Steven's POV

I was with Rhys, McKenna, and some others at Aphmau's. We were chatting at Phoenix Drop High and how we were back then. "I remember that time when Dante and Crazy pranked us on Halloween at school! I hated it but it was a good prank tho." Aphmau said. Dante said "What? It was Halloween! What did you expect?!" we all laughed. "Hey Steven! Remember that you had a girlfriend back in high school~." Rhys said smirking. Everybody 'Oooo~!' except for me. "Yeah...heh...heh....yeh...." I said looking down. Everyone stopped and Aphmau said "Hey. It's ok. I know that you went through some hard times when you two broke up." she hugged me. I said "It's fine." I still can't believe that I dated Cadenza in high school...we were happy for a few months but then...it just fell apart. But I'm ok now. She was a great girlfriend and still a great friend.

We were talking about our truth or dare game at Aphmau's house when the memories came in.

*Flashback to the truth or dare game*

I knocked on the door and Aphmau answered "Hey Steven! You made it!" I walked in and said "Thanks for inviting me Aph!" she said "No problem! You're my friend! Now, go to my room and I'll join in a sec." I nodded and went upstairs to see the girls and the guys. I saw everyone except for one person that I couldn't remember who. We played some games until KC said "Let's play Truth or Dare!" everybody agreed. When Cadenza ran in, saying "I'm so sorry for being late! I had to do some homework!" "It's ok Cadenza! Sit anywhere!" Aphmau said. Cadenza nodded and sat next to me. I blushed a little cuz she was my crush. When it was my turn to be asked, my heart dropped. "I dare you to kiss your crush on the lips!" Katelyn said smirking. I felt so nervous and when I turned to look at Cadenza, I got lost in her beautiful eyes and I just did it. I kissed her and it felt great! She was shocked but then she kissed back. When we released, everyone had their jaws dropped to the floor. Cadenza stuttered "Y-You have a c-crush o-on m-me?!" I mumbled " Yes." we were blushing beet red. And at that moment, we started dating.

4 months later...

I saw my girlfriend walking towards me, looking sad and nervous. I walked up to her and kissed her cheek and said "How's my Cad doing?" she looked down and said "Steven....we need to talk..." I nodded, worried. We walked over to a bench and sat down. "So what's wrong?" I asked. She said "I....I don't think this is working out." "W-What?!" I said shocked. Cadenza was struggling to fight tears but said "S-Steven. I love you but....I also love Garroth and.....I think I love him more." my heart was shattering into a million pieces. "C-Cadenza? P-Please! I-I love you!" that's when she started to cry. She yelled "I KNOW! I'M SORRY! BUT WE'RE OVER! GOODBYE STEVEN!" she got up and ran away crying. I sat there, shocked and grief-stricken, started to cry. I walked to my house in grief. I heard a knock on the door and saw Ivy?! I growled "What do you want?" "I saw what happened between you and Cadenza so I wanted to see if I could help you." she said, kindness in her voice. "Ok..." I said, sadness edged my voice. We hung out more often and she was really nice to me and she helped me get through the break up. And that's when I fell in love with her.

*End of flashback* 

A single tear went down my face. I quickly wiped it off so nobody could see but Cadenza saw. She walked over and hugged me. I hugged back and I whispered in her ear "I missed you..." "I know..." she whispered back. I let go and said goodbye and went home to my house to see Ivy sleeping on the couch. I grabbed a blanket and put it over her. I kissed her forehead and whispered "Goodnight love~." she smiled through her sleep as I walked upstairs to go to bed.

Hey guys! That's the bonus chapter of ACOH! So pretty much like before I liked Ivy, I liked Cadenza's character so I wanted her to be my OC's girlfriend but Ivy came and took her spot. Since I ship Gardenza.
