt."

"Th-that's good."

"Lastly, I currently own a Japanese bobtail. Her name Esperas - which my dad tells me is Esperanto for 'hope'. I wonder if she's okay..."

"Sh-sh-she probably is, s-si-since your parents are there. Anyways... about... tha-that..." Hijime stuttered.

Elliot facepalmed. "Seriously man? Puh-lease don't tell me your gonna stop being my friend cause my parents are gay..."

"It's not! Li-like that, Elliot! I just... ha-have questions."

"Like... what?"

"What's it like? Si-si-since I-I-I grew up with a mom and a dad..."

Elliot raised an eyebrow. "Just like... I dunno, regular parents. They aren't abusive or weird, if you're thinking that." And Elliot gave a sigh. "And they would never... vandalize me, if you're wondering. They're parents, who have a teen daughter, who happen to be gay. It's not that deep."

"I-I-I see. S-so... was it m-preg*?"

"The fuck is that?"

"I-I-It's male pregnancy."

Elliot took a long breath. "Namaeda... no... Namaeda. Listen, I was adopted. Not that male pregnancy shit."

"Ok-okay, th-then. I have to do a rewrite o-of my SouYo* fic th-then."

"SouYo? Is that the ship you like?"

"N-no. SouYo is from Persona 4*, and that's a RPG video game. My sh-ship is... embarrassing."

Elliot facepalmed again. "Dude, just spill it."

"It-it's...!!" Hijime tried to msuter confidence, "I can't say it out loud..." Hijime mumbled, losing confidence.

Elliot gave him a 'are you kidding me look?'. "Anyways, what pets do you have? Just to get us back on topic."

Hijime smiled. "I have a-a-a parrot named Tanga. I... I wonder how my parents are treating him. M-m-my pa-parents aren't f-f-f-found of birds." When he ended his statement, his voice drifted off. "Anyways. Th-thank you f-for talking. I-I'm sorry f-for making things awkward a-ab-about your dads."

Elliot awkwardly sat up, still a tad bit embarrassed. She was always... embarrassed about her parents. "It's okay,  Namaeda. I'm not that mad, dude."

Hijime stood up, and bowed to her. "Th-thank you, Elliot. S-see you s-so-soon."

As soon as Hijime left the art room, Elliot decide to hangout with someone else. Maybe she could hang out out with Yui...?

    🍙🍙🍙🍙FANGAN FONPA!🍙🍙🍙🍙

Yui, of course, was with Yosuke in the mess hall. Yui was silently talking to his fellow blunette, with what Elliot assumed was a smile.

"Anyways....... Yosuke-neesan*... you would never.... kill me, right...?" Yui softly spoke, fumbling with a light blue headphone, and his smile fading to a frown.

Neesan? Elliot thought awkwardly sitting to a table near them. Oh god, I feel like a stalker...

Yosuke gave an insulted look. "Why would thee? Thou art..." Yosuke trailed of noticing Elliot. "O, good morning Lady Elliot." Yosuke said, using her old english.

"Good morning, Kishi." Elliot responded, trying play her 'almost a stalking nature' nonchalantly. "Hey, Enoshima-"

Before Elliot could finish, Yui cut her off. "Please do not call me Enoshima. It's just Yui. If you want to be respectful... well... I guess Usui*..."

An awkward silence.

Yui slightly blushed. "I'm sorry... t-that was rude..."

"It's okay, Usui. Anyways, I don't anyone is going to kill. I mean, I would like getting two grand but..." Elliot went quiet for a moment. "But I respect human life a bit more, and I think Kishi respects your life, too."

Yosuke lightly smiled. "Thank thou, Lady Elliot. Like Lady Elliot said..."

"'Kishi respects your life, too'... but even still I... I'm sorry. I'm making this... awkward..." Yui mumbled, almost melting into his chair.

"If you want," Elliot said, awkwardly, "I could go."

No, you're making it worse...!

Yui stayed silent, still slouching. Yosuke frowned.

"I'll go." Elliot said, leaving the mess hall.

"Thou may visit again, Lady Elliot!" Yosuke blurted, trying make things less awkward.

Elliot decided to give Kosabacahi a try, after embarrassing herself with Yui and Yosuke. Kosabachi was in the store, which was pretty useless place to have in a catacomb.

"Fufufufu... look at these ugly keychains. They remind me of disgusting garbage!" She said, glaring at a Monokuma keychain. "Who'd buy this?"

"Maybe a Monokuma fan?"

"Pffft. As if. No one is that dumb, Elliot!"

"Uh-huh... hey, you called yourself greedy when we met. Are you going to kill someone for the two grand Monokuma told us about?"

Kosabachi puffed. "Now why would I ruin my kimono and rank for petty murder? Unless I had a death wish. Now, I do want that two grand, though. I bear shouldn't have all that!" The redhead boomed. "Now, a dignified woman like moi should." She said, placing a hand under her chin.

