The next morning Johnny went to the Curtis house.
"Hey, is ponyboy here..?"
Johnny said to Darry who was by the door ready to head out.
"Uh, yeah he's in his room. Did something happen to him he hasn't been out of his room all day?"
"Oh uh, I don't know.. I'll go in and check, I'm sure he's fine.."
Johnny makes his way to pony's room. He hears a ruckus from inside the room but by the time he got in pony had left using the window near his bed. Johnny quickly left trying to follow ponyboy. After looking for an hour Johnny finally found him hiding behind some trees in an old park.
"Hey pony..."
Johnny said approaching ponyboy.
"Johnny I'm sorry... I don't know why I did that." Pony looked down while tears formed in his eyes.
Johnny caressed pony's cheek, lifting it up so Johnny could look into his eyes. They stayed there for a second before Johnny cupped both cheeks with his soft hands that pony held onto. Johnny touched his forehead to pony's as they stood in silence, preparing for the following actions. Ponyboy moved away and let go of Johnny to stare some more, it was the moment that pony had dreamed about, and he just wanted to stay there forever. Johnny smiled at ponyboy before he moved in. Johnny pressed his lips on ponyboy's. The kiss lasted longer this time. Ponyboy quickly began to kiss back pushing closer onto johnnys body. After a bit Jonny pulled back.
"Uh, pony.... What does this mean for us..."
Ponyboy steps back thinking for a second.
"Well.., I really like you Johnny. Does this make us.... Boyfriends...?"
Johnny looks at ponyboy and then off anxious, thinking about what they should do.
"I mean I want to... but what would the guys say..-"
"They don't have to know.... At least for a little while... unless you don't want to-"
"No, we should keep it to ourselves for a bit. They gotta know, we just don't have to tell them right away..."
Ponyboy smiled, moving closer to Johnny. Johnny took pony's hand leading him off to the lot.
