Chapter 9- Stunned
~~~ Nate's Point of View ~~~
When I heard the water turn off, I realized that Kat's clothes weren't even done being washed. I quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, and wrote:
'Your clothes are still getting washed. For now, you can borrow one of my t-shirts and one of my pajama pants that I haven't worn in years. c: ~Nate'
I then ran into my room. I quickly snatched my Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess shirt, and my Mountain Dew pants, and put them in front of the bathroom door with the note.
I then walked back into the living room, waiting for her return.
As I turned off the water, I realized that he probably just put my clothes in. But, I still opened my door a crack, to see if they were there. I grabbed what was there, and a note. I read it, and smiled.
Nate thought ahead... for me. I thought. What am I kidding. He just didn't want me to be naked. Well, its a good thing I didn't give him my... undergarments, because then it would be a little awkward. For both of us.
I put his shirt on, and admired it. Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game... I then put on everything else and brushed out my hair. I went back into the living room, where I assumed Nate would be.
~~~ Nate's Point of View ~~~
When Kat came back, I was stunned. Her long, dark brown hair blocks one of her bright, blue-ish green eyes. Although, I noticed she was thin. Like, REALLY thin. My pants were baggy on her, especially around the waist. Something about seeing her in my clothes gave me a good feeling. I can't comprehend what it is, though. But, I remembered what Hunter said before he left, and I tried to forget that feeling.
She sat down next to me on the white couch. "Thanks... for letting me borrow your clothes. By the way, you have a good choice in shirts. TP is my favorite Zelda game, mostly because of Midna and the music. Heh..." She admitted with a smile.
I couldn't fight that feeling, and those thoughts, from creeping back into my brain.
