// Gabriel's POV

The Welcoming Party.

Gabriel's favourite time of the year. Well next to any breaks he got. But he did enjoy going to that party because, well chicks! And dudes. If he found any.

He mostly flirted with girls but if he found a guy staring at him, well Gabe would dive right in.

Gabriel wondered if he would he Sam there. He was a first year after all. Sam didn't seem like the type of person to party. He looked more of a book worm or something alike.

People could choose whether or not if they wanted to show up to the party. So maybe Sam wasn't going. Oh well. Gabe was still hoping he would show up.

// Sam's POV

Sam and Lucifer walked into the gym of the building, which was already full of people and music blaring out everywhere.

Their ears thumped against their head.

Sam stopped at the doorway and looked around. Everyone was already dancing. Bumping against each other accidentally and purposely.

Lucifer was eyeing a group of giggling girls. He bit his lip and patted Sam on the back.

"Well Sammy, I'm off to go see what I can get. See ya back at the dorm!" He called before walking towards them.

Sam rolled his eyes and leaned back on the wall.

What was he even doing here? He should be finishing that book he was reading, Lord Of The Rings. He was almost done with the last book!

Then Sam remembered.

Jessica!

Sam looked around the room for her. It was dark. The only thing lighting the place was a few lights going around the room.

Curly blonde hair.

Curly blonde hair.

Curly blonde hair...

Ah ha!

Sam had found her!

She turned around and Sam could see her face. Her gorgeous features. She was pretty. Beautiful! But Sam only needed someone to talk to. He didn't need a relationship right now. Even if she was beautiful.

Sam began walking towards her when some other guy walked up to her and put his arms around her waist.

Well then. Forget it. Sam walked to the refreshments and grabbed a can of soda. There was beer but Sam didn't want to get drunk tonight. Not his first day!

For Lucifer it was a different story, he was already stumbling about in the crowd, leaning against a group of girls that were all making out with him.

Sam took a long gulp of his drink and leaned on a wall in a corner.

Sam thought about leaving. But there were people passing out all over the exits.

Sam sighed and took another long gulp of his drink.

This was going to be a long night.

// Gabriel's POV

Gabriel walked into the gym, stepping over a few drunk people.

He looked around. Eyeing a few girls. He spotted that girl Charlie from the shop and a few others he knew.

She looked over at Gabe and smiled. Gabriel smiled in return and walked over to the refreshments table.

He grabbed a beer from the cooler and walked to a corner of the room.

He looked around, not sure for what. Maybe some girl he could have a one night stand with. Or even a man! Maybe Sam? Nah.

Gabriel would probably never even see him again.

He took a gulp of beer and shook his head at the sour taste.

He closed his eyes and saw a tall man walking towards him in his thoughts. Golden hazel eyes met him. Why couldn't he stop thinking about him?

Ugh he needed someone to help him forget. He was just some customer at Starbucks.

Gabe shook his head again and opened his eyes.

And saw him.

Sam was standing in another corner of the room.

He was also looking around the room. Sam glanced towards Gabriel and his eyes widened.

Golden hazel eyes met with Gabe's golden brown ones.

Gabriel had found him. And he needed to talk to him. He took a long sip of his beer and winked at Sam, causing a red colour to cover his cheeks, which was visible through the dimmed room.

Sam looked away and shuffled his feet on the floor nervously.

Gabriel decided to have a little fun. Tonight was the night people shagged until morning with people they would probably never meet again.

Maybe they would go that far. They probably wouldn't. But Gabe at least wanted to talk to the taller boy.

Gabriel smirked at Sam before walking across the dance floor, only to be stopped by a group of people dancing in front of him.

Gabriel pushed his way through them until he could see Sam again.

Except he was with someone else. Some girl was dragging him towards the dance floor.

Who the hell was she?!

Gabe was walking towards Sam when the music changed to a more exciting fun tune, the type that made groups of people dance with each other.

Someone grabbed Gabe's hand and they were soon dancing. Jumping around. He looked down at the girl in front of him. She had short brown hair and was smiling widely at her surroundings.

Gabe looked behind him and saw Sam dancing with a girl with long black hair. He looked just as confuses as he did.

Their eyes locked again.

Gabe smiled at Sam and the younger boy returned the smile in confusion to what was going on.

Everyone was dancing with someone.

Soon Gabriel found himself spinning the girl and someone else grabbed her hand and danced with her.

Someone was twirled towards Gabe and he grabbed her waist and hands and danced with her.

This seemed familiar. Like that dancing scene from that movie with Rupunzel. What was it called? Oh yea, this was just like the dance scene in Tangled.

Everyone was switching out partners.

Everyone was twirling and spinning around. Even Gabe and Sam.

Soon enough they were spinning and dancing towards each other.

Gabriel reached his hand out towards Sam and he did the same.

Their finger tips brushed against each other, when they were both pulled away from each other.

Oddly enough, they were both taken by men.

They danced with their partners.

Gabriel danced with someone taller than him.

He looked down at Gabriel with a smirk.

"Hello there." He whispered.

Gabriel smirked back at him for fun as he was spun around.

He glanced back at Sam. He was dancing with some guy shorter than him.

Sam looked really nervous as the shorter man lowered his hand on his hip, circling his thumb on Sam's belt.

Gabriel's eyes filled with anger.

Before he realised, the man spun Sam around and let him go.

Gabriel tried to get out of this guys grasp. He looked up at his partner and spun him around, letting him go into the crowd.

Gabriel turned back around and saw Sam spinning towards him.

He stopped and reached his hand out towards Sam.

Sam did the same.

And soon their hands interlocked and they were touching chest to chest. Just standing there, panting from all the dancing.

They looked into each others eyes and blushed as they let each other go.

They walked off the dance floor and towards the exit.

They stood by a wall and looked at anything but themselves.

Gabriel was the one to break the silence as he chuckled.

"That was some dance, huh?" He laughed.

Sam smiled widely and chuckled.

"Sure was."

"You know...you're a pretty good dancer, Samsquach." He smirked, bumping his shoulder against the taller boy.

He blushed and looked away.

"Uh thanks. Y-you were good t-too." He mumbled.

Gabriel smiled and sat on the ground and brought his knees up to his chest.

Sam sat down next to him.

"I didn't know you went here." He smiled at Gabe.

"Yea. It's my second year. You're a first year huh?"

"Yea."

They stayed in silence for a while before Gabriel began laughing, trying to lighten up the mood.

"What?" Sam asked trying to figure out whether to laugh or not.

"You and that guy. They way he touched you! I mean I'm not laughing at that. That kind of got me uh. Anyways, your face when he was with you! You looked like a scared little puppy!" Gabriel said putting his hand on his mouth, trying to muffle out the laughter.

Sam burst out laughing and gently punched Gabe's shoulder.

"Gabriel that wasn't funny! I was freaking out!" He tried not to laugh so hard.

Gabriel's laughter softened, until it stopped completely.

"You're right. That wasn't funny. But it was amusing." He said yawning.

"You should go back to your dorm. Get some sleep. You're practically drunk." He smiled.

Gabriel hiccuped and shook his head.

Sam was about to stand up when Gabriel grabbed his hand and pulled him back down, leaning his head against Sam's shoulder.

He wrapped his hands around Sam's arm and sighed.

Sam looked down at him, blushing madly.

Gabriel hid his face in the soft clothing and smirked to himself, for he was very much sober.
