8. Wanting To Forget

// Gabriel's POV

It has been three weeks! Three fucking weeks since both incidents happened at the coffee shop.

Gabriel continued going to his job and classes.

Sam was never at the coffee shop anymore. And if Gabe had classes with him. Sam would just avoid him.

According to Lucifer, Sam's explanation was "To avoid causing more trouble."

After a while of Gabriel trying to talk to Sam, he gave up.

During class, he would glance at the taller boy a few times but he just gave up trying to talk to him.

It was rare for Sam to show up at the coffee shop. Gabriel just thought he went to another one.

However the few times Sam did show up at the shop, Alfie would turn to Gabriel.

But Gabriel just shook his head and made coffee.

Eventually he stopped showing up.

Today was another day without Sam. Gabriel was working the night shift. He was the only one.

And no one was really showing up so he decided to begin packing up. He walked over to the door and flipped over the open sign so it said closed.

He pulled out his phone. He needed to see her. To try and forget.

// Sam's POV

Sam sighed as he walked along the dark road.

He hadn't talked to Gabriel in weeks. At first Gabriel seemed to keep wanting to speak with him but after a while he stopped.

Lucifer kept trying to convince him to talk to him. But Sam just said he wouldn't, he was avoiding causing more trouble.

Fortunately for Sam, he wasn't alone. During the weeks, he became close to Jessica. They talked more. She flirted with him. But Sam didn't want anything serious with her.

He wondered what would happen if he showed up at the coffee shop. Nah. It was dark out. Gabriel was probably in his dorm. He knew where that was.

Lucifer was friends with his roommate.

Maybe Sam would stop by and apologize or something. Tell him he was sorry for not talking to him in weeks. Sorry for spilling that coffee on him and kissing him.

He roamed the halls of the college looking for the specific number. 221.

Sam turned a few corners before finding it.

He stood at the door. He brought up his hand. Ready to knock.

But he stopped midway.

Maybe he should just leave. Give him time. Gabriel probably didn't even want to see him anymore.

No. He had to do this. Even if he didn't want to see him. He should apologize.

Sam knocked on the door lightly. No one answered. He knocked harder.

"Whoa there! I'm coming!" Someone called.

The door swung open and a guy shorter than Sam looked up at him.

"Hi uh...Balthazar?" He asked slowly.

"That's me."

"Is Gabriel here?"

Balthazar looked behind him and shrugged.

"I don't know. Is he?" He smirked.

Sam sighed and began to walk away.

"Hey wait a minute!" Balthazar called out. Sam turned around.

"Gabriel has been taking the night shift at his job. . . He should be there. You two need to make up. And possibly make out." He winked before closing the door in the taller one's face.

Sam slowly nodded and began walking towards his dorm to shower. He needed to see Gabriel at least showered and dressed in his usual plaid.

He opened the door and walked over to his side of the room. He opened his closet and grabbed a few clothes and a towel. Lucifer wasn't in the dorm. Sam shrugged to himself and began walking towards the bathroom. He placed his clothes and towel on a stand by the sink and stripped of his shirt when a pair of hands wrapped around his waist.

Sam jumped up and turned his head to see who was behind him.

Lucifer.

"Hey Sammy." He whispered, leaning his head against Sam's bare back. Sam was blushing a dark maroon. What was going on?

"L- Lucifer. . .hey. What are you doing." Sam breathed out.

Lucifer spun Sam around so they were facing each other.

"Proving a point. . ." He whispered before wrapping his arms around Sam's neck and crashing their lips togather.

Sam's eyes widened. What was going on with Lucifer? Why was this happening? Still Sam found himself kissing back. He placed his hands on Lucifer's waist.

Lucifer moved a hand down to Sam's cheek. Sam began pushing him back into the wall, never breaking the kiss. Lucifer lead them into their room and pushed Sam onto his bed.

He climbed on top of him and kissed his neck. Sam groaned and took off Lucifer's shirt.

Lucifer grinded his waist into Sam's causing a low moans to escape both their mouths. Lucifer let his hands roam the taller man's chest.

They were both breathing hard. Lucifer ground his hips back down onto Sam. The taller boy let his head fall back.

Was this really happening? No. Sam couldn't let this go on. He wanted Gabriel.

Lucifer began fumbling with Sam's belt when Sam stopped him.

"No...Lucifer. I-" he was cut off when Lucifer started laughing.

"I know I know. I did say I was proving a point didn't I? My point: You love Gabriel. You want Gabriel. I was wondering how far you would go before I had to stop you. Now get out of here and go apologize to the poor guy." He laughed pushing Sam off his bed.

Sam smiled and got dressed again. He ran out of the room and walked over towards his car. He was going to apologize.

// Gabriel's POV

"Hello?" Someone answered on the other side of the phone.

Gabriel smiled.

"Kali." He stated.

"Who is this? Gabriel?" She asked.

Gabriel laughed lowly.

"Yea it's me...uh...could you stop by the coffee shop? We've got some unfinished business to do." He whispered at the end.

"Mmm...sure. I'll be there. Be ready Gabriel."

And she hung up.

Gabriel cleaned up a few tables until someone stepped through the door.

"Kali, baby! Welcome." Gabriel smirked.

She walked in his direction.

"So this is what you do? Clean tables?" She laughed.

Gabriel didn't know why he even called her.

"Now now Kali, be nice. Or you wont get anything." He purred. Why was he still playing at this game with her?

She smirked and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I've been a very bad girl..." she whispered.

And then their lips crashed. Gabriel removed his apron and placed his hands on her ass and squeezed, causing her to jump.

Their tongues were soon battling for domains. Gabriel moved his hand to the back of her red dress and searched for the zipper. Found it. He needed to stop. But he couldn't. He needed to forget Sam. Even if it was impossible.

He began unzipping her dress when the door swing open.

"Gabr-" someone started but their voice faded.

Gabriel pulled away from the girl and gasped slightly. No. This could not be happening.

Sam Winchester had walked in.
