Clover's POV

I woke up in a bed and I turned my head to see that I was in a prison cell. I sat up and looked around. I saw a guard at the front door and he turned his head and saw me. He immediately ran off to somewhere that I don't know of. He came back with some people, some I recognize and I didn't. They all walked up to my cell and Sarah asked "Clover? Are y-you alright?" "Yeh. I think so." I said. "I see that you outgrew your clothes." Sarah said, giggling. I looked down at my clothes and realized that she was right. Man, I barely even noticed these clothes since I was always in my shadow knight form. I thought as I continued to look at my clothes. Kevin said "Sis...we thought you w-were d-dead..." I looked up at Kevin and said "Well, I guess I was dead once..." my mind was blank, just plain blank. Sarah said to everyone else, "Can you guys give us some time alone?" they nodded and left. It was just me and my siblings. "Clover....Mom passed away..." Kevin said to me. I didn't know how to react to this kind of news but I felt some tears go down my cheeks. I didn't know whether to be sad or angry at the fact I couldn't find any memories of her but I somehow remember her. I heard the door open and felt arms embrace me. "It's going to be okay Clover." Sarah said, trying to calm me down. "H-How?" I said, looking up at her. She just stared at the wall and said "I'm not sure...." "Come on Clover. Let's get you out of here." Kevin said, holding out his hand and I took it. He helped me up and we walked out of the guard station. Everyone else turned their heads and Lilith said "Why is she out?" her voice had a hint of anger in there. "Cuz I can and she's not the shadow knight we saw earlier." Kevin said while glaring at her. Lilith said "But-" she was cut off by Cadenza as she walked over. "Lilith stop! I'm fine! I know how you feel when I get hurt some way. (Hmm reminds me of two certain characters) But you can't just go hating on Clover for something she had no control over!" Cadenza was glaring at her best friend as Lilith lowered her head and said "I'm sorry Clover..." I gave her a hug and said "That's alright! Anyways...does anyone know where Forest is?" everything just went silence from there. "He should be in his house." Luke said under his hood and mask. I nodded and was about to go when Kevin grabbed my wrist, he said "Clover. When you get there...j-just prepare for what's going to happen ok?" I nodded again and walked to Forest's house. Thank Irene someone told me where he lived or else I would have been lost. I thought. I hesitated to knock on the door and took a deep breath and knocked. A girl with blond hair and blue eyes, said "Uh hello?" "Um hi. I'm looking for Forest." I said, wondering why was this woman inside this house. "Oh! You must be Clover right?" she asked me. I said "Yeh and who are you?" "My name is Veronica and um....I'm Forest's w-wife...." she said, looking behind her. I looked over her shoulder and saw two kids playing. "O-Oh....that's g-great!" I said trying not to break into tears. He's....he's married?! I thought as Veronica let me in. She led me to the living room and we sat down. "Your kids are beautiful." I blurted out. She looked at the kids with love and said "Yeah...." "May I ask where your husband is?" I asked her. "Oh that's right! I'm sorry! He's in our room." Veronica said, looking away. I got up and walked upstairs, I saw a door that was slightly open and I slowly walked up to it. I opened it slowly and said "F-Forest?" I saw him on one end of the bed, just staring at the wall. I walked over silently to him and sat down next to him. "Your wife is very nice..." I said, awkwardly. He mumbled "Thanks." "How are you?" I asked him. Forest looked away from the wall and looked straight at my eyes and said "My heart is torn between you two..." I saw tears in his eyes as he hugged me tight. He was sobbing and I started to cry as well. We stayed like that for a few minutes but I broke the hug and said "F-Forest...don't worry about me. I'm happy for you!" I smiled but I knew it was a fake smile cuz inside I was shattered to pieces. He gave me a weak smile and said "I'm glad....I'm happy to have my best friend back..." "What about Kevin? I thought he was your best friend? Hehe!" I giggled. "Nah. He's my best bro!" Forest said, laughing as well. After I left, I went to my old house and Cadenza walked up to me and gave me some new clothes and said "These are for you. I saw that you outgrew your clothes so I made you new ones~!" "Thanks Cadenza and I-I'm so sorry for hurting you!" I said with guilt. "Like I said before, that wasn't you. That wasn't your fault. Cya later~!" Cadenza reminded me as she left. I walked in and went to my bed and cried my heart out. I lost Forest!!!! M-My love....