Elliot nodded along. Kosabachi was... an interesting girl. "Oh, that's good. I really hope no dies like..." Elliot paused, it almost hurt saying Yige's surname. They weren't friends. They never talked that much. But... it hurt. "...like what happened yesterday night."

Kosabachi went slightly limp. Her haughty grin fading away. "... Yige was my friend, y'know."

"Oh... I'm sorry."

Kosabachi eyes went to the ground. "She was nice and... was the only person who understood old Japanese culture." Kosabachi sighed. "Not like the sword geek or that modern art fool. Someone who shares my interests! And now..."

"I'm sorry Pianzi died. She didn't need to go out like that. Well, she didn't need go out at all."

Kosabachi gave Elliot an awkward smile. "Yeah."

"Also, 'Modern Art Fool'? Is that Yoshiki?"

Kosabachi gave her classic 'pffft'. "Duh, and his bestie Kohaku! Modern Art is such a joke. You could staple a piece of ripped cloth onto a canvass and say 'Oooooooh, look at my masterpiece!'."

Elliot gave a snort. "... that's actually pretty true, Kaiba. Not to riff on Yoshiki, though."

Kosabachi did a catlike smile, very similar to Zinnia's. Except... maybe more genuine?

"Thank you, Elliot. That..." Kosabachi turned her head away, but Elliot notice tears form at her eyes. "... That means alot."

By the time Elliot went to her room, it was night time. And obviously, she decided to get some sleep. She laid on her bed, with a small smile. She was... considerably happy. Hijime was... well, Hijime. Yui was a bit more assertive now. Yosuke was the same. Kosabachi wasn't just a greedy singer, but a girl who lost a friend.

Elliot rested her head on her lavender pillow, feeling happy. Much better than last night, definitely.

When Elliot woke up, she felt something... was off. She was in the art room with Yoshiki and Kohaku, who were painting that magical girl wand.

The pallet was pink base and a gold top.

"That looks really good, Furamenko and Hoshi. What paints are those, acrylic? Enamel?"

Yoshiki gave a soft laugh. "Oh Elliot-tan, it's actually Encaustic. Which..." Yoshiki looked at his art supplies. And a soft sigh, and got up. "... I am out off."

Kohaku gave a awkward smile. "Yoshiki, I told you to be prepared about this! The wand needs many layers of paint."

"Kohaku-pyon, I'm going to the school store to see if they have any there." Yoshiki said, walking out of the art room.

Elliot sighs, watching Yoshiki leave. And then looked at Kohaku, as the boy stared at the magical 'wand'. "So,  how you become the Super High School Level Anime Girl?"

Kohaku gave a laugh. "Oh, it's pretty simply actually. I'm a voice actor in independent animes -- which I'm mostly the main character. Which were always a girl." Kohaku said, smiling. "It all started from a boy from my primary school - he was a transfer student, and I decided to be friends with him. Then, his friends told me my voice was perfect for a show they were making. And bam! That's history."

Elliot gave a smirk, it was certainly interesting hearing stuff from Kohaku. "Hoshi, what happened to the transfer student."

Kohaku sadly sighed. "He left. I was extremely distraught about it, and now that I'm older, I realized I fell in love with him." Kohaku smiled weakly. "He told me on his last day of school 'I just want others to be happy.' After that, I used that quote to motivate all my works." He smiled. "Still don't know how that makes me an anime girl, but the sailor fuku is nice and comfy."

Elliot was surprised, she definitely  wanted to slap the her that first met Kohaku. Kohaku wasn't at all perverted, just trying to make others happy. "Man, Hoshi, that's... really nice of you. In a crowd full of weirdos at Hope's Peak, you're a cinnamon roll*."

"I mean, that's not completely true, Elliot. I bet everyone here is a decent person deep down. I think just a bit of respect and honesty will make that part flourish." He responded nicely, with a slightly gentle smile.

Elliot gave a smile in return. "My dad would love you. He thinks about the good in people, ya know?"

"Really? I hope, that when we get out of here, I meet him."

Elliot laughed. "Well, I better get going. I need to eat, y'know?" Elliot said, getting up. "I can't wait to see that wand done. See ya later, Hoshi!"

Kohaku smiled back, waving the lucky off. "See you, too, Elliot!"

Elliot was eating a plain bagel, when she noticed an obviously shaken Ayameko enter the mess hall.

"Yayashi? What's wrong?"

Ayameko didn't respond. Just looked blankly at the group in there (Yui, Leon, Albert, Kosabachi, and of course Elliot.)

Ayameko shook her head. "Please come with me." She said flatly.

Elliot felt her mind race. What happened

"What's wrong? You can tell us, Ayameko." Leon said, clasping his hands together. "We'll never judge you."

Ayameko shook her head again. "I didn't do anything. I found."

Found? Found... what?
